there is only one problem with that glacier... i flew my phantom 4 through that glacier and the worst thing about it is the fact that usually wind is strong to this level that my phatnom 4 in sport mode was almost not able to come back to me...couldn't even fly further... this is the biggest icelandic glacier no joke...but ofc it doesn't change the fact that dji drones are amazing

When is this coming out? My money is ready. Almost ordered the AEE F50. This is just perfect for the price and I can order other extras and a DSLR camera. I cannot wait to have this.

Fantastic drone. It would be really nice to have a spare channel output for releasing the hook or other customised features though. Getting those 17" spinning props 2 meters above a victim inside a windy canyon or between trees or rocks while operating from far away as suggested in this video is a very bad idea.
Those 15 people are against Drones shame on them i fly the Phantom 3 for Arial Photograpy and videos its great they use Drones in rescue missions too

When you use a drone to capture a drone flying then put the video of a drone capturing a drone in a drone commercial.

Dunno if 35minutes of flight time is enough to find and rescue someone, in many situations are helicopters really handy because you can rescue them instantly when you find them, this drone will find someone and then you have to get there. But there are scenarios where small drone can be the best option.

So to make this clear.. after you found the people which need rescue you take home the recorded data and analyse it so that you can get there again and then rescue them?

Nope but a drone can cover more ground than a helicopter, it is faster to get into the air than a helicopter, and flying 2 drones to cover a wider area is extremely feasible vs getting 2 helicopters. Also helicopters require minimum a pilot, and another scout. Drones only need one pilot plus you have the addition thermal view. You just can't compare how fast Dji drones can get into the air and supply A&E units versue a helicopter. In search and rescue, every minute counts.
Also helicopters are expensive and unless it absolutely requires an Air Rescue. The rescue would be done by land. In this case, having drone eyes in the air absolutely lets you locate survivors so much quicker than ground view. Not to mention how many people have the license to fly a helicopter??? Where as any son's a bitches can fly a drone EZ. You will never ever have to worry about not having a drone pilot where as helicopter pilots might not always be on hand.
