    I tried this after dealing with bppv for about a week. I was extremely dizzy after each step and was very nauseated for about 30 minutes after the maneuver. I felt so bad that I was worried I had just dislodged more crystals 😅. I took an hour nap and when I woke up all my vertigo was gone! Thank you very much for your very informative and helpful content!

      Amazing! Occasionally, I’ve had people with nausea and vomiting Even though the maneuver was successful, it can be very scary, but I’m glad you got relief!

    My vertigo lasts for months at a time only on the right. I do a maneuver where I lay on my back in bed, tilt my head at about 45 degrees and chin up to the right and hang on for dear life until it passes. It doesn’t last, I will have vertigo throughout the day, or for some miracle it just stops. This has been going on for 12 years.
    I can’t do the movements you do, as that kind of flexibility I don’t have, plus it will never work in my bed. If I dropped my head I would be in trouble.

      Yes, the maneuvers are somewhat difficult to do especially if you don’t have the flexibility. Have you tried the foster maneuver? It requires a different amount of flexibility, but it doesn’t require you to have your head over the edge of the bed. I do have that in my BPPV playlist of treatment options.

    How long should I wait before doing a repetition?

    If Epley or Semont is done at home but improperly, will it cause more problems? Thanks!

    • @treatdizzinessathome2023
      @treatdizzinessathome2023  Месяц назад

      If not done quite correctly essentially you could convert a stone into the horizontal canal, this would feel worse. Which requires a different treatment technique. I do have a full playlist on BPPV and different maneuvers but yes it does Carry a risk to perform self maneuvers.

    Would this be beneficial to do it on both sides?

      Not unless you have BPPV identified in both ears. And with my clients, I only treat one ear with in 48 hours.
