I think we need to remember 2 things: first, the gen1 kaminoan clones were mandalorians in all but name Second, a quote by canderous ordo "I don't necessarily like wiping out worlds for it's own sake but the tactics of our enemies left us little choice, hiding behind civilians thinking we would not use the necessary measures to secure victory."
These clones are a pretty good example of how being a clone really only defines your physicality and not your character. Captain Rex, and others like him, are considered moral paragons who short of being implanted with mind controlling bio ships wouldn't hurt a fly unless it was flying a CIS flag. While every clone trooper was trained for war, I'd say the influence of their individual experiences and their partnered jedi generals gave some real diversity to the clones. While Jango Fett clones are made almost entirely for the same purpose, it'd be interesting to see more of the Kaminoin's work post Endor when their clientele is no longer just Palpatine. Say for instance, what if we get Din Djarin clones? That'd be an interesting way for his character to "continue" past episode 9.
I honestly wish TCW shed some light on campaigns involving Bacara & Neyo, they were practically nonexistent when compared to the other Commanders, even Bly got more screentime than Neyo.

The 501st is superior to any of these clone corps in battle. The only thing the units in this video had going for them is their willingness to follow any order, no questions asked. That's not the same as being good in battle.

What impressed me most by the clone wars series wasn't any of this. But the simple fact that one guy voiced every clone you see in every episode. That hiring phase must of been hallarious. "So who am I voice acting? A-EVERYBODY. Ok so when's my breaks A-never. Wow um so when do I go home? A- This is your home now".
It’s things like this that make me like the legends explanation for Order 66 than canon. The Clones were extremely loyal to the republic and to palpatine, so them being able to kill the Jedi at Palpatine’s orders isn’t so out of the realm of possibility. Hell its things like Pong Krell that would reinforce the order to kill the Jedi. But the Clones can’t actually be the bad guys, they have to be victims that have no control over it.
I hate Canon's explanation for it like why couldn't the writers just take a page outta Bioshock and say is was subliminal training and that the clones didn't realize was they were doing until they snapped out of a trance-like state? Why did the writers think that using the biochip excuse was better? Like wtf man... :(

What I don't get is why orbital bombardments weren't more common. You'd think that'd be easier compared to a ground assault.

What impressed me most by the clone wars series wasn't any of this. But the simple fact that one guy voiced every clone you see in every episode. That hiring phase must of been hallarious. "So who am I voice acting? A-EVERYBODY. Ok so when's my breaks A-never. Wow um so when do I go home? A- This is your home now".

It’s things like this that make me like the legends explanation for Order 66 than canon. The Clones were extremely loyal to the republic and to palpatine, so them being able to kill the Jedi at Palpatine’s orders isn’t so out of the realm of possibility. Hell its things like Pong Krell that would reinforce the order to kill the Jedi. But the Clones can’t actually be the bad guys, they have to be victims that have no control over it.
Some, but many wouldn’t have carried out the orders if they didn’t have the chips. I think Cody certainly wouldn’t, along with many others
I hate Canon's explanation for it like why couldn't the writers just take a page outta Bioshock and say is was subliminal training and that the clones didn't realize was they were doing until they snapped out of a trance-like state? Why did the writers think that using the biochip excuse was better? Like wtf man... :(
