I add one cup of fat free milk, one banana, one table spoon of peanut butter, one scoop of protein powder and fill the rest with old fashioned oatmeal. In that exact order. Then I use my Helimix Vortex Blender Shaker 28oz to blend everything. I shake it enough to leave a thick shake I don't like liquidy ones. Someone may say that's not how you make protein shakes but that's how I drink mine

@@Jenysuffrin milk is a good liquid to mix whey protein with!! but i recommend for the best results to use a fat free / unsweetened milk. i’m not a professional but i’m saying all that from MY experience. you can either use milk and the powder or you can make a full shake using milk, powder and add ingredients like banana, ice etc
i personally just use water and 100% whey protein powder post workouts (after my workouts)
you can also mix with foods like green yogurt, oats etc
tho i recommend googling what best fits your goals (weight loss, weight gain, muscle gain, weight loss AND muscle gain) those type of things

Use water and almond milk if you're trying to lose weight.
Use dairy milk if you're trying to gain weight. (Add a banana and a spoon of PB, more protein and delicious)

You can drink it like that, if you put more water it’ll just change the favor. The more you put the water, the less you’ll have the vanilla flavor or whatever flavor you choose

Water is used because it digests faster hence regaining lost energy quicker than compared to milk which takes longer time to digest.

@@habibi8488 ohhh... I used bcaa powder scoop (1 gram). But the whey powder is already too much (aka taste just about right) with 6 heaping scoops of bcaa scoop (6-7 grams in weight). Or is it still not enough? Sorry I'm newbie here.

I don't understand, looks like I put too much powder for a serving. I'm using 1 gram scoop (not original) for Isocool whey that has 26 gram per serving. And my whey powder is running out quickly. Is this normal or too much?

@JFLG 764 protein is what your muscles needs to recover. Depending on you it might fill you up a lot so you don't want to be in the gym with a full stomach.
@JFLG 764 if it says isolate protein powder or 100% whey powder that's the most concentrated you can get I believe. I buy Optimum Nutrition like the one you see in the video. Everything can be faked so it depends where you buy it

It’s protien powder good for pre and post workout for big muscle gain , muscles also burn extra calories while resting , so I guess you can say you’ll lose fat with it as well , but not directly

With milk it takes while(2-3h) aborsb it but water about 10-30min u can feel it the gas already pushing your stomach. Best way is to mix between water and milk and prefer 60%milk no fat and 40% water. that way u can save some money too or u can take 2 shakes one with milk no fat and one with water. sry my english typing at 1 am.
