Can't stress enough how good the UPR dual valve W/css catch can is . I installed one on my 2014 F150 Tremor with the 3.5 Ecoboost . The amount of Oil/fuel/condensation it traps is incredible.

I have one on my 2022 Ranger 2.3L Eco Boost from day one . In Southern Ontario Canada because of the cold winters I insulated the hoses to stop the condensate from freezing . . I installed a tap and plastic drain tube on the can for easy emptying . It works great . Needs emptying more in cold weather.

I had a cheaper catch can on my Whipple 22GT and noticed oil in the hose but none In the can, bought a UPR from Lethal and every 1k-2k check it and there's been oil in it every time. Took my lid off and there was oil all in it! Bottom line get the UPR catch can upfront

@Leathal Performance is there a dedicated video for the dual valve catch can on a coyote mustang with a procharger? Procharger advised to cap pcv on the passenger side, is that the best option for drivability and longevity? Cannot find a dedicated video for the dual valve/coyote/procharger set up. There is a lot of debate on what works and what is best but no dedicated video. Thank you sir

Have this on my ZL1 and love it. So easy to benefit from it.

I've just had one of these arrive and installed it on my 16 GT. What I am trying to figure out is, are the coalescing elements supposed to be for the inlet or outlet of the can? Mine is one of the cans without a top fitting and both fittings were black.

I had a billet technology can on my hellcat and just got the upr for my Redeye. I got the pro series check valve but I can't for the life of me get it off. Any pointers?

I ordered a UPR catch can with the Pro Series check valve and one-way crankcase breather. Is that the correct setup for a naturally aspirated 7.3L Godzilla gas engine? (no supercharger)

DO LOCKTITE THE DRAIN VALVE HANDLE SCREW.
Vibration will cause it to back out and fall off, and parts are not available, requiring the purchase of a new valve.
    Cheers, Tony

I ordered their plug & play oil catch can for my 21 mustang gt. Got excited to install it today. Opened the box and the goddamn mounting bracket was missing. I'm pissed I can't install it today. Now I gotta contact them. Called and their voice-mail is full
Also ordered their check valve filter for the crankcase fill port. Has shown a tracking for a week now yet it still says UPS hasn't received the product. I even ordered directly from UPR. Such bullshit
Edit: just realized they ALSO left out the washer and the damn screw down nut to keep the catch can secured on the bracket.

*UPDATE* I forgot to come back & post this.......
I emailed them & very next day their customer service got back with me and asked me for a pic of what I received. Emailed them back a pic of missing bracket. They sent the bracket out the very next day!
Finally got to install it today and damn I like this one so much more than the J&L piece. Also installed their breather cap that twists on where the oil fill cap goes
      Thank you UPR!!

Cause it’ll keep the backside of your valves clean on the LT based engines.

Won’t this void a auto or truck warranty? My brother-in-law had a Ford Dealer refuse to honor a warranty issue on his F-250 with this contraption in place….

    • @gittyupalice96

Its their priority to find any possible excuse to void the warranty. This does not harm the vehicle in any way, its the same thing as a police officer pulling you over because your windows are tinted.

Nobody wants a catch can where you have to completely disconnect all the lines to the can to empty the can

  • @rickmassey1272
    @rickmassey1272 Год назад +1

Talk about Overkill...just get a normal catch can that unscrews for emptying and you'll be fine.

@@Lethalcamp I beg to differ. He did not explain why its needed. Only explained the upgrade and its serviceable. I have a catch can with a blower without check valve and want to know why its needed. Thanks.

@@zakhoch my apologies as I for some reason thought it was mentioned. Thanks for the heads up!
On a supercharger like a on the GT 500, Roush, or Whipple you won’t have boost pressure at the vacuum port, but when the throttle slams shut after WOT, you may get some reversion. The check valve makes sure that does not reach the catch can.

    • @zakhoch

@@Lethalcamp Thanks for the reply. Thats the best explanation do far. I'll have to invest in a valve.

@3:46 you speak of magnets...lol 😆😆😆 if you have metal in your catch can it's because your motor blew up. I doubt if metal is going to float threw a pcv valve like oil vapers.
