Another great fly! Ive has some issues in the past with finishing the heads on my flies, how do you go about cleaning any head cement that may have gotten into the hook eye?
Thanks a lot. What i do is to clean out the eye for any unwanted head cement, before it dries up. I use some of the surplus materials laying around on the tying bench: a short piece of rib or the stem of a hackle feather. It's easy to do, if you remember to do it at once. If you find out the hard way... on the water... it's a pain in the ass ;0) Tight lines, Michael :0)
This has been one of my most successful flies for catching rainbow trout
Thanks for your input. Tight lines, Michael :0)
Nice one Michael. I like the streamlined look of your tie. Black & yellow gets my vote too. Thanks!

Cool tip, Kjell. Thanks a lot, Michael 😃
