Such a shame Really looks well designed as installs go👍 BUT! Disconnecting the mount and bending hoses in half to remove oil filled Can makes this a missed home run. I’ve had catch cans on all my Rods Roush / Vettes with easily hand spinning the can off
Can you please make a video on installing the Ford Perimeter Security System for Mustang Owners, I’m a 2023 owner . And I would like to learn how to install it especially to use remote start since I don’t have it on my Mustang GT
I would say it helps with fuel octane rating. Port injection does not need catch can. What catch can does for port injection is improve the fuel rating because there’s no contaminant.
You said if it is a daily drive you need only the clean side but pointed to the passenger side, when I follow the clean side link it is the can on the drivers side?? Can you confirm which P/N is needed if only using one. Thanks!
@@Woosta13 Passenger side is the PCV side and the driver side is the crankcase vent side / clean side. The PCV side is the primary and most important catch can to install. The driver side is for Mustangs that will see wide open throttle for long periods of time ( like track days ). The driver side is optional for a daily, and you may not see much in the driver side versus the passenger side.
There is no added stress on the intake hose connector to ease your mind. All the fittings can be rotated in the hoses to allow a relaxed connection. We always leave a bit of free play to allow all connections to seal 100% and have no stress on them. This UPR Catch Can kit for the 2024 Mustang also comes with UPR Quick Release Knobs to make them super easy to service anytime. Also, the patented oil coalescing filtration system is a multistage system that hands down does the very best job at protecting the engine from all the oil that gets sucked through the PCV system.

I like the Ford ones myself and even though they are a bit pricy they mount much better.
Would it be better just to spend the money and get the ford ones?
@@lonelyboy2467I have had 2 different brands not to be mentioned but the Ford ones fit 100% better and that's why I have them installed.
@dougwatson6406 thanks so much I’m just gonna end up getting the ford ones do you know if it voids the warranty if I put them in myself?
@@lonelyboy2467 Not that I'm aware of because but you can always put it back to the original in less then 30 minutes if you run into an issue.
Will the clean side catch can fit if you have the strut stabilizing bar going across the engine?
It does but you have to remove it to install. I just did it.
What’s the point of a catch can if the engine in the new mustang has port and direct injection?
I would say it helps with fuel octane rating. Port injection does not need catch can. What catch can does for port injection is improve the fuel rating because there’s no contaminant.
My question why Ford not did this ? If its so good for the engine

My apologies on that one! You'll want the driver side!
@@cjponyparts NP, thank you!

What size bolt did you use to replace the OEM bolt on the driver side
All the hardware is included in the kit!
Why is it not CARB for Cali?
Cause Cali sucks
It looks good but I would think there would be a lot of stress on the air intake hose connector on the driver's side

Question does this void your warranty on the car?
If so is it just better to get the ones from ford so you don’t void your warranty?
just take them out before dealer visits
Ford does not think it’s necessary
Dirty side.
