I never heard this as a kid, I love it now as a 67 y.o. kid.
Sadly, the lead guitar player of the Jokers, Mr. Ronny Sigo passed away last week. Great guitar player.
To bad they never really got the recognition they desrved. One of Belgium's best bands from the 60's.
Also check out their more experimental work from the later 60's called Spider 8. Psych Rock.
That is awful news, I only heard them for the 1 st time "Today" and I am already hooked.
Almost 58 years old, THOUGHT I knew Everything...HOW did I Miss These guys until Now?😯👍👍👍
The music of the 60's was so great.
The Jokers are swiftly becoming my favourite band in this genre.
a jazz master, the best fender ever made.....
60 years Too Late I've just become The Jokers biggest Fan.
Me too. can't stop listening this and sabre dance 💯🔥
It's never to late!
@@Vman_95 JES; The lead guitar player is a very talented Guitarist
Lebih baik terlambat daripada tidak sama sekali.
Salam dari Indonesia 🇮🇩
Me 2 pet.
I am 62 yrs old and my parents were always playing cool music like this. There was always a stack of albums or 45s on the record player. I don't remember The Jokers but I definitely recognize this song. I have recently learned about The Mustangs. Great memories of great music. I have this stuff playing on my Alexa in my garage. Love it. I live in a small 55 and up community and when neighbors stop by they enjoy listening. There's not much music I don't love. Greetings from Canada.
Coolio. We're living in a world that has never experienced anything. I just broke out my old hula hoop and kids started throwing rocks at me. Maybe because I was naked. I'm not sure.
Alex T 🤣🤣🤣
From where in Canada? I’m In Montréal, Québec.
@@jo-annbastings I am west of London Ontario.

Bring back Cool 🎸
That is one smooth tune. Guy on drums gets all the radio stations.
LOL!
No matter what , he is very underrated
One of the best instrumental group in sixties, The Fabulous Jokers !
I know this song when I was a boy of 10, 11 years old. Now I am 63, still like it. An amazing song.
I so LOVE the swoony vibe of those vintage Fender Jazzmaster guitars . I won't part with my 1961 that I bought cheap in 1976 and are still in style .
One of THEE coolest songs ever. Don't know how I missed this one!
What a deep sound so nice
DAYEM!
And from Belgium!
NICE FELLAS...if any of you are still alive!
Hell I'm 64 come 2020...jes sayin
Cooler than the other side of the pillow. I love Belgium 🇧🇪. Best wishes from England 🇬🇧 👏
One of my most favorite songs & genres. I grew up with my Dad playing The Ventures & such. And he was in a local band when I was very small :) Thank you for this TREASURE!
74 and I still keep rocking God bless from Indio California bless you guys Wherever You Are Heaven wherever
399 people disliked by accident. thats clearly what happened. This band was on another level.
you can't stop the change
They hit dislike when they recognized Lee Harvey Oswald on drums.
It's amazing how that drummer gets all of those percussion sounds out of two cymbals.
It's called "Talented" !
These cats are crazy good!!
Even more amazing are the invisible ghost backing vocals or the four musicians singing without a microphone. That´s real talent. I wonder where those guitar cables hanging from their guitars are going to.....
He usin' his toenails bruh. Don't you know anything?
@@Mauronog1 into the trees, I think 😄
They don't give a sh check out the Sabre Dance
Interesting!!! 60's were the best music ever........sooooo cool!!
Just love this simple tune of the sixties.
This is beyond cool! What excellent sound and performance. Every Ventures fan should be digging these guys!

Sounds like a wild west music. Nice.

music has 7 notes but some song has lived forever in my humble heart...
thank u for a like
Just found these lads, Talk about laid back love the sound well done lads liverpool
This song has grown on me in leaps and bounds since I added it to a playlist. Best thing besides football to come out of Belgium yet!
And Duvel.
Wish I had lived in the US/UK between 1953-1965...
The suits set the tone throughout.
Quite ethereal. Evokes outer space for me. Floating on the dark side of the moon.
Love this, it's just so "different" watching these play is magic of years gone by, great sound guys!
I know this song from an old album named "Taboo" by Alfred Apaca. I haven't heard it since I was a child...I loved it so much and this is such a great song done by these guys.
ARTHUR LYMON
Never heard this group before .and I like it ☺👍
Incredible how they played this without moving any finger on their left hands............
Incroyable moi qui suit fan des Shadows depuis 40 ans je ne connaissais pas 😳 excellent vraiment j'adore et je télécharge tout ce qu'ils ont fait 😉
excellent use of the whammy bar by the lead guitarist to create unique sounds!
Magnifique souvenir,merveilleuse musique chapeau rare!!!!!

Precision, Jazz master, Jazz master… the perfect combination….!
🎶🎸👍🏻
Mostalgie. Heb ze nog aan het werk gezien in zaal Den Hoorn in Oedelem. Was 17 jaar denk. Nog altijd prachtig.
Surfadelic!!!! With a touch of exotica .
Mysterious, dreamy and exotic. Love it
THE BAND WE SAW AT THEIR TIME YOU CANNOT SEE MORE THIS TIME... IN A BAR PLAYING IN BLANKENBERGE.....
I always thought that Belgium was an interesting and fun place to visit and after seeing the drummer in this clip , I can't wait !

F.JORKERS is fantastic!!
🌏🗾🇯🇵💖🇧🇪🇳🇱🥰
🍷🍷🍷🧀😂😚🥰
I love the way the rhythm guitar provides a great backdrop.
I was thinking how little excitement these guys exuded when that guitar freakout happened.
I wondered if Jimmy Page was aware of this music.
The belgian Shadows...appreciated.
Just heard them on the radio in 2024!! Wow!!!
All thumbs up...!!!
If you're listening to this You Are music savvy and cool
Makes 2 of us ben

Yay me!
Just ran into this tonight... the first few chords and I was hooked. SO.. tonight, I've discovered The Jokers and The Shadows
Thom Clark Yeah! It’s the shit :D
Mix of exotica and surf music. i like it.
What a knockout. Never heard of the Jokers before, but now, they will become a part of my musical world. Mucho thanx SamSamMusic for hipping me to this pleasant surprise~~~~Rock on
Loved these instrumental groups of the 50s and 60s such as the ventures and the shadows walk don't run by the ventures was a great dance theme
I like that they had a more chill, slowed down lounge vibe which was different from The Ventures.
That spacey echoed guitar part (similar at times to Syd Barrett's use of echoplex) is ahead of its time, and I really like the drop D guitar part near the end.
..wow! .. who knew that Edwyn Collins was a drummer back in the 60s? ...
That dude is shredding that guitar..!!!
That rhythm section - ahhhh
Maravillosoooooooo.woow
Suuuper!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *******************
while being the most famous anything from Belgium might be considered faint praise these guys were great, classic
Words fail me , but I like it .
ONVERGETELIJK !!!!!!!!! ONZE JOKERS !
It's amazing how many Shadows influenced bands there are in the World and that's no bad thing. Long live the guitar. Just heard that Bo Winberg of The Spotniks died yesterday aged 80 RIP.
Rick
-The 50s & early 60s had a lot of fast & slow cool instrumentals like this & more.
Years later, the drummer was excellent as a banjo player in Deliverence
Excellent
TOP MUSIC....POPCORN EXOTICA !!!! 👍👍👍
SUPER
Génial ! Le son de la belle époque ...
I just love this tune. Thankyou.
coul!!!!!!!!!
Okay this is now my new favorite old song! Spectacular. This song is cooler than James Bond in an Arctic Ice Bar.
That was only 3 minutes?? They suspended & expanded time. Felt like over 30 minutes of exquisite pleasure in my brain.
the drummer frightens me deeply.
looks like he's in a trans
they look like manaquins
a Bela Lugosi descendant?
.......fear all drummers.....
Gerald Pepermans
Incredible
Historical musical artifact!✨️
2:30 MIN
great guitar sound
Super souvenirs de jeunesse super slow
Nothing like a threesome of vintage Fender guitars all playing in sync . Only Fender guitars up rooted the shine & gloss of a hit song !
SUPER !!!
Super musique 🎶
super tres bien
thanks a lot very good music
Fantastic.
Cool, these guys were great. Especially that one guy doing some proto-Jeff Beck moves on the fretboard.
Le son magique des origines.
"A band called The Jokers were laying it down ..."
Magnifique
fantastica
Very spacey!! Love the low tuned baritone guitar.
chuckroast101 Yes. Sexy.
2 fender jazzmasters and a p bass
@@Bill-wb5jv Yes, in the video, but the recording definitely sounds like a baritone guitar of some type.
Nice classic legendary band
The comment below frightens me. That said, this is a great group, great sound. I like it. PERIOD.
na al die jaren nog altij fantastico
Nearly fell off my chair when the drummer grimaced at his own image on the monitor.
Gomer Pyyyyle. !!!!
I had never heard of these guys now I need to find some of there recording great stuff
