My favorite cocoa cay story- picture it, the hammocks by the Oasis Lagoon, hubby went to the bathroom and I decided to relax in a hammock.
I sat down, tilted forward on my knees. I rocked back and flipped a$$ over teakettle.
Landed on my back in the mulch with my feet in the air.
    I was stone cold sober.

Which is the Best location / beach to go to with a disabled mom (she will have a scooter)? I see the trams have a roll on for wheelchairs and scooters, so that is great. I'm looking for a beach Close enough to places I can run back and forth to get her water, food, bathroom access, etc and somewhere that isn't so loud. More laid back. the prices for things have gone parabolic now, thrill waterpark is currently $170 for our thanksgiving cruise, cabanas like $3k, almost $300 for regular pass to coco beach. ill likely go off early, snorkel a bit, and then get back on the ship to take advantage of the pool areas being quiet.

Good question: if you get off the ship early enough you won’t have a problem getting a couple beach chairs. The beds are reserved so you don’t have to rush to get it, they are also spread out so you aren’t as crowded. I think it depends if you are going to be busy in the water and doing different activities or relaxing on the beach if it is worth it.

One Bad Thing about the buffet that I experienced was the food that is left out for taking hamburgers hot dogs etc tend to be attacked by flies on the island. When I was there there were flies all over the food. They should serve them under food nets to keep the situation under control.
