You are so right, my main problem are with kids and teens using live and just the chat spamming things like "change your fit" or "what color are your socks?" and so many child's and teens show their feet and dance in their underwear after they see the chat light up. It's so sad to see these kids and teens be exploited by internet randoms for views and money.
Virtual RUclipsr (or VTuber) here, and yeah. It's awwwwful here! I stream on YT Live, Twitch, and Kick, and RUclips is dead last for everything. A VTuber just sang at a Dodger's game and RUclips doesn't even have a category for VTubers.
The video started auto playing before I could start it. So I mashed j to rewind to the beginning... The "YOUYOUYOU" sounded like some sort of Simlish lmfao
I'm the opposite, I can't stand watching livestreams. I've tried the recorded ones to watch later but I can't tune out and do housework to it or anything because it's so disjointed, constantly stopping to respond to some comment that I'm either not reading or can't focus on even if I'm watching the screen. I agree that they need more moderation and their own tab so they stay out of my main pages
God I hate livestreams. I like when they’re cut down and edited, but at that point why not just watch one of their regular streams??? It’s also awful that moderation sucks so hard it might as well not exist
Fr, lives are stressful cuz if I need to focus for a moment then I'm behind on the video which makes any participation behind by that amount, I can only watch vods, and at that point it's rather watch a video, there is only one stranger that I have ever found entertaining enough to watch lol
"invisible underwear haul" sounds like a format that enterprising Twitchers would come up with only for a carefully worded ban/ToS change to appear a couple of days later saying that invisible underwear can only be demonstrated over non-skin tone underwear that must be full coverage briefs or similar.
I have been on youtube for a long time and Im glad to see some people actually talk about how bad the youtube live tab is alot. You see so much stuff thats legit not allowed on youtube top the live tab with alot of view bots, meanwhile I stream and its still hard for people to even find my channel's streams or someone elses. Also youtube's viewer counter can mess up alot, there was this one livestream I did where I had around 4 people I know chatting in the livestream (some people were chating while in discord and some people were talking in the yt chat) and the viewer count went from like 6 people than down to 1 than up to 10 than down to 1 in the span of a couple of minutes and it kept doing this over the course of an hour on the livestream. So the livestream system cant be perfect sometimes either. Also arent those giveaway livestreams with requirements saying you have to subscribe and then go into another thing considered illegal lotteries? I might be wrong on that last question but if you can correct me.
I mean there’s this one streamer whose content is really bad. He took like a 3 month break and recently came back yesterday. He’s convinced himself into thinking that he’s the best Pokémon trainer, and even eats rotten eggs and cat food for fun, unfortunately I’m forgetting the name of the streamer, but I think you should make a vid on him

Honestly, I just learn about RUclips streamers through word of mouth. Which isn’t the best marketing strategy for live content
