Started with an 05 Ego... and fell in love with Planet Eclipse. Owned a handful of markers and still have my Geo 3.1. It just works. Been to a handful of games and never once had to take time and sit out because of my marker not working unlike friends and family members with Dye markers or other older things. I'd love to upgrade but at this point in my life there are not many places to play in northern Michigan and the paintball budget is thin with having a large family. I'd love to own a shop / field one day but that's still in my dreams. Thank you for your videos I really enjoy your content!
The only reason a Dye gun goes down is because of misuse and not maintaining the marker properly. The Dye matrix is the most advance marker ever made and is unmatched in shot quality and accuracy. Having the best means you need to take care of it and replace some o-rings. But you act like you've never greased your PE or replaced an o-ring which I know is not true...
Reliability is everything. All I ever done to my Eclipse markers are lubing the o rings the night before and sometimes cleaning them. I own a cs2 and an Emek, the only markers i'll ever need. Spire 3 and a ninja tank.
Agreed, troubleshooting is super easy and straightforward. I love being able to hand over an emek to my guests and just know it's going to work. The emek is a huge step up from the rental tippmanns and helps provide a kickass paintball experience.
I loved playing paintball in the late 90’s and early to mid 2000’s and miss my old Angel’s, Autococker’s, and Auto Mags. I wish I was able to get back into the sport. Great videos Brad!
Same here. Just getting back into the sport after 15+ years gone. Since mechanical seems to be coming back into popularity, I'm sure I will do just fine with my old Autococker I still have.
Absolutely love my Geo4 and the swoosh. PE lasts and lasts and lasts, they are the Honda and Toyotas of the paintball world. You have great taste and some good points throughout.
Haven’t seen much Forces have issues either. I think Field One doing a great job getting that reputation of great build quality and reliability as well
The F1 Force is my go to when I'm playing points or any of my other markers go down. It's reliable, consistent, easy on paint ( never broke a ball in the breech with the eyes on ) and low maintenance. They even use the U-type o-rings. Just get the li-po battery and you're set!
Absolutely, I do like the Force. I'm actually kinda of surprised. I hated all the Bob Long spool style guns, and the Force still reminds me to much of those.
Not a fan of the F1 force they look ugly IMO and you have to use a wrench to take that bolt apart. They just lack some of the higher conveniences of other guns for that super high end price tag
I feel ya with the tank length. I'm 6'3", and still shooting a 68/45, and I feel like I have to push my shoulder way forward 90% of the time. I find the shorter length can be nice sometimes if you're snapping out of a small dorito and you're kinda cornered, so you have to play super tight. The big problem with that is when I would pull up off the gate with my old main marker, the snatch grip on the back would scratch my lenses.
I use the EXACT same setup. Love it and CAN'T complain about anything what so ever. This is actually my first Geo and only my second PE gun. Before the geo4 I had a M2 mosair and a G6R. I still have my ripper G6R, but replaced my M2 with the Geo4 and I have nothing but positives to say about my switch. Love Dye and Bob Long/Field One guns...but wow the Geo4 is badass! Love the barrel, love the board, build, how comfortable it is in my hands. Love the pointing and snap shooting of the Geo4...it's the best gun out there ATM, in my opinion.
Have a cs2. I love it. My boy has a 1.5 and my other friend a geo4 pretty much same bolt wise and i love em. Have shot both and i will always stick w planet eclipse ngl
So I'm thinking about getting a geo 4, or a tm40. I am curious what makes you stay using the geo vs tm40? Everyone claims the tm40 is so great, but I'm leaning towards the geo. What makes you keep using yours?
I'll never talk down on PE markers, they're awesome guns. But I've been using a Macdev for a little over a year and have been incredibly happy with it, I like the shot characteristics of it, and it has been incredibly reliable for me. Over 20 cases through it so far with no issues.
My Prime XTS failed for the first time in over 30k shots this past weekend and it was only because of a few things that I did wrong. I had a dying battery, had not increased the dwell to account for the cold (which they instruct you to do) and had used bad grease. As soon as I rectified those issues, the gun ran flawlessly. People love to talk shit about MacDev but the Infinity Drive is one of the simplest and most reliable drives in paintball today and you have to actively try to make it fail (like how I did).
You still coming out with the virtue ace vs adrenaline luxe vs tm40 video? I’d be curious as the slight differences between the 3 different versions of the base model gun.
I’m curious what data is out there to say the new luxe x’s aren’t as reliable as these. I’m in luxe groups, own one and haven’t had a single issue. I’m specifically talking the x not the older luxe’s.
I just recently bought a First Strike T15 and Tippman TiPX after using my modified Tippman Cronus for so many years. Although I still plan on using it, I can't wait to use my new setup! :D
@@justalpha9138 What kind of player are you? Woodsball/recball? Or are you running into the speedball field with a T15? If you’re wanting to get into the speedball field and have a better shot advantage I’d highly recommend the shocker AMP. It’s often compared to the geo 4, but it’s cheaper.
@@maxwellav I'm definitely a woodsball player for the most part, although I have been able to succeed in the speedball field with my T-15. It just requires good decision-making and careful aim which I really love.

I just bought a used Etek5 and now I'm looking at upgrading and as much as the Luxe bros try to sell me on it the guy I trust most is trying to talk me into the Geo 4. Honestly it's coming down to price now. A Lux 2.0 can be found for less than $800 now, and with the 4s being new to market, it'll be a stretch to find one someone is willing to part with for less than 1k.
ah crap. Just getting back into paintball and needed a new tank after many years. I had 2 old 68ci tanks... didn't know the new 68s are shorter! Hope it ends up okay.
I might finally leave my G6R for an LV2...if they get rid of that pipe. I CANT with that damn pipe...just can't! It gets all in my way when switching sides, etc. I guess I've been too spoiled by my G6R, M2, Geo4 and past guns like my Luxe X and Ice...hated the reliability of the Luxe platform. Even with how much I baby the shit out of my guns...my Luxes always found a way to go down about once every 1-2 outings.

Out of Curiosity ever tried the 88/90ci tanks? I'm a taller guy also and ever since I switched to that size I can't use anything else. it's just the most comfortable feel around.
I have. I used to use a 77 with tank extender. I sometimes like the length. The extra length of the 90 made it hard to get small and snap shot well. I also find that my arm angle changed enough with the 90 that my wrist/arm hits the tank more instead of going in front of the bottle.
