We want this promotion in europe too !
That cool sound of rotation fourth axis reminds me iron Man suit movement.
That's true! 🤣
Recently found this channel, love every single one of your videos, very educational and motivating, it's really great!
I also did work alot with cnc milling, with Mazak and Haas machines in Norway, with advanced machining and programming, this is very inspirational, keep it up! :D
Great videos! I planning purchase Tormach 1100MX. Video inspire me to continue to grow and expand my business!!! Thanks!!!
Thanks Nicole, I just picked up core 5, harvi1 and harvi 3s for my 770mx that i just ordered. Cant ait to learn more from you guys.
Looks great, the new machine looks good as well))
excellent intro into 4th axis
Titan of cnc is the shit! I watch all titans videos helped me so much thanks guys keep it up
Are you in the TITANS of CNC Academy FB Group? : )
Inspiring way to start the day! Didnt get the Kor5 buy now to work but could be this goofy phone. Keep starting the day right, A+
Nah, the kennemetal page is terrible. It's almost like they don't want people to buy their stuff. They make it so damn hard.
Excellent 👍👍 greetings from Mexico.
Thanks for this video!👍🇩🇪
Awesome!!! Thank you again for this unparalleled insight! Trying to fix me, lol
Thanks Nicole, awesome as always. This was a super helpful tip to do the chamfer by slotting behind the back face before parting. I had always done it in a second op in the vice, and that totally makes sense. I love my Microarc 4, and I love that the latest path pilot fixed a bunch of the preview issues with the 4th axis. Any chance you're planning a rotary tool path video? I don't own a lathe and a few times I have attempted a rotary path on it I end up with shredded metal rather than something that looks turned. (I've done plenty of 4th axis wrapped paths without a problem).
My RUclips celebrity crush! Love your vids Nicole.
The issue with the way you did it is it will leave a lot of chatter on the bottom of the part, and you still have to clean up where you broke the part off. I prefer to come in from 3 sides, cutting essentially a rectangular pocket, then doing a cleanup pass. This leaves small tabs that can be cut with snips, and can be done with no chatter, or possibility of eating the part and braking an endmill.
Ahhhhh experience! 🙂
Thinking about getting one
Nice!
nice boom master
Are you having good luck holding a carbide endmill with the set screw?
SEEMS LIKE A WASTE OF MATERIAL JUST TO CUT OFF THE PART !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was thinking the same thing just a small grove would do
At most they lost .10 a part for how small that aluminum is. No big deal lol
time costs more than material - same thing as holding Titan 1M in Vice
Using a 1/2 end mill to cut off does seem like a lot of waste. Looks like 50%.
aluminium costs barely anything, for the time saved this is totally cost efficient
Wow super madem
Thank you! Please show us how to use different work offsets on a tormach and fusion 360.
Please Do!
🥳
Does tormach make a 5c collect 4th axis?
What was the feeds and speeds for that side mill action? For the “facing”
Try S4000 F18.
I have one question regarding angle
I have 38 degree v groove profile in 10 mm length
What would be considered tolerance in angle.
[10-50°]
f +- 0° 30´
m +- 1° 00´
c +- 1° 30´
If there is nothing on you print, go by "m"

@@who-but-n33 gotcha
Thank you so muchhhhh
Any chance of teaching heidenhain?
That is a lathe with live tooling part, anyway nice work.
Clicking buy now on the kennemetal link just takes me to another informational web page with no options to purchase. Please tell me how to get the deal, or fix the website if its broken. Thanks
Sorry to hear that. Please contact us at this address K-Global-Marketing.Tech@kennametal.com we'll be happy to help.
Why use a roll tap on a bit of ally tho 🤔
Is this a true forth axis or just an indexer? Also that is a huge waste of relatively expensive material, milling it then saw cutting it close to size then face milling the back off would waste less material and give a better finish than using an endmill as a cutoff tool them breaking it off.
Is the tormach 4th axis a true simultaneous machining 4th axis or an indexing 4th axis?
Indexing 4th axis
Simultaneous 4th.
Cool vid, kinda wastful to use a 1/2 inch to part off though
It's an example....
Yup, I'm in agreement
@@urgamecshk an example is something to refer to
Хорошая девочка, умная
what happened to the Aussies?????
What do you mean by that?
I live in Australia and we can’t get the good deals on the Kennametal milking cutter. No biggie
@@PowerRepublic So do I always paying top dollar.
Chattered quite a bit, 1/2 inch tools may be a bit much for a tormach
What? No boom?
$41 for what size endmill?
3/8
The 1/2 inch ones are $56 I believe
@@keithmo80 that's not bad actually. I thought they were like $100 for 1/2 on MSC
My boss would kill me if i waste so much material for such a easy part 😅
Let me just double the cycle time and use twice the material so I don't have to spend 10 seconds grinding the back of the part off. Good luck in a real machine shop 🤣
Algum brasileiro que trabalhe com usinagem CNC, quero entender a realidade, para trabalhar nos USA. Se alguem puder e quiser me ajudar!
Obrigado!
Some Brazilian who works with CNC machining, I want to understand the reality, to work in the USA. If anyone can and want to help me!
Thanks! @fabinotarouco
That doesn't sound to good, a lot of chatter.
I find you guys push everything to the limit.
I have tooling that I run every day, holding .0002" that I haven't changed in about four years.
Chatter/vibration= chipped tooling.
You have to let the tool cut, not hammer into the part.
If you want to run fast, use a lower feed untill you are engaged into the material & then ramp it up, but for what I saw, 1 rgh pass, then 1 fin pass for each side of hex would have sufficed.
My personal experience 36 yrs
The stunning level of inefficiency makes my soul bleed. Tool selection alone makes my teeth itch. And how long are you cutting those aluminum bars, exactly, that you think you're doing multiple before the material starts moving and breaking apart that wonderful carbide?
You should always reflect that just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
Please consider taking you own sage advice. You offer nothing constructive. This is not a master class in 4th axis machining. It shows beginners and those unfamiliar a single simple example of what can be accomplished on a budget machine using a newly released bit of kit.
Most machine shops are not like the Show! Most are nasty/ dirty with low life owners!
Most shops only keep enough work for a couple of weeks, maybe month max
They have shows like this because people hate working in machine shop and the industry can not replacing the people.
I regret getting into this business....
Run More and faster with less pay!
I wish you tube would not feed this crap to my app
Stay away.
WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP HYPING THIS MADE IN CHINA CNC? NO ONE WANTS TO SEE VIDEOS ON TORMACH. AT ALL. EVER.
That's just you
Actually, you are quite mistaken. What no one, and i mean NO ONE, wants to see is useless comments like yours! So, you really have to ask yourself, "Why the HELL do I (meaning you) keep making useless comments regarding TORMACH machining videos?" In fact, why do you even watch these videos at all? Surely you have better things to do with your valuable time? Please save your precious knowledge for sharing somewhere where it will be fully appreciated. And that place is most definitely not HERE...
