That irritates me why the blue one is the rare chase variant when that’s the color of the character I remember the most as do others so I’m going to be hunting for the blue one and if I see only a red one I’ll get it because it is a dope looking figure and a must have for my 90s Knightfall nostalgia
Knightfall, Death of Superman, Spider-Man: The Clone Saga, and X-Men: Age of Apocalypse were the stories that got me into comics.

I have such a connection to the storylines just like you said. The overly 90s design of this character is one of the reasons I love it so much. I completely agree with you on the color choice as well. I would say the majority of people would want Blue and keeping it as a platinum makes it so much harder for people to get. I want to get both colors myself, but if I had to pick one, it'd be blue.

The blue one is a random edition, either you find it at your local store or pray the online seller packs it in your order.

The only logical answer for the shortage on purpose (especially on the most wanted ones as platinum) can only be that the Toddfather is unofficially very active in the scalper-market himself, no other answer makes sense! So lookout for a "Mac Fartoddlane" (Wink-Smiley) at the scalper-market who is selling the Anne Hathaway Catwoman or the new blue Azbat for double, triple, quadruple the price: Brave New (extremely expensive if you can't resist) Todd(scalper)father World! Sad...
P.S.: iMHO the Mattel ones from back in the day are still better (even nowadays they can give Rokkon from MOTU Origins the shiny metallic finish the Toddfather has economized on Steel: Shame!)
