Both Plottr and Fictionary intrigue me. Plus, I like how you move freely from one to the other, depending on what stage of the writing process you're in. Thanks for making this - I just subscribed!😊
I use both Microsoft word (on my laptop) and google docs (on my pc.) They are both very useful. I'll have to try the other recommended apps you mentioned.
Hi Nancy. I have lifetime subscriptions for both Plottr and Dabble, and of course, Microsoft Word. However, I was unfamiliar with some of your other tools, particularly Fictionary. This one sounds very interesting to me and I'll definitely check it out. Thank you! P.S. I just subscribed to your channel.
@@Oaxa2023 Oof. I have no experience with that but I imagine you still have to have the right pacing and enough conflict to Lee it engaging. Dabble is always great for any rough drafts, distraction free. Perhaps Fictionary for pacing. Let me know if you make a decision!
I always like to get more ideas about how to use AI to improve my writing. Each of the tools you mentioned has various subscription levels. Can you point out the subscription level you might think is necessary for each app? Also, I wonder if one needs or benefits from certain tools if one is writing creative non-fiction or memoirs.
@@BruceWhealton No matter what you’re writing, Dabble is terribly helpful because it provides distraction free writing and a way to keep notes. As for subscription levels, start with the lowest. That way you’re not paying for anything you don’t need. If you bump up against features that require a higher subscription, then you can decide to upgrade.
I'm having two issues. First, the book was in a PDF which Google converted to a Word Doc. During the conversion, all of the formatting became scrambled. Second, I need to add a Prologue or some sort of introduction at the beginning and move a section to the end but because of the formatting issues, I'm afraid to touch it!
Any application to write a book without writing ? And it writes for you. I heard something like that. I am french speaker but want to write in english ( auto biography) also i have issues writing the content
@@Priska_Kelly Hm, I know nothing about writing memoirs. Perhaps take a class? But I suggest writing the book in your own language first. It can always be translated.
@nancybasileauthor but do you know any app which help with writing books ? It is an autobiography .already started but my question is about the app mainly .not the language I just mentioned it because the person who told me about such app is french thats all .but its not an issue . Thanks
@ All of the apps in this video will help you write. But I wouldn’t recommend anything that would write it for you. Because that’s not writing. Try Googling how to write a memoir or autobiography. Or dictate it to a ghostwriter.

I use Libre Office when typing. However, when I send my manuscript to my editor, I convert my file into Microsoft Word.
