Here's hope Todd does a '2.0' version of Knightfall Azbat just like you said and this time with accurate colors and wider release so everyone can get it.
Once I customized my Walmart blue version to the correct colors and details, he really blew me away. I have them both, and I like my blue version better.
I wasn't collecting when the Walmart Azrael was available and it was always a grail figure for me. Then last week I saw it NIB at my local comic store and got it for a great price, nowhere near the insane prices I have seen online. The next day I went to Target to grab some groceries and as usual I had to stop by the toys before I left. Then as if the Toy Gods were directing me I see only one Mcfarlane on the peg. It was the Platinum Knightsend Azrael. I was in shock that it was just sitting there because I had searched every Target I could for weeks when it first came out. So I just stopped looking and it found me.
Man. I really like the sculpt tweaks McFarlane made to the original AzBats suit (insanely expensive as it is the Mafex is generally closer to the comic, YMMV on which you prefer) but the colors making it look like the figure had been left by a window for three months sank the ship for me. A darn shame because the blue used on the chase version of the Knightsend AzBats would have worked *perfectly* for the Batman #500 costume.
I was lucky enough to get two of the exclusives and love that light shade of blue much better than the blue thats on the new chase. I love the Red, EE just shipped my two out today, I'm hoping they throw in a chase as I've not seen any in stores in NC. Red should've been exclusive and blue should've been the standard one.
I love this figure & gave it a 9/10 & totally would've gotten a 10/10 with a 2nd pair of open clawed hands! Still an excellent figure especially the (Blue) Platinum Edition!!
the armor was burned during their bridge encounter- why it turned red - that features the Azrael color scheme underneath the blue paint - but his "cape" should not be mechanical - over detailing from McKenner 😀 - but good rendition from them - great review and comparison
Others have said it before but Imma say it again: I’ve watched you as far back as Black Spider David back in 2007-2008 trashing on the big headed Burger King Spider Man movie toy for not being able to put the mask on, the Billy Idol Dancing w/ Myself intro song, and the Transformers review on your previous DARKSPIDERDAVID channel
The design is pretty cool, but i think that this red does not work with grey, gold, and white. I would have thought about getting this if the whole suit was black and symbol and belt was gold
Walmart didn't give us nothen they where never on shelves specifically where I live Illinois I'm starting too get sick and tired of them DC multiverse figures it's like their starting too get hard too pre-order SCALPER and never on shelves SCALPERS an their not being put on shelves specifically at Walmart 💯

Question( no hate ) why’d you quit marvel legends but not McFarland toys, yeah Hasbro gives us some crappy figures sometimes but most of the time with McFarland it’s bad articulation and the only thing you get is a trading card and stand most the time. People it’s my opinion don’t rip on me
I also buy more mcfarlane now and not legends as much because for me, they are the same price point, but McF is bigger, so i feel i get more of my money's worth, especially when 80% of the time, theyre new sculpts. I dont feel like im buying blank body sculpts with different paintjobs all the time like i feel with legends most the time.
You realize that a person can't rotate their arms 360° right? So who cares if it can't rotate all the way around? People are going to be posing in ways a person can move and pose... When you can rotate your head and arms 360° then let me know... This is the one thing I either don't get or just drives me crazy with articulation freaks... The only articulation that matters is being able to get in real life poses.... No wonder why Todd doesn't understand articulation freaks. You can never make them happy. Even though they can move and pose like a real person, they're not happy because they want to be able to rotate 360° no matter what and if it doesn't check off that box then they freak out.... I know you didn't freak out that much, but considering that you had to take time out to talk about instead of just saying it doesn't matter because a person can't rotate like that in real life anyways so who cares...

I was able to find the blue version of the Knightsend Batman at my LCS. I haven’t opened it yet, but damn, it looks great!
