The sound gets weird at around 5:00 - must’ve covered the mic with my finger 🤦🏼♀️ what can I say, I’m a voiceover expert!
One of the best reviews I've seen so far!
THANK YOU!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! xx
Yeah I just used these products together today and my hair looks great! Very pleased!
Guuurrrl me too!! xxx
Looking forward to this product coming to the UK. Thanks for the review Angela!
My pleasure!! xx
Looks fabulous!
Woohoo I guessed right! Might have to try this line all the other products you've suggested have worked well for me.
I hope you love them as much as I do!!
I wish they had released this line for Black Friday
Thanks, got Ulta gift card and trying to decide if I need this! Really appreciate your tips as a low density fine curl girl😊
Us fine-haired curly girls need to stick together!! 🙌🏻😂
Use a light layer of a thin consistency gel on top of the foam! I highly recommend Biolage Styling Gelee (my holy grail gel) - no weighdown, great hold, and seems to work with everything!
Manes by Mell explained that olaplex is specific to one type of bond damage, which is why I think it did not work at all for my hair, and the curlsmith bond repair is for 3 types of bond damage. I just tried it this morning and I could actually see and feel the benefits, unlike olaplex. The curlsmith product said on the bottle to apply to product free damp hair. I was not crazy about the fragrance. It smelled artificial and perfumie to me, but fragrance is personal. Thanks for your demo.
I saw and felt the benefits right away too! It’s an awesome product. Thanks for sharing! xx
I have the Featherlight Protein Cream and was impressed when I layered it over the Weightless Air Dry Cream. Now I really want to try the bond treatment salve!
It’s so worth it!! xx
When Mel (Manes By) used the foam, she put it in her root area for volume.
I love the foam
I have the foam and the bond treatment. I haven't tried the bond treatment yet. But I like to layer the foam under other curlsmith gels for both volume and definition and a bit of protein as my fine hair likes protein even with my hair being low to medium porosity.
Hey Angela! Thanks again for another great video. Question, how does the slip of the feather light protein cream compare to that of the cake curl friend defining cream?
Oooh GREAT question!! ⭐️ The slip is extremely similar! The textures are different - the Cake cream is runnier while the Curlsmith cream is a thicker more concentrated formula - but they both facilitate great slip and are super easy to distribute 💛
@@TheFitCurls Awesome, thanks so much!
I had been underwhelmed by curlsmith until this line came out. (Mama's curls need protein!) I top this cream & foam combo with a little bit of gel and WOW! I got to day 4 with AMAZING curls for the 1st time ever!
Love this!!!! It really is an excellent product line!
Bummer I thought you meant you and a video of you doing this pigtail cut! Would love to see that! My hair is the same length as yours and I want to try it but I haven’t seen anyone with loser curls and shorter hair do it yet!
I keep forgetting to film it 🤣 but I’ve followed her tutorial to the letter twice and it came out perfectly on my hair!
And now u gotta try the new products added to the line!! 👍🏾
Girl my wallet HURTS already 😂🤣
Lol...tell me about it
Oh no! Now I HAVE to try this. My wallet hates my curls! I already tried the bond curl rehab salve and it worked great.
Quick question, how did this compare to the Bounce Curl line? I saw your video on that and it looked amazing then too! Have you ever had a bad hair day? I love your hair!!
Okay you are too kind!! I definitely have bad hair days 🤣 It’s tough to compare these two lines because they’re such different product types! The Bounce Curl Gel is still one of my favorites of all time, but I think I personally lean more towards the Curlsmith products for my carnivorous curls 😂
Would have liked to see your results from the Bond Curl after your hair had dried. Also, does the Behairful brush hurt your scalp when you detangle with it?
Duly noted! And no, the Behairful brush actually feels MAGICAL on my scalp 😍
@@TheFitCurls Really? I just got mine and used it for the first time yesterday, and it was so painful on my scalp. I don't think I'll be able to use it for detangling.
@@Floridameerkat93 Hey, everyone’s hair and scalp are different! I highly recommend using it more on the mods and ends if that’s the case, or just detangling with a comb or wet brush in the shower :)
can you review their protein gel plz
Have you tried the net plopping that everyone is trying? I would be interested in seeing it on looser curls.
I haven’t yet but I’m intrigued! Thanks for the suggestion! xx
I can't wait to see your net plopping results!
Are these products meant to be used as a regular weekly wash or just as an every so often treatment? My hair craves protein. I'm really thinking about purchasing this.
Great question! The Bond Rehab Salve is not for every wash day but the stylers can be used as often as you want! xx
Do cream stylers tend to weigh down your curls at all? I have very fine wavy curls and mine tend to be easily weighed down with cream products, so I’m hesitating on trying this curl smith protein cream, even though it looks wonderful.
Not at all!! My hair is baby-fine as well, and I find that using the right amount of a good cream styler - like this one - helps my hair form good clumps and stay springy! I have a husband and a good friend who use the cream on its own and they get weightless defined curls! xx
It looks like (and I could easily be wrong) (and this isn’t meant as a criticism) you have more “halo” frizz than normal. If that’s true, what would you attribute that to?
I’m gonna go with my lack of experience with foam 😂 I’m on my second wash day with the products now and I’m already in better shape!
