The hallowed Roundtable Hold is a gathering place for Tarnished who seek the Elden Ring. Normally your being maidenless would preclude your admission. But I can make an exception every now and then. Every single line of dialog is gold but the closed network test lines are timeless. 0:00 - 1:58 The voice actor killed it through every line but I’ll never forget opening the gate from the tutorial cave, seeing the first NPC, and having him tell me to die in a ditch somewhere set the standard and expectations going forward. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. My lambkin 💪🏼

A few noteworthy observations... Approximately, "Mohg has strength, vision and love." ^^ I can believe the first two, but I am pretty sure that last emotion can be attributed to Miquella. Varré uses the word "love" a few different times in reference to Mohg / Mohgwyn dynasty. It is not unheard of for cult / religious recruiters to "love bomb" new people. Of course this isn't always the case, but some people seek out a religious / spiritual community because of being in crisis and their life lacking purpose, direction and meaning. Making people feel secure, like they belong and for want of a better word...loved. This is a powerful method of bringing in new recruits. Varré at one point says Mohg is sleeping beside the deity (Miquella) and essentially they are mostly in a holding pattern waiting on Miquella waking up and presumably becoming a God. This also makes me think of Cthulu and Lovecraftian deities and their tendencies to sleep and wait for the conditions to be right before they emerge once again. I guess this is why Mohg is so angry when we meet him. We not only disturbed his time with Miquella, but also his nap time. lol Maybe conscuously or unconsciously Miquella really has Mohg wrapped around his finger. What if Miquella has been stalling Mohg's progress by keeping Mohg asleep at his side entrapped by his infatuation with Miquella? At the same time perhaps for all the years that Miquella has been alive it wasn't until Mohg abducted him that it even occurred to him that his ability to inspire devotion is a double edged sword. He can inspire selfless devotion, but this devotion can become extreme possessiveness, jealousy and controlling behavior. I have seen a number of comments by people suggesting that the Sanguine Nobles are the children of Mohg and Miquella, which I disagree with. Going off Varé's quotes it sounds like the start of Mohgwyn's dynasty begins with Miquella and Mohg waking up and Miquella becoming a God. If somehow Miquella had conceived and birthed children... Wouldn't this constitute the establishment of Mohg's dynasty because he now has biological heirs? On a few different levels this doesn't make sense to me.
Gonna be honest, I'm disappointed that we can't choose to have a missing finger after he rips it off, just like how you get to choose to have those red eyes
On the item's picture it doesn't look severed like the festering fingers, I think Varré just plants royal blood into the tarnished's finger to make us knights. Guessing by Mohg's bloodflame I imagine that royal blood hurts a lot.

I love his voice acting but this thing just can’t get out of my head. His name was a stress mark on last syllable Varré, yet he clearly says Várre. It’s such a nothing nitpick but why would they place a stress mark on the last syllable specifically for this character, to just never even pronounce it right. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think he is the only character that has a stress mark in his name which infuriates me the most
