    The training is in MSP for Endeavor and it’s 3.5 weeks, and they fly you to training and home from training , it’s a great company to work for

      I see there’s only 75 hours guaranteed. Is that actually what you make? Or could I work 160???? How can I do this? Any tips? :)

    • @Destininicole417
      @Destininicole417  4 года назад +2

      Lilly Wheeler from my own research, and interviewing with several different companies... the great thing about most airlines (because time is only accrued once passengers are seated and you are in air) you are guaranteed a set 75hrs this guarantees a full paycheck considering there may be delays, unforeseen circumstances etc. so yes you can work more or over of course keeping in mind if the airline you work for allows it. I would assume there’s plenty of opportunities to make more flight hours, however there is also per diem that covers your time away from home and then your safety net in times where you are waiting for a call or there are delays you at least know no matter what you have your guaranteed 75hrs.

    Wow! We are going through the same thing right now. I was dismissed from F9's training as well. Talk about devastation! I only had 1 week left which was "hell week" lol! I told myself I will not give up though. So I'm currently waiting for my phone interview with Endeavor. But this is so inspiring to know you are continuing on. We got this!

      kshell_ ohhh my heart breaks for you girl!! You won’t believe some of the backlash I’ve received sharing my experience. But I’ve realized no one can take our experience from us nor invalidate our feelings! Not sure when you were dismissed exactly if this was recent or not but just wanted to tell you if you have days where you feel down it’s completely natural bc I’m still going through it to. No one knows this feeling till they go through it! I’ve put a hold to applying focusing on things at home & college but I may venture out again. Good luck to you & keep shining through 😊

      @@Destininicole417 I'm totally just seeing your message! Thanks girl! I left F9 in 2016. I took a break from it myself and went back to school in 2017. I'm trying to get back at it now so we'll see what happens. But I appreciate your kind words. Also, I did look at your video about F9's training and I did see others backlashing! People will always have something negative to say, it's a damn shame! I'm glad you were handling it like a boss lol. I hope everything works out for you!

    If you get to travel, are there any FA forms to stay over the night or does one get hotel discounts or paid rooms?

    So the 75hr guarantee is every two weeks right? I thought I read somewhere it being per month 🤐. I got an email today to attend their recruitment event. They must really need flight attendants bc I didn't even fully complete my application yet! Also, they still don't provide hotel or flight accommodations. Luckily I live in Atlanta and unfortunately but fortunately don't have another job to keep me from attending. Hopefully the pay is what you mentioned or more by now!

      Unfortunately it said every month. I read it like 5 times in disbelief 🫢. I’m in Atl too & I didn’t finish my application. Then I got an invitation to go to the hiring event as well. I think they really need FA right now. Still contemplating if I should go this week.

      @@dewdropsweetthisle2753 This week? Lol it's TODAY..the 2nd one is in a few hrs. I think you should still go to get info to help you make your decision. That's what I'm gonna do bc I really don't understand the per credit hour pay and ready reserve etc.

      @@dewdropsweetthisle2753 The email says they don't provide accommodations but the website after applying says they provide everything..flight, hotel, meal card, ground transportation to the training facility. Maybe they meant no transportation to this event but they WILL for the real training in Minneapolis.

    • @Destininicole417
      @Destininicole417  4 года назад +1

      tiffany jackson unfortunately with this industry from the moment of application nothing is 100% guaranteed, and it is really a gamble. I say that because there are situations like this depending on the airline where they have extensive portions of the interview process. I was told the same thing as well as having to cover my own travel arrangements. If you truly have the time to take away from your normal daily life and the money to travel I would say do it because at that point what do you have to lose? and if you don’t walk home with a CJO you can’t say you didn’t try 😊

      kayla jacobs I apologize for my late reply!! Each airline is different as far as the time line. However my personal experience, I waited about 3 months from the day of my conditional job offer to the first day of training :)

      Julie Gutierrez hi there! Best of luck to you during training, study every minute that you have available! I was dismissed and was told I did not pass a 100 question exam with a 90% instead I scored a 88% so for this they let me go. I lost my lifeline because on the first day I scored around a 80% or higher on that exam (can’t remember off the top of my head) but that was my one and only retake.

    • @juliegutierrez8669

      I think they are intimidating and i just got an invite to NYC to group interview (endeavor) I live in S Florida so, flight and hotel is expensive. My problem is I have 2 visible tattoos , wrist and finger... Not sure I should go..... They make it so hard for us!

    • @Destininicole417
      @Destininicole417  4 года назад +1

      Jess Jones Trust me there is no one who understands this more. I just got my second tattoo (definitely visible and my biggest one yet) so I know with that I have more less let my dream go.. I do see overtime tattoos becoming more normalized, as nose piercings (in other unrelated companies) are starting to allow this. Personally I don’t see how tattoos invalidates a persons work ethic you could be an amazing employee and still have an entire sleeve lol. This is just my opinion. But I will tell you almost all airlines do not allow visible tattoos even if you put makeup on. If you do decide to go best of luck 😊
