- De groep Q65 of Q'65 is een Haagse popgroep uit de jaren 60 van de twintigste eeuw. De groep stond bekend om zijn ruwe sound. De naam van de groep werd vaak afgekort tot de 'Q', of 'Kjoe'. De groep werd opgericht door de gitaristen Joop Roelofs en Frank Nuyens, samen met zanger Wim Bieler. Bassist Peter Vink en drummer Jay Baar kenden elkaar al voor de oprichting in januari 1965 van Q65, van de band Leadbelly's Limited. De band debuteerde in 1966 met het album 'Revolution'.
In deze opname uit 1966 van het nummer 'Bring It On Home' van het album 'Revolution' bestond de groep uit:

Wim Bieler (zang, mondharmonica),

Q65 was a Dutch beatgroup in the 1960's. The group consisted of Frank Nuyens (guitar), Wim Bieler (vocals, harp, harmonica), Peter Vink (bass guitar), Joop Roelofs (guitar) and Jay Baar (drums), later Beer Klaasse (ex-Group 1850). Together with The Outsiders, the group was one of the most popular Dutch garage bands in the 1960s.

Ja klopt. Wally Tax (overigens een goeie kennis van de Q-boys) claimde het met zijn Outsiders maar the Q was echt de eerste (Pretty Things was hun voorbeeld maar die lieten het verder groeien nadat ze de Q hadden gezien).
