As a solo cruiser who snagged it for $88 I really enjoyed the experience and lunch. Having said that, I only spent a few hours there and left to explore the other areas. It's a lovely option if the price is "right".
Definitely agree, I think it works for some and not others which is totally fine, it's nice to have the options. I'd like to see more value for the money (like free ice cream, or apps thorough the day) but if you hit the right price point its a good deal for those who just want to relax as you said. Happy Travels Jennifer! 🦩
Wife and I grabbed a deal for $89 pp and sent the kids (teens) to Thrill Waterpark. Coco Beach Club was our favorite part of the entire 8 day cruise (partly tainted by me getting placed in covid quarantine on day 4). We loved the exclusivity of it and we felt the lunch was the best meal of the trip and we had the specialty dining package (once again we didn't eat everywhere due to the trip being cut short). We said we would have paid full price for the day if we ever go back again. Great video!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Too bad you had to go into quarantine. Sending the teens to the water park instead is a good idea. They would probably enjoy that more.
Thank you for your very informative talk. We are doing a back to back in October. I booked the first week here and with your review I’m glad I did. We got it for $95 each with gratuities. The second week we will explore the island or stay at Chill Island and visit the swim up bar.
Thats a great price, really happy we could help reinforce your decision, we enjoyed it and how calm it was. I'm sure you will love it. Sounds like an awesome back to back! Happy Travels Betty! 🦩
Nice overview. Never been to the beach club. My value guess would be the lower end at $100/person would be more reasonable. Also it seems like a 3rd visit kind of a place. You got a lot to explore, potentially water park or other activities l, and then the relax. Depending on your groups energy of course.
Definitely agree, we started going our 2nd time on the island, there is SO much to explore, and you can usually find a quite place to sit down (usually) but its a good way to ensure you have it if new travellers or experienced ones just want some calm, relaxing vibes away from all the other things. But to your point and I hope we capture, it's totally up to the traveler, we don't want to give an opinion for everyone but just provide the information for everyone decide. Thanks for the review, it's very helpful. We're booked for Feb 2024. Everything compared to 2023 prices is out of sight but we were able to hit a Black Friday sale at $123/pp. Could you, or anyone, offer a few words on TIPPING? Is it added in? Did you tip extra? If you tipped, how much? etc.
Tipping, even on the island is included in the cost. We do tip however for exceptional service and such. Hope that helps! Happy Travels I'm sure it will be great!
Have a question for anyone that might be able to help. We have a cruise scheduled on Odyssey OTS for March 2-10, 2024 to Southern Caribbean. When I log into RC and look at the available shore excursions for Perfect Day at CocoCay, i don't see the Coco Beach Club listed (unless you book the expensive Cabanas) Does RC let those cabanas sell out before they release just the access to Coco Beach Club ? Possibly we are still too far out from cruise (around 11 months) for all excursions to be available ?
Right now it’s $88.00 because of the Black Friday sale. Before that It was $179.00 as a solo traveler I want to try everything but I’m not going to just throw money around. Also I don’t want to go everywhere on the island and tire myself out lol it’s vacation you want to relax. I haven’t done the thrill water park just yet because I travel solo and there’s some rides you can’t do down if it’s a two person ride. I’m going in February and will be back in October so since I caught the sale now I’m definitely taking advantage of the price to check it out.
Thats a great price for Black Friday and cyber Monday! Definitely agree you just want to relax and not have to walk around a whole island! :). I'm sure you will enjoy it, sounds like a great trip. Happy Travels Florence! 🦩
LOL yes, I think for some people it may be good (i.e. if you want to ensure you have a clam area to relax in) but it's a bit niche. I think they could have added a bit more value for the money. For us it was a neat experience but as we said not at the sticker price lol. Happy Travel Michael! 🦩
We just got back and did the beach club. We snagged a deal for a 100 dollars a person and it was so worth it. We were on the Wonder of the Seas, and this was my favorite excursion. The beach mats are also Included in this price. If you don’t do the beach club, the mats are 20 Dollars a person. I think the food www the best I had the entire week. We even got to see a couple of sharks in the ocean. To me, it is very much worth the cost!❤️
We've been to the beach club several times. It is very nice, especially if yours is the only ship there. Unfortunately the price has gotten to the point, (just under $200.00 per person for our upcoming trip on 7-17-2023) where it is just not worth it. When the beach club first opened we got it for $49.99 each.. The over water cabanas have also gone up to the point where it's just too much. I have noticed that all the ships are practically full and people will continue to pay the high prices until they stop selling them.
We are going there in Feb/2024 The price for Coco Beach Club is 2400 and 4000. You can not get a day pass not available .You have to get a Cabana . I call them and that is right . Wait a shame !!

That actually is beautiful and love that lobster you showed! Lol👍🏻👍🏻
The lobster was amazing! Thanks for watching as always AlphaTraveler1!
This looks like so much fun! I agree if there is a deal we would purchase it but max of $100 each.
It was a lot of fun. We would go back for $100 but not full price. Thanks for watching and commenting

I have not had this experience yet and most likely can not justify the extra cost. Grilled lobster??? Wow, 😮

Wow only $50 that is a good price. We agree for our up coming cruise it is almost $400 each so we will be passing. Thanks for sharing. Happy travels 🦩
I wanted to do this but they are charging 235 a person on our trip
Oh dang that is a lot. Too bad :(
I am going in June, I wonder if it will go on sale again because right now it’s $235

Wow! Yeah that’s out of my budget. Shocked it’s already booked out almost a year in advance.
