VIDEO INFORMATION
The Changeling Season 1 was a pretty good fairytale mystery, with a lot of twists and turns, but one heck of a honestly frustrating cliffhanger ending. What’s with Apollo, William, that giant eyeball?! And no, it’s not the Vegas sphere. Obviously you clicked this video hoping for any sort of information on a Season 2, so no worries, we’re going to talk about all of the rumors, theories we have for season 2, and some book spoilers that may fill in what is missing.
I’m JBuck, Welcome to JBuck Studios. We’re going to get into all of that, so thanks for stopping by and watching.
So at the time of writing and editing this, there is no official word on a season 2, heart breaking I know, only rumors here or there, with the showrunner of the series specifically mentioning “Season 1” in a behind the scenes video Which feels a bit odd if a season 2 or multiple seasons are not planned out.
Now with the way the finale ends, there’s sorta three big things that are going to be covered in season 2. Emma and her own adventures into the fairytale wilderness, William, because he is no doubt still alive, his nefarious motives, and whatever the heck that bigass creature in the cave is, and third and final Apollo, his discovery of baby Brian, and his own journey into fairytale wilderness to find Emma.
One theory I am still sticking to, hoping it comes true in season 2, is that Apollo is actually a God. We’ve already talked about all of the signs of this in previous breakdowns, but in the finale there are a couple more pieces of evidence to back up this “I am the God Apollo” theory. The little girl calls Apollo a superhero, with him recovering from what looked like a massive fall. But during this he hears Emma’s voice saying “You don’t see, but you will”. I see this as two things. One is that he’ll find out about baby Brian, which happens at the end of the finale. But I also think Emma’s hinting that he’s going to discover even more about himself. He is more than man, a superhero, the sun God Apollo. There’s too many allusions and comparisons to Greek mythology for this NOT to happen, but let me know in the comments if I’m reaching too far with this theory.

*What did you think of THE CHANGELING Season 1, do you want a Season 2, and should they steer WAY more into the fairytale lore of everything?... Also I've been under the weather, so hopefully my voice comes through fine*
The show runner specifically mentioning season 1 does not mean there will be a season 2. Case in point the movie The Last Airbender was going to be a three part movie but it never happened. If season 1 did not get the ratings there will be no season 2. Humans can't give birth to Gods so Apollo can only be a demigod which is sincerely doubt. So as many time he has called himself the God Apollo he is not him.
I wonder if season 2 is going to use storylines from the author/ the narrator's other books. Would make sense, since Little Norway has been mentioned in his other works. Check out The Ballad of Black Tom. Thanks for your theories 😊

I feel like there are some things still missing what about Emma’s sister to me it seems she was familiar with the wise ones she took a picture of the island pushing emma into the water asking her what if she can’t get back? I thought only the wise ones can see the island?Did the same thing happen to her sister? Also what does the witch in Brazil have anything to do with this story? Just something I caught onto I thought Emma last wish was to be a goddess to Protect her family her best friend Michelle also said that she looks like a goddess in that picture in Norway and it unsettled her and I find it weird that the same hue of blue aura Emma has is the same blue from the witch’s eye…I haven’t nor plan on reading the book but feel like there is way more to be explained lol guess I’ll wait for season two
I read the book and watched the series. But I may have missed the part in the book -does Apollo receive a box from his dad when he was 12 in the book also?
He received a box, not sure what year, but the “improbabilia” box lines up
I loved this book so yes I do want a season two, because LaValle left the reader with a lot to think about and I’d love to see that develop
They basically took a very long chapter ans split it in 4. I can tell you in the book, this is when it really get good and ties everything up. Because I know what it is the eye surprised me but anything possible 😂

Everything about the red string is the same. Basically it’s taking tradition/fairytale from Brazilian culture. Kids needed to be “good” keeping the string on. They are chosen because they would typically post picks of their babies to social media, therefore a “window” into their lives was ope

@@Sammy-cm9ce The red string is not connected. The reason the mother's babies were stolen is because of social media. They could easily search through picture after picture, deciding what mothers would be easiest to steal the babies from

I will NEVER forgive Apple TV if there isn’t at least 3 seasons of The Changeling. This season 1 finale is up there with a Game of Thrones series finale in regards to disappointments😩

Worse portrayal of a book on screen ever 😂. They can keep season 2. The last three episodes were horrible when you put their work together.
The first three episodes are a great introduction and sets up the mystery, but WOW does it do a complete 180 with the final three episodes like you said

There is NO evidence of a season 2!! Why are you doing this?…..the author doesn’t care about our displeasure, only about the trickery of us, the audience believing this whole disjointed, silly series would lead to a second season…which it won’t……
The writer and producers get their money bait and switch…they make their millions and we get mediocrity……and trust me, they don’t give a sh#t about the lack of closure ……I guarantee, NO season 2!
Bro this is an Apple TV original, not a Netflix one… Apple doesn’t just throw away shows. There’s literally no reason NOT to put out more seasons.
