The WCR footage you guys have captured is so cool, shots that you could never safely get with helicopters etc.
Would be interesting to know the basic settings for the camera for shots like that. It looks killer awesome, but also requires some really good pilot skills as well.
The Inspire 2 is controlled by 2 people, a pilot and a camera man. And the footage is post processed with editing and colour grading, so it's probably filmed in a quite flat colours. The Zenmuse camera also has a relatively large image sensor, which means a high dynamic range and light sensitivity, not to mention interchangeable lenses/ focal lengths. Typical cimematic footage is filmed at 24 fps with a shutter speed of 1/50 of a second. But the Inspire 2 is capable of 120 fps for slow motion footage.

Everything is really cool, but pleaaaase work on sound... I hate those sounds which very often are not from WRC cars... For example group N Subaru :) Besides that - great work!

As stated in the video, they use the Crystal Sky display made by DJI. It's extremely bright, which means it's perfectly visible in bright sunlight.

Not so sure about the “can film at -10 to -15 Degrees” though. The inspire 2 does tend to shut down at those temperatures. So, not really a believer of this.
But, still a good drone for the summer though.
As stated in the video, the Inspire 2 has heated batteries.

I love my inspire 2 this is my 2nd one and I don't think anyone needs to spend four thousand eight hundred dollars on the X7. It's an awesome X5S is awesome. I wish dji would do something about the new update I still have it saying Obstacle avoidance is not working but it does and sd card is not available and I have tried to update it 5 times and calibrated everything including my crystal sky and I had poor signal all the time so I added the inspire 2 GPS module and to the cendence remote control and patch antenna and that took care of that problem. I'm going to try to update one more time and calibrated everything again.

I'd dare say quite a few. Aside from needing multiple drones in the air, as well as backups, capturing high res, high framerate RAW format footage uses a butt-ton of storage.

That's cool but why doesnt DJI release a FPV drone that can do all the flips and stunts? I'm a big supporter of DJI and have purchased numerous products over the years and love the mavic and inspire but it seems to me the FPV gets amazing footage especially for racing and fast motion and besides releasing the goggles and controller DJI should consider releasing a complete package of drone that can do flips and spins but better camera and goggles I believe there is a huge market for DJI in this. I love the inspire but prefer the mavic as it's easier to take along on airplane trips, there is no way I'm checking in a DJI inspire on plane trips.
@David McKee thanks for your reply and comment. I still believe it's better to sell the package deal with everything built properly. I dont have the time or the interest to tinker in building the drone. I appreciate and respect people who can and do but I would rather pick up a drone ready to go. As far as skills to fly these fpv drones, I'm sure most serious minded pilots will be able to pick it up with some practice.
@David McKee Agree to disagree David, by that logic I should be able to personally repair an inspire or a mavic 2 or an Air. I can change propellers but that is really it. Really not interested in debating the point. I hope DJI reps take the comment and produce this drone for their customers. There are plenty of companies joining the drone market and if DJI wants to stay relevant they will keep innovating.
