There's work that you have to put in everything you want in life for what you want to have and this includes investment in relationships. This is so so good

My dad introduced me to Deshauna years ago through her motivational speech about how she kept going on her pageantry journey. Ever since, I always look for her videos, I love her😭. Now that I’m in the US , it would be a pleasure meeting her! You inspire me and listening to you is a blessing!

No, it's a must if you want a healthy relationship. You have to invest time in all relationships. Family as well.

Absolutely! I agree that it is intentional to invest time in finding your person. I made intentional steps to find my person, which paid off. I can't sit in my house and hope he falls out of the sky, lol. I have to work towards putting myself in the position to be found by him. I am grateful I made the intentional effort to find him.

This has great insight especially for folks relocating to Atl and D.C.

Facts! People need to be realistic when moving to these areas. You may be the exception to the rule, but in truth, the chances are shaky for these cities based on my experience and the experience of the dozens of women I know in those areas.

Hi! Do you have any tips on how to prepare for the marriage and relationships? I’m thinking of moving to a city where the male to female ratio is 2:1

Hey love, I apologize for the late response. A 2:1 ratio is actually excellent! What city are you moving to? DC and Atlanta have a 20:1 ratio, making living there more beneficial for men. Firstly, start working on becoming the best version of yourself and how that looks to you. What it looked like to me was I got into therapy and worked on healing myself from trauma. I detoxed my social media and only followed social media accounts that are marriage-focused to help get advice on what it looks like to be "Wifely." I started watching videos about feminism and the power of attraction. I considered myself before becoming a wife to be very masculine; it may be because I am a former military, so I had to learn how to turn off that masculine side to attract a masculine male and learn how to connect to my feminity. But this is my definition of the best version of "Deshauna," so you have to decide how to get to your best version of yourself and start working towards it. Hope that helps Love
