As a collector who only gets the Batmen he likes I'm totally fine with them using one of their best bucks for my childhood Batman. Especially with the dope cape.

@@yaitsenko The bucky cap mold is unproportional, has gummy joints, Lowered shoulders that humans don't have and any figure that uses it has minimal paint.
Batman: The Brave and the Bold was one of my favorite Batman cartoon series growing up and this figure is a good representation of that series. It was an instant pick-up for me.
I'm totally fine with it. As they say, don't fix what is not broken. The body buck is the best there is. The reuse also allows Mcfarlane to profit and create more figures that are less well-known.
I mean... its still the best body the Multiverse team has made for Batman, and I'd rather them have a solid consistent Batman body while they make new bodies for other characters. McFarlane can still spam Batman releases, but not take away from every other character by only focusing on Batman
I ordered it. I don't care. That's MY Batman. I'm an old guy. I would return it if the face was smudged like that upon delivery. Great video. Like #112... Bat Toast
Kinda like when Todd created that Shazam 2 pack it sucked bad but I bought it too get Mr.Mind that's the only way too get that caterpillar you can't even buy him loose
@PencilFan-hj3lo that sucks for those who want an accurate representation of specific source material though, like this buck will never pass as a long Halloween or Dark Knight Returns Batman comics version. Plus the buck is really not that amazing, it's OK, but articulation and proportions could be way better.
It doesn't bother me because I don't need to collect every Batman. I just get the ones that interest me. I was mildly interested in this, but that's as far as it went. It's a decent buck and if it helps get variants out that people actually want, then go ahead with the re-use. I/we have no obligation to buy them...
I don't pickup everything mcfarlane makes so I'm not tired of this buck. I love this Figure and sure i wish the dog came with some articulation but since it's under 25 I'll take it as is.
You can’t release a figure with a dog with no articulation when hasbro has a whole fucking zoo of well articulated animals on the pegs right next to this
I would've liked to seen a different buck with a Golden age look to it. That could've been used on the Fleischer Superman as well and other true golden age characters.
I've cleaned up my bane 2 pack Batman and plan to swap this silver age head, neck and diaper for a brave and the bold bats. I just need a hush on this buck and an Alex Ross Batman on the earth 2 buck and I'll be done with comic batmen.
I'm ok with that buck because I pick and choose I don't buy whole waves no more unless I have too like with this bundle just buy too get certain figures like that Batman i bought the bundle too get ace the bat hound and that reissue of that Page puncher Noir batman with the new cloth cape
Thanks for the review! Question is the gray color a match for the Black Variant suit? I would like to do some kitbashing, but that would be the only reason for me to buy this figure. If the greys do not match, I’m not repainting. thanks!!
I don't think the body reuse is that bad because I feel like it's a perfect fit for Bruce Wayne aka Batman but I much understand that it's over used because I do like the blue/yellow and black/yellow Knightfall Batman single releases.
Speaking of Silver Age, I did got the very last Mcfarlane Toys Digital Silver Age Joker at my own local Gamestop because I needed him in his more iconic classic look more than the Clown from Three Jokers, Also Silver Age Batman looks great 10/10 for me👌👏.
I'm sick of the Knightfall body buck. I honestly wish they would re-tool the Hush body buck and make it so the neck peg and head sculpt aren't one piece and we can get a cloth wired cape. I know that buck is massive but honestly, it's my favorite Batman buck.
Sorry, unless they make a new buck that has a better ab crunch then I'd rather them use this buck other than say Hush or whatever else. As of the this moment Mcf just doesn't seem to care for good ab crunch aside from the Kilmer and BvS Batman.
Mixed feelings. Yes, I get tired of the same buck every other figure, but some of the final results rock! This one with the cape and dog looks great, so I am sort of understanding of why McFarlane would save production money, when there is a nice, generic buck that can work for so many variants. It just makes business sense. BUT, I still get a little annoyed. Trust me, he has to be working on a new base body that he can then, bleed to death and leave this one for rarer, future appearances. So, basically, it may be annoying, but it is understandable.
With the reuse of body bucks company's do, The price for the figure should be a little cheaper because nothing was spent on making it. We are at CRITICAL with the reuse. I like a Mcfarlane but they worry me as in the Pins for the Joints are seriously dated now. What will happen when he switchs to Pinless Joints? Is he gonna rerelease everything again with the updated joint system?
I'm not the biggest Batman fan so McFarlane hit "critical mass" about 20 Batman figures ago! There are so many more characters that I would love to see other than Batman🤷🏽♂️

Silver age was 68 or so through 83 I think
Silver age started in the late 50's
1956 to 1970
I hate the baby blue they use, its too light

I really personally don't feel like any figures need pinless joints unless they have multi-color designs on the arms, like spider-man or nightwing.
