It surprises me how many people will park on those hash’s. The reason for those are to allow wheelchairs to get out and for the car doors to open wide so people can turn and get both legs out before standing and again trying to get in. If you get out of your car in that tight of space you don’t need those spots. Just don’t be lazy and rude to people who have mobility issues. I always say I will trade you for this parking space, for your legs any day.
A number of years ago I was parked in my little Ford Puma well inside both white lines. When I returned some Muppet had parked within inches of my driver's side. Fortunately, I was able to get in from the passenger side and move into the driver's seat without impaling myself on the gear knob or parking brake.
Thank you for helping out that private property owner who wanted that white work van removed from his cabin driveway despite the challenges you face in responding to these types of calls.

Some individuals are so entitled that they think they can park wherever they want and the hell with everyone else, those "people" should be charged twice or even triple the illegal parking fee just so they can learn a valuable lesson, like don't park where you ain't supposed to park. I'm not sure what city governments are thinking when they don't provide free parking for commerce and tourism, strange. I can definitely understand the property owners dilemma. Bad planning and management leads to some cities just being a bad place to visit.
Gave a car the special striped job for parking like that, I had to climb thru the passenger door to get to driver side. Their door was etched with a NOTE!
We have high winds, and even bigger mobile homes need to be “strapped.” But yeah,always ask a local before you go or say you don’t need it, it just might cost you a bunch.

Not too many people carry cash these days, but I fully understand the decision to accept only cash. So many people pass bad checks or as I have heard you all mention, charging on the 'card' and then disputing it. My wife used to work for a collections agency, and disputing card charges is a real big problem. Even bad checks is a problem. Their collection agency as well would only accept CASH from debtors when making payments. We've been to Gatlinburg a LOT of times over the past four years, and I never realized that illegal parkers was this huge of a problem. I like the municipal parking garages. Only $10 for all day, and it is covered. A friend at work goes to Gatlinburg, and he prefers to park at the Gatlinburg Welcome center (for free) and take the free trolley into town. And you don't have to fuss with driving and maneuvering in that traffic. Can't beat that.

Dodge pro masters are front wheel drive…all of them. Ford transits are rear wheel drive. But he was nosed in so dolleys yes. Or drag it out and hook it from the front like I do 😂 great video either way
😮 this is a simple fix. If they call in on somebody who is working on that site, before you leave your property you have them agree to a $500 charge if they are wrong. I guarantee you'll get less and less of these wrong calls
"Hash area" = Loading zone/walking area. Not even disabled persons can park there, ever. These people are ignorant, especially when she says "how am I supposed to get there!" She obviously has no common sense because she parked where anybody that has a valid driver's license knows that they can't park. Y'all are so much more patient than I would ever be.
