I think a more useful measure would be cost per gram of protein. Serving size and number varies so widely that its not a fair comparison for high % and low % proteins.
Dymatize is expensive, unless you find the periodic Amazon price of $66 for 70+ servings. This price has really worked for me. 2.5 month supply, and it goes on sale for $66 more often than that.
Yup, the cost is the ONLY real reason this didn't rank higher on the tier list. It's an excellent protein. And when I say price, it's just the price variability. You can find such a huge range.
I’m so glad someone finally made a video like this! I hate buying stuff when I don’t know what it’s like, and this really helps the decision making process! I had two things I wanted to mention - 1. Premier Protein has protein powders you can mix into a shake; not just the RTD containers. Their vanilla has been a staple of mine for over a year now. It’s super cheap (I think) and I personally really like the flavor 2. And speaking of flavor, I’ve heard horrific things about the MyProtein flavors SPECIFICALLY in the states. Anything from it just tastes bad to it used to be really good but now tastes like chemicals - it’s made it really hard to want to commit to it. Just figured I’d put that out there But thank you again for making this video!
Appreciate the love, man. Thank you. And ya, Premier Protein does have whey powder, I just haven't tried it yet. Is it good? It seems like it has a lower percentage of protein of calories (80%). I haven't tried a lot of MyProtein flavors, but the one I tried was fine. Someone else in the comments mentioned they tried a bunch of flavors and really enjoyed some of them. ONe was a bit "chemically", but the others seemed decent. Taste is just a really hard thing to review. Everyone is different.
@@feast_good of course! It’s got 150 Calories, 30g protein, 1g sugar, and 2g of fat (1g saturated) So with Premiere, the vanilla can vary on versatility (chocolate lends itself better to more niche uses) but just as a shake it’s perfectly fine, especially on a budget. It doesn’t have the same cake-ish taste I would say PEScience vanilla has, it’s almost more of a darker flavor (idk how else to describe it) while still being just sweet enough (I don’t like super sweet proteins all the time). On a scale from 1-Ryse, I would say a 5 or 6. I found it to be best when mixed with some cinnamon and refrigerated for a few hours; it completely smooths out the texture and tastes really close to PEScience snickerdoodle. It’s also lends itself incredibly well to protein smoothies. I’ve used it to recreate Smoothie Kings gladiator recipe and I think it even tastes better. If you’re doing more niche things like the Ninja Creami ice creams or baking stuff, it can be hit or miss. It’s definitely designed for shakes and smoothies, but it can definitely be used for other things if needed. It’s just not optimal in my opinion. But for $25 a tub, ($1.08 an ounce) and for being incredibly commercially available, I’d say it’s worth it, for beginners especially, but maybe not necessary for more intermediate protein consumers But sorry for yapping, hopefully this answers anything you were wondering😂
@@feast_good The chocolate premier protein powder is really good tasting and not overly sweet. Vanilla tastes alright, but its not good for a vanilla flavor in my opinion. I usually just mix a scoop of each
I’m a member of a site you have to pay to access called consumerlab that did test protein powders. They said that all of them they tested were actually accurate.
So I just came to US like a month ago and realised that people promote brands just based on what they say on labes, I mean dude how do you know that it’s accurate without a lab test? Back in India we have lots of companies fooling people and there are people who post their individual lab tests online on yt, I don’t see that here lol
I 100% agree with you. And ya, the only thing that brings down Dymatize on this list is really the price discrepancies. I don't want people to think that it's not high quality, it really is. If you can find it for cheaper then it's definitely a top pick. But, Transparent Labs is my current favorite/go-to and I really like PEScience for baking/mixing in with food.
@@feast_good I haven't tried many brands, but in my opinion Rule 1 has really good mixability and that's a win for me. Both the Isolate version and the Whey Blend version. I hate having to use a shaker bottle every time, especially on MuscleTech Isowhey
I feel vindicated! I've been using Gold Standard for years. Granted, I dont just throw my powder in a shaker, I add bananas, raw honey, raw oats, peanut butter and plain yogurt into mine and hit it with the blender, so flavor has never really been a problem for my shakes. The handful of times I've had GS by itself, I've found the rich chocolate flavor was delicious.
If you ever want to change it up, sub that yogurt for cottage cheese. Same exact consistency (the curds will be smoothed with blending) and it gets rid of that tangy yogurt taste which sometimes I don't love. Also super healthy 😁
Its crazy how expensive Protein powder has come in the last 5-10 years unfortunately like everything else. I personally use ISO 100. I aim for 1-2 scoops a day. I've used O/N Whey dozens of if times in the past and even Isopure ready to drink coconut protein flavor which i love but its ridiculously expensive 🫰.
I just buy nutricost unflavored isolate and add a tbsp of nesquik. 30g protein / 130 Cals / scoop, mixes great and super cheap. All this branding and flavor stuff is ridiculous
There are definitely better ones out there now, but we all have to recognize ON's impact on the industry. It should still be considered by many people as a protein to take.
I would rank Dymatize higher. 71 scoops for $95 on vitamin shoppe $1.35 a scoop and Vitamin Shoppe normally runs 20% online quite often. Seems to be a great option!
I ran ISOPURE for a couple years (because of the added micronutrients), then switched to Dymatize and fell in love sometime in 2020. They frequently go on sale on Amazon which makes it in my opinion the best when it comes to flavors, mixability and protein ratios. However, whenever I am on an aggressive cut I find myself doing 3-4 scoops of whey every day so the cost ends up destroying me if I run it longer than just a few months. On my most recent cut I switched over to COSTCO's Whey. It tastes okay, definitely not the best I have ever tried but the cost per scoop is insanely low. $47 for a massive 5.5lb bag so it's a no brainer cost-wise. My favorite flavor of all time was the ISO 100 Orange Dreamsicle. Holy smokes is it the most delicious protein I ever had. I loved mixing it with oats and berries as a quick pre workout snack. It will always have my heart.
This video is excellent bro. What do you think about nutriticost? Thank you for the information about the percentages of actual protein in the products
You know what? A LOT of people have been asking for a review on Nutricost. I plan on making a dedicated video. I'm still in the process of testing it, so I don't want to say anything before reviewing it fully.
Crazy that core nutritionals, and nutrabio, two brands that pride themselves on transparency, non-proprietary blends, and effective dosages aren't on here. Easily god tier.
Nutrabio isolate strawberry ice cream is one of the best flavors I've ever tasted. Like melted ice cream. You may also be interested in magnum nutraceuticals. Their original flavors are amazing. It's a blend of 4 isolates.
@@anthonygomez472 interested in trying nutrabio, do you usually just mix it with water? i'm typically one to make a full on meal out of my shakes and am looking to cut down to a more simple intake. vanilla flavor doesn't cut it for me in only water
Great list overall, but Dymatize Iso-100 should be higher, the only real knock against it is the price point. Used to find it at Sam's club for less than $1 per scoop, now even the 5lb tub is around $1.30. Though i will say the Fruity Pebbles flavor is worth every penny 🤤🤤 I do have a bit of a gripe with the consistency of the list though. Case in point: The Premier protein RTD's were "Rough Reps" mainly due to price point, yet Thorne was put in Protein Paradise despite the knock against it being price point and flavor profile. Curious as to the reasoning behind that. Edit: Forgot to mention Pure Protein really should be at the bottom. I know the plus to it was that it's available at Walmart and such, but Optimum Nutrition and dymatize are also available at Walmart and for roughly the same price. Given that optimum nutrition and dymatize and other better brands are widely available, the availability of pure protein really is irrelevant. The Pure Protein bars though are S Tier as far as value goes, i eat those daily.
great overview - i usually skip around in these videos to get to the point, but i found everything you said to be valuable and watched all the way through. i would just recommend upgrading the mic setup since the audio was very peaky and harsh to listen to
A couple things: -It doesn't have 3rd party testing. They do their own "quality assurance testing" in house, but since it's not 3rd party tested, you really don't know how biased their testing protocols are. -They use soy lecithin and xanthan gum for texture and mixability. This isn't a drawback for some people, but for me, I prefer something without these additives. -There was nothing wrong with the chocolate flavor that I tried. But was it the best chocolate flavor I've ever had? Nah. It was mid. -Plus, it's not the cheapest protein, between $1.58 and $2.28 per serving, which is above the average cost of around $1.34. Most good protein powders are above the average, so I can't knock the price too much, but it's just another thing to consider int terms of being mid.
@@feast_goodwait, in the vid you said you were “blown away” by the flavor…. Did you accidentally overhype it or can mid flavors blow you away? I’ve never tried, I’m just genuinely confused
No it is not the cleanest by far. They use an emulsifier, soy lechitin. Transparent Labs is cleaner and also has 28g vs Isopure’s 25g. Transparent Labs uses zero emulsifiers. Four ingredients for Transparent Labs and a whole list of ingredients for Isopure…. I don’t need my protein to be a multivitamin.

Muscle milk, tastes so fucking good. The sludge is basically chocolate pudding. I understand not getting it because of carbs/fat but you can’t deny the taste.
Would be nice to have a review on protein concentrate and isolate separately and, secondly, to have a review based on the quality of protein (objectively, like lab tested)v price - disregarding how good or bad different tastes are or whether a scoop is attached. This one, I found to be very subjective
Ya, you're right, but there's just so many brands that mix isolate and concentrate, and don't tell consumers in their marketing. So I think for the average consumer, when someone sees "whey protein" they don't know the difference between isolate and concentrate and they just assume it's all the same.
@ true, but then if you manage to make a systematic comparison, it would be even more valuable. ) May be, (1) concentrate (2) mix (3) isolate - and an introduction describing benefits and disadvantages of each type. Just a thought.) Good luck!
Glad I watched this. I was just about to buy some Muscle Milk today because it's fairly cheap out here right now. I'll take my time and I plan on getting the best top-tier protein powder for me, instead of flocking to a cheap yet popular brand which is a waste of money overall
How does this guy not have more subs?!? Underrated channel. So much time, effort, and energy put into your videos. Super informative. No frills - straight to the point!
It's branded as a meal replacement and a different product than a traditional "protein powder." It doesn't really fall within the scope of this video. I honestly can't speak to it because I just haven't tried it. How do you like it?
I think Optimum should've been middle of the whey while Isopure either protein paradise or king of gains but I may be biased due to sensitivity to lactose. Transparent labs is great but a bit pricey, really like the chocolate peanut butter. I get vanilla isopure from Costco so it's more cost effective.
Ya, isopure could have gone either way. A lot of people think it should have been one tier higher. Perhaps it should have. Somewhere else in the comments I explain my ratianole a bit more. And I just dropped a dedicated video on isopure if you want to check it out.
I never understood the protein per gram scoop ratio issue. The more the ratio, the worse the taste. You’re still getting the same amount of protein as others.. assuming it’s not spiked, 25 grams is 25 grams. Regardless of the scoop size
Can you do best protein powders that were tested for heavy metals? I know Naked does this and numbers are near nill. Does transparent labs give out the heavy metals test numbers?
Yes, Transparent Labs gives you those numbers with every protein bottle you buy. You can access it off the website. As for a "best protein powder without heavy metals", I've had a lot of requests for something like that. Would you want to see me send a bunch of these protein powders away for testing? How would I validate the results?
I think showing the amount of protein you get per dollar would have helped show the price disparity between some of these better. For example, ON is about $1.01 per serving vs PEScience's $1.27. That doesn't look like a huge difference until you realize that's 23.68 grams per dollar vs 18.86.
@@feast_goodThe only problem with price per serving is each brand has different amounts of protein per serving. Price per gram of protein provides a more consistent measurement of cost across brands.
Loved the video. Thank you for your time and experience. You missed my brand from Equate which is Walmart's brand and a very common and inexpensive version here in the USA. If you ever add a remake, please consider adding Equate Whey Protein. Thank you. Still a terrific video 👍🏽
Thanks, appreciate those kind words. I'm familiar with Equate, I've just never tried it personally, which is why it wasn't on the list. I'll definitely find some time to buy and test it though and include it in the next one.
My boy didn't put the perfect sports - new Zealand diesel whey isolate. That is the best bang for buck. Especially when you get in a deal. Also it has 27g of protein with only 30g of scoop size. The ones that he showed most of them has 25g of protein with scoop size of 35g to 45g is some cases, which is bizarre. 😅😅
Yeah silly. All of his points are good for it. Then he goes on to talk about Impact having loads of artificial sweeteners and such and puts it higher for seemingly no reason
Definitely let me know how you like Transparent Labs. If you want recommendations on flavors, check out my other video: ruclips.net/video/4Ll1r9PBoQM/видео.html
Putting ISOpure in the middle blow Gold Standard......... big yikes! I think its wrong to put price as a factor for ranking. Are you going to put a Ferrari 499 mid tier because of price? No. you rank purely based on product. ISO pure has a ratio of 1.24 and Gold Standard is 1.26 WITHOUT the mild multi-vitamin.
You can get my protein powder for 60 cents per scoop easily! Get 5.5lb whey isolate, apply a code from a content creator like MAXE, sometimes there's free shipping otherwise it'll be 70 cents per scoop. You'll get 81 servings at 60-70 cents per scoop.
Don’t forget to include quality filtration process and heavy metal percentage, I know it takes research but as a Biotech engineer, I had to mention it.
I've never heard of performix before. "Timed release" is just marketing speak. It looks like it has whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate. So the "time release" must just mean that the whey protein concentrate digests slower because it has a few extra carbs. My gut feeling is that this protein isn't that good, but like I said, I haven't tried it.
@@feast_good excellent reason. I was about to try it this week as I’ve seen mostly overwhelming reviews. So many people have it ranked over transparent labs, but obviously who knows who’s getting paid to do write biased reviews and thus we aren’t really sure what’s what. But I may actually pivot and go to transparent labs solely because my daughter has Seliac’s disease and if I get the Transparent labs protein I can share it with her because she’s gluten free.
@@frankdee4579 Ya, I only talk about products I personally bought and tested. If you do end up trying Transparent Labs, let me know how you like it. ISO 100 only has a few vendors, Amazon, Target and Walmart ect. easy access to all of them. Why knock them down when the other protein powder that are harder to get didnt get knocked down? Like the ones you have to order directly from their web-site. Very Bias. One of the best protein powders you cant middle tier for no reason besides bias.
Dymatize ISO 100 is a great product, and based on what you prioritize in a protein powder, it might be a bit higher in terms of rankings (2nd tier vs 3rd tier). However, it's definitely not the 1st tier. -You're right, you can buy it at multiple places. However, the issue is that the prices can vary wildly. In my research, I found it priced between $1.67-$3.28 per serving. If you buy the protein at the top end of that range, you're literally buying the most expensive protein powder on the market. However, the issue is that consumers walking the aisle of Target aren't going to whip out their calculators and start figuring out the cost per serving. So one day, they might be getting good value if they find a deal off Amazon, and the next day they might be getting screwed if picking up a bottle at the local store. Consumers want price consistency. (I don't want to downplay this point. So I'll say it again, the wide range in pricing is the main reason it's not in the 1st tier. So in my opinion, it now competes for either 2nd or 3rd tier, and I put it in the 3rd tier because of the next two reasons) -I've tried a few flavors now, and while I do enjoy them, are they the best protein flavors I've ever had? Definitely not. This might just be a "me thing", but I do find their flavors to be too sweet. Taste is subjective, so that might not be a problem for you. They sweeten their protein with both sucralose and stevia, which is likely the issue when it comes to being too sweet. One sweetener is enough. Again, taste is hard to rank for everybody equally. So yes, there is some bias when it comes to this point. -Lastly, their nutrition label is a bit weird. They list their protein per serving to be 25g and then have it as 50% of your daily protein intake. This seems ridiculous because it states that people should only aim for 50 grams of protein per day, which is insanely low. Now, experienced users like yourself might ignore this. But for newbies (which is a big part of my audience), they might assume that all you need is 2 scoops of ISO 100 to get all of your daily protein intake. Obviously not the case.
@@feast_good This clearly reveals your bias. When purchased from an authorized dealer, the price remains consistent-either at MSRP or discounted. The full retail price is $1.60 per scoop, but it’s often available at a much lower cost during sales. For an isolated protein, this pricing is quite competitive in today’s market. While taste is inherently subjective, many consider this brand to produce the best-tasting protein on the market. They pioneered the milk cereal flavor trend and excel with their Fruity Pebbles variant. The criticisms you've leveled against them could easily apply to any protein powder on the market, further underscoring your bias, which you have now reiterated with certainty.
Protein powders are overrated/overpriced and not necessarily at all. You don’t need it- just real food. I’m willing to bet most of these are from the same factory just with a different label. I’m Currently 240lbs and benching near 400. No roids/supplements/pre-workout at all. Fitness industry full of crap. If people realized how little protein you actually need this industry would collapse.
powder is easier to absorb. BUT that part about they come from the same factory im really agree. just like different clothing brand but they source from the same factory in china or vietnam.
Your list makes little sense. You need to weight and score accordingly, passing this off as fun is a bit dishonest given you are trying to steer people to your top 2.
I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciate the quality of your videos! Your content is always informative and engaging. I've been considering trying out AGN Roots Grass-Fed Whey and would love to hear your thoughts on it. Have you had a chance to review or try it? Any insights you can share would be really helpful!

Swolverine protein powder, 26 g protein out of a 31 g scoop and taste great. It's the only contender found for Transparent labs protein powder, 28 g out of a 35 g scoop!
Funny enough, I haven't tried their protein (only their pre-workout), but it's on my list to try VERY soon. It definitely has a higher protein percent of calories compared to most proteins on this list and I love the look of their simple ingredient panel. Will put out a video after I test it.

I know you can’t test everything, but I would have liked to see Pro Jym from Jim Supplement Science, Metabolic Drive by Biotest, Combat Whey, and Jay Robb whey protein. These are fairly popular. I have used all of them. I’m more interested in quality and purity and price then taste and mixability.
I do talk about those things in my indidivual review videos. Hard to talk about all those factors in a broad video like this. But if you find a protein powder in this video that's interesting to you, head over to my protein powder playlist, then click the individual review for that protein powder. You'll get more information there about ingredients.
I have, but I haven't tried it enough to make an individual review yet. I do like their pure isolate though. It's high quality. Their website is hard to navigate and I think they have way too many product lines, especially protein powders, which may cause some confusion with consumers.
Would love to see how Biohealth Precision ISO stacks against the rest reviewed. I’m currently on PEScience and it’s good, I like it. But I like Biohealth’s too.
@@feast_good I like the taste for sure. Not sure how old they as a company, they’re gaining popularity here in Los Angeles, CA, USA. I think they’re based out of here in the L.A. County.

@@terrynicolaourealty819 Just took a quick look. The digestive enzyme blend is interesting. The protein percentage of calories is 66% though, which is far below what I like to see in a high quality protein powder. Personally, I'm not taking anything under 85%.
Ive tried so many protein powders and none of them sit well in my stomach besides MUSCLE MILK, it taste good and has the protein… but do y’all think I should be good using this product??????
Isopure has 25g of protein per scoop and 100-110 calories, depending on the flavor. This means Isopure provides 91-100% protein per scoop, because protein accounts for 4 calories per gram. Here's the vanilla flavor for example: www.amazon.com/Isopure-Protein-Powder-Isolate-Friendly/dp/B06XQSRYRZ/ref=asc_df_B06XQSRYRZ/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=692875362841&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1241510946219688611&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007527&hvtargid=pla-2281435181698&psc=1&mcid=805c3637ab10321eab8a7d6f1745b1ba&hvocijid=1241510946219688611-B06XQSRYRZ-&hvexpln=73&gad_source=1
Good point! Artificial sweeteners have 🚫 zero calories (honestly should be avoided as most destroy healthy gut-bacteria) But sweeteners add BULK hence the 25g/33g ratio
I haven't tried it, so can't speak from experience. Quickly looked at the website though. The chocolate flavor is 92% protein percent of calories, which is awesome to see. Any protein above 85% should get some attention. They do use a lot of fillers/thickeners in their ingredient list though. So if you're looking for a more natural product, it might not be a good fit. The brand also says it's 3rd party tested. I can't find any other information on their site about the results of these lab tests, but I guess you can take their word. I'd still like to see more transparency. Seems like a decent price - $1.87 per serving. The average cost of protein is $1.34, but when you factor in a higher protein percentage and 3rd party testing, you need to expect to pay more. I can't speak to the taste, mixability, etc., and there doesn't seem like there's a lot of flavor variety. So people that want a lot of unique flavors might be disappointed. There's a lot more to cover in a full protein review, but these are some initial thoughts.
I bought and tested every single one of these protein powders over the last 2 years, trying each of them for a full month. None of these protein powder companies sponsor me.
I noticed the Bucked up, Buck Feed Protein was not listed, where do you think it would possibly stack up in the list? I am curious on it verses the ISO100.
I actually can't say it because I've never tried the Bucked Up protein. The only protein powders that are on this list are the ones I've personally tried.
Honestly, the most important thing with bulking is to make sure you're in a caloric surplus by tracking your calories, and then make sure you're hitting your protein targets. Any protein powder can help contribute to hitting your protein target. If you struggle with hitting your calories, you could consider a mass gainer. For protein, my top protein is Transparent Labs, but others on this list will do just fine, too.

@@feast_good Google it, it's a protein powder brand, saw it online
I think a more useful measure would be cost per gram of protein. Serving size and number varies so widely that its not a fair comparison for high % and low % proteins.
I agree. But I wonder whether the prices change for the same bottle depending on country, region, store, etc.
Tiktok shop has ryse at like half retail so u mean retail?
@@Sameer5865 Why do I see ON Gold coming from Sri Lanka cheaper than anywhere else? Is it made there?
Dymatize is expensive, unless you find the periodic Amazon price of $66 for 70+ servings. This price has really worked for me. 2.5 month supply, and it goes on sale for $66 more often than that.
Yup, the cost is the ONLY real reason this didn't rank higher on the tier list. It's an excellent protein. And when I say price, it's just the price variability. You can find such a huge range.
There is no bpi in this list.😂😂😂
The best protien you can get now..
@@_vk03 Why do you like BPI so much? Genuinely curious.
@@feast_good best results. And no amino profile spiking
I’m happy the only problem you had on it was the cost. They sell it at HEB so that’s what I get.
I’m so glad someone finally made a video like this! I hate buying stuff when I don’t know what it’s like, and this really helps the decision making process!
I had two things I wanted to mention -
1. Premier Protein has protein powders you can mix into a shake; not just the RTD containers. Their vanilla has been a staple of mine for over a year now. It’s super cheap (I think) and I personally really like the flavor
2. And speaking of flavor, I’ve heard horrific things about the MyProtein flavors SPECIFICALLY in the states. Anything from it just tastes bad to it used to be really good but now tastes like chemicals - it’s made it really hard to want to commit to it. Just figured I’d put that out there
But thank you again for making this video!
It’s got 150 Calories, 30g protein, 1g sugar, and 2g of fat (1g saturated)
So with Premiere, the vanilla can vary on versatility (chocolate lends itself better to more niche uses) but just as a shake it’s perfectly fine, especially on a budget.
But for $25 a tub, ($1.08 an ounce) and for being incredibly commercially available, I’d say it’s worth it, for beginners especially, but maybe not necessary for more intermediate protein consumers
But sorry for yapping, hopefully this answers anything you were wondering😂
@@feast_good The chocolate premier protein powder is really good tasting and not overly sweet. Vanilla tastes alright, but its not good for a vanilla flavor in my opinion. I usually just mix a scoop of each
Nice review but to take it a step further, get it lab tested and see how accurate the protein content are. Start exposing these products!
Because that would be very expensive
I’m a member of a site you have to pay to access called consumerlab that did test protein powders. They said that all of them they tested were actually accurate.
Wdym expose I think people would find out pretty quickly if the their protein was fake 😂
RUclipsrs are the next truthers!
So I just came to US like a month ago and realised that people promote brands just based on what they say on labes, I mean dude how do you know that it’s accurate without a lab test? Back in India we have lots of companies fooling people and there are people who post their individual lab tests online on yt, I don’t see that here lol
I have tried many brands over the years, and Transparent Labs, PEScience, and Dymatize have always been my favorites

@jonathanscott3440 the cottage cheese don't give it a bad flavor? I hate the taste that the plain yogurt gives it
I buy it all the time too, I was disappointed when he did not tell us what % of protein it is..

I've been getting it from Costco for 10 years now and I live in canada😂
@@damianwilson391 Time flies I guess.

Got me to click 🤫😊🙃
LOL. I had fun with that part.
Great list overall, but Dymatize Iso-100 should be higher, the only real knock against it is the price point. Used to find it at Sam's club for less than $1 per scoop, now even the 5lb tub is around $1.30. Though i will say the Fruity Pebbles flavor is worth every penny 🤤🤤
I do have a bit of a gripe with the consistency of the list though.

That means A LOT. Thank you. I'll definitely look at upgrading the mic.
So isopure is too good to be true yet is middle of the pack? I don’t understand your criteria
It's biggest negative is cost effectiveness. That's it.
A couple things:
-It doesn't have 3rd party testing.

@@feast_good excellent reason. I was about to try it this week as I’ve seen mostly overwhelming reviews.
So in my opinion, it now competes for either 2nd or 3rd tier, and I put it in the 3rd tier because of the next two reasons)
-I've tried a few flavors now, and while I do enjoy them, are they the best protein flavors I've ever had?
Thank you for making this video, I’m not sure what to pick, I want to mix it with either water or milk and take it whenever. Subbed. Thanks !

Thank you, that means a lot. You're now the 2nd person who has requested a review on AGN Roots Grass Fed Whey, so I'll buy a bottle and test it. Stay tuned.
Did you use these proteins long term to really see the results?
Naked whey unflavored only has 1 ingredient and no fillers or junk
At least 30 days for each of them.
@@feast_good thanks so much! I decided to try the Transparent labs since I keep hearing great things about it.
@@Healthy_Lifestyle_Advocate PLEASE let me know how you like it.
@@feast_good for sure, will do!
Have you had Naked Pea?
Swolverine protein powder, 26 g protein out of a 31 g scoop and taste great. It's the only contender found for Transparent labs protein powder, 28 g out of a 35 g scoop!
Funny enough, I haven't tried their protein (only their pre-workout), but it's on my list to try VERY soon. It definitely has a higher protein percent of calories compared to most proteins on this list and I love the look of their simple ingredient panel. Will put out a video after I test it.
Hosstile? Love their protein. Curious about your opinions on them, they also have digeseb for increased digestion
Never heard of it. Is it good?
@@feast_good the flavors were really good in my opinion. The ingredients and macros are good. It’s Sam Suleks partnered brand so I would’ve thought more people would’ve known about it. I only know about it because of Digeseb
@@therealjp3177 Interesting, ya this is my first time. It looks okay, but nothing special. Ingrediets have multiple thickeners, artificial sweeteners, which is fine if you don't care about those things. it's 86% protein per serving, so definitely a high percentage protein. I can't find anything about being 3rd party tested, which is a must for me.
@@feast_good thanks for your opinion!
as a student, who just started going to the gym which option would be the best for me?
If you say "as a student", does that mean you're on a budget?
I posted a comment here the other day and it got deleted.
question, how are you calculating the net protein?
No comment was ever deleted.
What do you mean by net protein?
@@feast_good how much protein per scoop is what i mean by net. 4:28
maybe it got dleted because I put a link in.
your other video you say 120 calories for Transparent labs. It's 130, not 120.
and the total grams for Unflavored is 33.3g per scoop. 28g protein per serving. 28/33 x 100 = 85 approximately. Transparent labs doesn't have 90% protein per scoop. It has less than 85%.
Thoughts on G6 prolific whey isolate ???
Hmm, no thoughts cause I haven't taken it. I've actually never even heard of G6. Is it a good brand?
@feast_good hell I dunno brother some shit that GNC pushed on ( yes GNC sucks but I needed some quick).... us yesterday 70 bucks 2lbs...but it only had 4 or 5 ingredients 100 cal non GMO ....check it out look it up gimme ya thoughts id appreciate it
Don't you get the a second GNC tub at 50%? Wondering if it affects rating
I don't know if that sale is going on.
Thanks for this. I've written those down and will try them before filming another tier list.
I use pro Jym and so far it’s been amazing for me
@@yaboyshelz Will definitely try it.
Please talk about the ingredients and address if there is xanthum gum, emulsifier, fillers, grass fed, free range etc.
I do talk about those things in my indidivual review videos. Hard to talk about all those factors in a broad video like this. But if you find a protein powder in this video that's interesting to you, head over to my protein powder playlist, then click the individual review for that protein powder. You'll get more information there about ingredients.
Hey, fellow Canadian here! Have you tried revolution nutrition protein? Seems like they always have deals going...
I have, but I haven't tried it enough to make an individual review yet. I do like their pure isolate though. It's high quality. Their website is hard to navigate and I think they have way too many product lines, especially protein powders, which may cause some confusion with consumers.
@@feast_good That is true, there is many things on that site!
What do you think of the gold standard generic version of Costco?
You mean the Kirkland brand? I'm releasing my review on it next Wednesday. Stay tuned.
@@feast_good okay great please send me the link

Would love to see how Biohealth Precision ISO stacks against the rest reviewed. I’m currently on PEScience and it’s good, I like it. But I like Biohealth’s too.
I haven't tried Biohealth Precision. Honestly never heard of it. Is it good?
@@feast_good I like the taste for sure. Not sure how old they as a company, they’re gaining popularity here in Los Angeles, CA, USA. I think they’re based out of here in the L.A. County.
@@draggabeats I'll have to look into it more. Thanks for the suggestion.
Yo this would be cool if you can do this video with social media brand protein powders. Brands that sponsor or are backed by a lot of fitness influencers.
I love that idea. Do you have a list of these protein powders? It would help me out a lot since then I can just buy them and don't have to do a ton of social media research beforehand.
The worst shoud be red in the tier list. But great video overall!
Thank you. That's a good suggestion. Will be doing a pre-workout tier list and will try and incorproate that.
I find this offensive being red is my favorite color 😂
@@PR-BEASTJAM91 Lol.
@@PR-BEASTJAM91 Lmao xD
I have a question and hope you answer me, how are you analyzing 22 protein and you don't have in your list projym that is one of the best protein out there??
The 22 that made this video are only protein powders I've personally tried and tested for an entire bottle. Projym isn't on the list because I simply haven't tested it.
What’s your take on olimp nutrition
Never heard of it. What's it about?
Hi, any feedback on
Schinoussa protein?
Never heard of it. What are they about?
I've been taking this protein for a year. Seems to be working really well. The taste is great. Had a lot of probiotics but again, im not sure if these are just fillers. Its a Canadian company I believe. Let me know if you take a look at it. I'm curious what your opinion is.
@@terrynicolaourealty819 Just took a quick look. The digestive enzyme blend is interesting. The protein percentage of calories is 66% though, which is far below what I like to see in a high quality protein powder. Personally, I'm not taking anything under 85%.
The bag of the myprotein used wasn't the isolate but the regular impact whey.
In the video?
@@feast_good the bag said impact whey protein not impact whey isolate
@@mojojets5602 Whoops, I have both, that's why.
Ive tried so many protein powders and none of them sit well in my stomach besides MUSCLE MILK, it taste good and has the protein… but do y’all think I should be good using this product??????
If it sits well with you, then no need to change.
How is Isopure not top tier?
Here's my individual review of isopure: ruclips.net/video/KjsPYdGeg8g/видео.html
How did you claim IsoPure as having 90-100% when the label says 25 gms protein per 33 gm serving which roughly comes up at 76% protein.
Isopure has 25g of protein per scoop and 100-110 calories, depending on the flavor. This means Isopure provides 91-100% protein per scoop, because protein accounts for 4 calories per gram. Here's the vanilla flavor for example: www.amazon.com/Isopure-Protein-Powder-Isolate-Friendly/dp/B06XQSRYRZ/ref=asc_df_B06XQSRYRZ/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=692875362841&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1241510946219688611&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007527&hvtargid=pla-2281435181698&psc=1&mcid=805c3637ab10321eab8a7d6f1745b1ba&hvocijid=1241510946219688611-B06XQSRYRZ-&hvexpln=73&gad_source=1
Good point! Artificial sweeteners have 🚫 zero calories (honestly should be avoided as most destroy healthy gut-bacteria)
But sweeteners add BULK hence the 25g/33g ratio
True nutrition has been one I’ve enjoyed for a while. Customization and cost fits for me.
My protein a ton of flavors great taste and you can’t beat the price. Always have great deals
I would love your take on Blue Star.
Cool video about your opinions. Now which of these companies are you sponsored by?
I bought and tested every single one of these protein powders over the last 2 years, trying each of them for a full month. None of these protein powder companies sponsor me.
@@feast_good ok, respect 💪🏼

Where would u rank redcon1 mre lte
I noticed the Bucked up, Buck Feed Protein was not listed, where do you think it would possibly stack up in the list? I am curious on it verses the ISO100.
I actually can't say it because I've never tried the Bucked Up protein. The only protein powders that are on this list are the ones I've personally tried.
what would be a good bulking protein?
Honestly, the most important thing with bulking is to make sure you're in a caloric surplus by tracking your calories, and then make sure you're hitting your protein targets. Any protein powder can help contribute to hitting your protein target. If you struggle with hitting your calories, you could consider a mass gainer. For protein, my top protein is Transparent Labs, but others on this list will do just fine, too.
Can we see a review on the gorilla mode protein powder?
That's actually on my to do list. Still need to come around to testing it.
What about jocko whey protein? 🤔
I haven't tried it, but it doesn't look that high quality. I should buy it and do a proper review on it.
