Respect! Man knows his stuff. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I'm always learning from outstanding shooters like you such as hand placement of the left hand meeting the gun. Little things like this is what I look for and tend to pick up the most. It's the small things that truly makes a huge difference. Keep sharing and teaching. 👍👍💯💯🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thanks mate for your tips.
Thanks sir!
@Tactical-Life - Is that a Safariland ALS holster? If so, do you think it's much better than the GLS?
I generally practice my draw at 7 yards, on an 8" plate. Sometimes at 10 yards, on a 10" plate. I actually made myself a nice silhouette target today, to practice on. It's a 6"x6" head, with a 12"x18" torso. I'm pretty sure that's the IDPA -0, and -1 zones. Can't wait to practice the F.A.S.T. drill on it! I think I'll etch the 8" -0 zone into the center of it, too. And then etch a line between the head, and torso, for the -0 head portion. A can of spray paint, and I can practice for hours, without changing paper, or patching shot holes.
It's a year later, so how'd it go?
i like when he said they're all pretty good hits
I REALLY thought the PS 1 intro was playing when the video started
Pretty good, not just a speed shooter but proper acquisition of target first. Seems more rounds fired are replacing accurate shooting nowadays.

All very important. BUT, once you get all this into your head, and hand, you must then figure out what you're gonna do when that static target leans forward, hunches down and charges you - reducing his distance from 25' to 2' just as your gun comes level. It does not matter if you're being charged by a knife/club/fist welding attacker or are being shot at by an attacker, you'd better MOVE, and be able to shoot accurately while doing so. If being shot at, get to cover - shooting as you go. If being charged, expect to be doing all your shooting from a less than perfect 'shooter's stance.'. If the attacker is targeting someone else, NOW you can take the perfect shooter's stance.
Thanks for the tactical shooting tips in the comments section on RUclips.
MCM; You do understand that is Robert Vogel, multi world and national champion as well as retired LEO correct? I think he has it figured out…
I feel bad for the bad guys if Bob Vogle is around. He could double tap 6 people, each in the eyeball, from 10 yards, before any of them could even draw.
3:13 - Come on Bob!
@Mark - I immediately jumped out of my chair when I saw him point the gun at the camera.
@@reachblowsdick7222 They most likely told him to do that. The weapon is empty during this demonstration and just because there is a camera doesn't mean someone is behind at that moment...
@@@asce9182 - I was being sarcastic. I really doubt Robert would point a pistol loaded or unloaded to a camera operator.
@@reachblowsdick7222 Yeah understood. The reply was also meant for Mark. I didn't mean for it to notify you.
The video has been sped up (about 20%) so that it looks more impressive. I compared his shot timer to my own, and did the math to verify.
I disagree, there's no transition after the shooting and him talking. If he cut the shooting clip out to speed it up, there would be a black transition or his speech would be sped up also.
@@MichaelCook1981 slow the video down and use your own timer.
If slow down the video, then of course the timer is off. If you play it at 29.97 fps the timer is on, if you slow or speed up the frame rate then of course the timer is off.
It’s NOT sped up. He IS just that good. You need more trigger time Ranger 13
@@johnklein4558 lol First, slow the video down and get your stop watch out; it's definitely sped up, probably to appear more impressive to sell DVDs. Second, you don't know shit about me, what I do for a living (I shoot for a living), or what my level of competency is.
Stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Or don't, it's no loss to me.
