- After the recent shooting at Collom St, Germantown Masjid showed their neighbors and the wider community that they are here to support and help them.
We already pay for security to patrol parts of the avenue twice a day, and we are currently looking to provide that service to the affected area - may Allah make it easy.
May Allah protect our communities and grant us all safety and security.

May Allah bless the brothers and sisters in Germantown and safeguard them all. It is beautiful to see the community standing up for what is good and what is correct. We do in fact have that responsibility! The problem of street violence is one that Islam can and does solve. The west, no doubt, needs Islam. I grew up in Chicago and it was the same way. Islam has the cure.
Yeah, we've seen The "Cure" in the Mid, East..... hanging from a crane. SO Riteous. Pffft.
May Allah rectify and bless the community over there.. alhamdulilah you have people of sunnah trying to call to what is right and inshaAllah the violence will come to an end, just as it came to an end when Islam eradicated the affairs of pre islamic ignorance.
