My husband had this op 12 years ago. A whole new normal. He still has the cough. Not as badly.. he was in hospital for 27 days.. keep getting better.. Judy
I had the luck of having the son of the surgeon who invented this procedure Dr Steven DeMeester who has just retired, here in Portland Oregon good luck with your 5 1/2 cancer free timeline…I’m 1 1/2 year out free of cancer after my surgery. Still trying to get my weight back, currently at 145lb after being 180lb, so far so good…much luck
I find they did mine slightly different. But the shortness of breath definatly a thing , try to breath to deep and it makes you cough. The worst part by far for me is no food by mouth for 4 weeks . And tethered to this dang pupmp
