Actually Starship Troopers wasn't about Fascism, the movies went against the style and actual views of Heinlien's books. Starship troopers was about a Federation style government in which All people lived in the Federation and had rights, but only those who served could vote or get into Government Services ect. The idea was that Rights that are given are not appreciated, but rights that are earned are treasured.

If the movie went against the book, then the movie wouldn't be about fascism. But the movie is about fascism. Just like the book. What the actual fuck are you talking about?

That's from a starship troopers movie, if you haven't i'd suggest reading the book, it's not as fascist as the movie likes to pretend, it's filled with college-style debate though, rather than more action-ey stuff like you'd get from a 40k book.

Make sure to turn off lobby music and admin sounds to avoid getting hit with the copyright thing from RUclips, you should be able to change your SS13 sound settings in Preferences tab.

We can do this too friend.. come play ss13 with me... I'm trying to get into it but it's hard to learn all the controls and you're surrounded by a bunch of people that mostly like to impersonate violent weirdos it seems.. so that's also a hurdle.... But what I learned is that you need to make the story, as texicus also shows time after time, most people just go along but not many of them come up with ideas of their own except wreck stuff and act silly.. Which can be really annoying, you need to be able to endure getting randomly killed.. Like 9 times out of 10 as well...
Would be nice if we get more mature people that like to create a story, not just goof around.. I mean you can goof around, but do it with some kind of purpose/story, than it's also fun for the other people right..

Basically, the new sky marshall in starship trooper 3 is also a pop star. And he sang that song, and sold assorted promotional merchandise to go along. Which does makes sense in the over the top way the Federation works I guess XD The musical is really cringy, but that's the best part about it XD

Also circumstantial evidence almost always applies in the court of law. Most evidence you would think of as being 'good evidence' like DNA evidence and video recordings are circumstantial evidence. What is generally considered slightly more dubious evidence like eyewitness testimony is NOT circumstantial.

I think the Admins messed up this round by giving you all those equipment you A, couldn't use, and B, couldn't hide. So no matter what, you're fucked and couldn't do anything but RP a torture scene.
They should have given you 3 C4 you could use or 3 Grenades if they couldn't make you use them. In an unnamed box that didn't give a message if you put something in it. THEN given a Fax about 3 Targets to bomb.
^ That right there, I think is the biggest waste. They just told you to act like a spy, without actually giving you an OBJECTIVE to do. Such as just taking pictures and then Evacing unnoticed. The Admins dropped the ball that round, sadly.

@@theblackpantslegion Indeed. Just sad there could have been so much better if the Admins atleast gave you an objective other than 'Just be a spy'. Would have been interesting if it was coded in like a Traitor in Goon, with random missions. Only instead of killing missions, it being like getting Pictures of X thing, or C4ing X objective, or sabatoging X machine/Console, all without being found out, then giving them an item so they can escape without alerting people, like a secret key to an escape pod, or the Commander's escape pod or something.
Still, was fun to watch, just wish there was more from the admins at the time.
I feel like every time I see Checkers on CM he makes a comment about how the admins are going to punnish him for some action he has or plans to commit, and yet he never hesitates. Ever.

I guess he just roleplays so well, and harmlessly in good ways, he doesn't try to tryhard in the game, he roleplays over winning, and honestly if someone doesn't like his RPing, they yes, have their own opinion, but they have no good humour and most likely want everyone to rp THEIR way, those kinds of people...or are overly serious...even CM ss13 is not the most serious of games, and this game tends to be REALLY serious... but...only on the ground...but on the ship...when checkers is around... there are products to be made...

I don't know why you didn't say that you planted the rest of the C4 on critical systems of the ship...
find the talk about the "UPP" funny in this, because yes it seems they are based around communistic places like Russia and Vietnam, but they apparently to the xenopedia (one the page was apparently non-canon to the xeno universe, so I guess UPP isn't canon?) they have compression suits with wrist mounted guns... doesn't sound like cardboard shoes and not good suits to me XD! but eh, if anyone has a better link with more knowledge on it for me, would be nice to learn about it...
my favorite AVP universe thing is a xenomorph...uhh android I believe? that actually "smoked" a cigar and talked, which was an infiltration type of android to look at xenos and their hives and such... was...actually a rather amazing thing, that comic... I BELIEVE that however, **IS** canon.
You know.. I know this is old.. But. Thinking about it.. They basically gave you the requirement for becoming Robocop.. I mean.. Shotgunned in that sort of way would for sure obliterate most of the body.. Like what was done to him. Would have been perfect if someone actually made you into a robot after that... That was funny to watch. First all the spy things. But it was refreshing to see a predator round from a spectator point of view aswell. Also nice art randomly put into place there at random ;). Circumstantial evidence can and does apply in a court of law, much like hearsay can, if it meets a legal exception.
Technically, any document that has words that someone put on it is hearsay, but in the American legal system, those documents can gain a hearsay exception.
Same thing with circumstantial evidence. If the evidence itself is applicable via law, then it is allowed to be entered into court and to be considered by a jury.

That interrogation was pretty.... harsh. Especially given how he never shot anyone but I guess he did have explosives and shit on him. Is that normal? It seems like executing him was a bit much.

are there like...traitors or stuff on CM? you know, sometimes the random marines that become vent dwellers and stuff, or MP's and stuff...
or is self antag, in a slight minor way legal on those servers? like I see sometimes the MP's talking about certain things, and a marine is pretty much a minor nuisance...
or is it a thing where these said players are asking admins to be able to do stuff? or is it just rulebreakers? because some of it seems rather well done, in an RP like way... its rare I see it, but...still... its like those dudes don't even get admin reprocussions or anything for what they do.
