at the moment, the T-90 is the world's most hardy tank, in Syria in the T-90A (modification of the 92nd year), two anti-tank missiles and an RPG with a tandem grenade and a tank on the go were hit. The leopard 2A4 was destroyed by the first hit, the towers took off air and the knockout panels did not save .
Leopard 2A4 is right now around 35 years old (and 2A4 from Syria are the oldest models possible) no wonder they can't survive a new ATGM to the SIDE, TO THE SIDE.
First batch of Leoaprd 2A4 is indeed 33 years old, but T-90 in Syria are a mix of A and T-90 (T-90A is from 2004 so stfu). Also they use the oldest Leopards 2A4 (Leopard 2A3 upgrade which was upgraded from 2A2 etc...) so if, you're to count, they're 39 years old. Also it was made for tank to tank combat, and have supreme frontal protection, not good all around one which we see in T-90.
Do not compare T-90A and T-90MS. T-90A is a cheaper modification of the T-80 tank. The T-90MS tank is a completely new tank, it has nothing in common with the T-90A tank. T-90MS is not a modernization of the T-90A, it's a completely new tank.

M84 was just based on T72 but it's different and actually was far better than T90 and today Serbia haves upgraded M84 and still plans to upgrade further more alongside T90 upgrades. Back then when M84 came out they were the best tanks in the world so it couldn't be an T72 even in a dream.

Video clearly showed ERA was offline. Anyways, either cumulative armor or passive one absorbed the missile and it did extremely well. Oh, and if you want to buy real equipment for your army get RPG-28 from Russia it has 1000mm penetration after ERA tandem charge. Effectiveness long surpassed the Abrams frontal armor. Also, for each TOW2A missile you will get virtually unlimited number of RPG28 xD. It cost just $500 each after tax xD. You can thank me later.

Сроки пока не ясны, но к следующему году думаю окончательно определятся.
