I'm sure Harley had many wonderful walks and adventures with you and your family. Sorry he's not there with you but I know he had a great, long life. I'm glad you got the Nest. The bugs have been terrible here this year and there is always that ONE mosquito keeping me awake.

Wendy, I'm very sorry to hear about Harley. After having a cat for 17 years, I completely understand what you mean about still expecting to see them in their usual places around the house. And I was surprised how long that lasted. Having lots of adventures to look forward to will help, I think. Condolences and best wishes to you.

What a fine furry friend Harley has been, and I suspect he enjoyed his time with you and your family very much. Nature, being in the outdoors at times of grief and recovery helps a lot I have found. It can really tune you into that mystery and magic that exists in the world ... (in the way that five minutes of scrolling daily news can leave you feeling despair). Wishing you and your family lots of beautiful and gentle happy memories as you begin this next chapter.
