"For Sale One Owner Never been on gravel" 🤣 Like A ROCK 😂
You need to install heat cables on the roof. It will prevent the build up. Just flip a breaker and the rest takes care of itself.
CHET! ERIC! BRODY! DOUGO! That was a real treat seeing Merlin on camera!! We all know he doesn't like it, and we all understand but I know everyone watching could sit for HOURs and just listen to him talk, even though we've never gotten to see that. We love Dougo and his chats, we all know Merlin would be no different. The decades upon decades of farming experience and knowledge, the stories...that's generational knowledge and is absolutely priceless. So do thank him for all of us!
I know Chet hates Winter, but as a viewer I love it! When Chet, Eric and Brody are all stuck in the shop together it's guaranteed laughs. Then Dougo usually swings by and it just dissolves from there!
The black thing for your rope is a sleeve I believe for wrapping it around objects that may damage the rope. I may be wrong but I’ve seen those before being used as sleeves. Your videos are awesome!
Gotta love Big swede "Dodge doesn't break down because they don't make em anymore"🤣🤣🤣
Bolt on winch. That way you can snatch to what you are pulling and hook to the receiver with the end of your winch cable.
Good to see Merlin in a video. Dang Dougo breaking his window.
Yeah. It's like a little stone thingie. Sort of. Love your work.
love this one lots of playfull banter keepem coming
Don't get me wrong, I love *every* video you guys produce, but this one was a total *gem.* I've never laughed so many times, and having Merlin on video was a real treat. Thanks for the much needed chuckle on a cold winter day. You boys are awesome.
I watched a you tube video on electric window the guy said clean the terminals on the switch and check using battery charging clips one way is up reverse terminals and the window will go the opposite way works good if your motor is good and your switch is bad. Worked great no need to remove inside door panel.
one less engnine bolt aint a problem we had a 6215r runig with just one bolt for i dont know 2000h and it was no problem
Are you guys attending the National Farm Machinery show here in Louisville next month?
It's good to know that when my uncle gets a 2 track if he does to change the boggy wheel oil alot. He was looking at a 8300t or so I think. But never really got one.
Whatever you do, get a winch That goes into a 2-in receiver. You will wonder how you ever live without one. You'll be able to put it on that trailer. You'll be able to put it on your truck. You'll be able to put it on anything with that two inch receiver. You will be adding 2inch receiver to things so that you can put the winch on it
You need a few Dremel Tools and a set of the stones and sander tools, wheels and disc sanders. For the details sanding and cleaning up terminals. Harbor freight had good sets and bulk sanding drums.
I know your grandpa hates the camera but the stories he could tell would be amazing.
stay with a hitch mount winch, that way you can use in on the trucks as well
Nice to see Merlin, but I get the impression he does not have the same sense of humor that you guys have. As usual, impressed with all the nice equipment, and equally impressed with how you maintain them.
Love these shop videos!
I'm not complaining but your new theme tune reminded me of Tool Time ! Again not bad , but a good memory it gave me.
Good to see Grampa in the video, and name the tractor green regret
Merlin!!! So cool the camera is growing on him a little bit. Maybe he will start his own channel like Amy did🤔
😎👍
I was gonna turn off notifications for Nicole's Untold Gold but it feels wrong🥺
Today's job; stand around a Chevy and try to figure out what went wrong.
Ha Ha Luv it! Thanks guys
I'm not a farmer, I admire all farmers, Larson, Corn Star and Millennial I watch. Makes me feel good to see others have troubles far more than my paralyzed self. You put up with up all kinds troubles. Man made, nature made. God made both, no cussig no arguments, how do you do it? Only a few things that helps, Jesus, after you're dead and judged, a savior. Insurance while you're lliving, replaces things. Bank Loans, to keep ahead of things [this year seed/fertilizer.] Thank God he made USA farmers. Trump tax exemption to pass the farm on. Gov. subidies come in handy and all tax breaks as ''farms'' is a businesses. Yet you never give up that we all are thankful for.
Dougo is the nicest looking one. Even illegal invaders, that have nothing, keep shaved and good hair cuts. Equipment, barns, and bins, all shine. Land, homes are kept up. You forgot yourselves. Look clean like your farms. Start a family, PASS the farm on.
Merlin should be put in charge of supervising the shop crew in the winter.
hey chet how are you, after watching matts offroad recoveries you should probably look at harbor freight badlands winch.
Some snow fences on that roof might not be a terrible idea
I want to see Brody’s detail job in the “turd”.
Looks like your two FIAT tractors are both broken. Hmmm would that happen to a Deere? 😜
CNH not fiat.
@@ColtonBlumhagen yup Fiat own New Holland as well. Its all Fiat products.
You don’t have an Agronomist at the farm, you have a FERTILIZER SALESPERSON!! 0:10
Loose engine mount bolt is nothing, at least it's still there, in it's place.
Dodges just rust away!!
Now we know. You know.
Tree and sharp edge protector
Hey Duggo those dodges don't make it to 200,000 🤣
Wipe those lenses with WD40 ..it will clean up the fog from it...
sleeves
👍
Chevy thunder
Maybe take your spare time and work for fast ag
Nice to see grandpa on the channel, I bet he’s seen a lot of changes in his life on the farm.
Oh my yes, there has been major changes in the years that he has been around for sure!! Just as there has been major changes in the years that I have been around. Yes I have been around for 65 years on my Grandpa's & my Dad's farms, here in Washington State.
❤❤❤
Seeing Brody and Erik joke around with Merlin made me smile knowing he’s opening up to the camera
Remember Brody is a Grandson-in-law. (He's married to Randy's daughter)
Erik picking on Grandpa is great. And grandpa giving it right back.
I agree 🤣
Your grandpa appears to be loosing up around the camera, and that's a good thing. MAYBE, just maybe you could get 3 generations around a table to document where the farm came from to where it is now and the future. Bet he's got a load of stories that he could tell too.
An interview would be amazing. Must see TV.
It will be the same old story how they left poverty, misery and starvation in Sweden and left for the promised land were their efforts paid off. 😉
How could I know?,I still live in Sweden, born free-being taxed to death! 😅
Jokes aside, that would be great! With some historical hindsight!
@@snickrologen Larson is Hebrew
@@ericduarte4307 hahaha 🤣
THIS WOULD BE SOOOOO INTERESTING!!! Please think about doing it !❤❤❤
Merlin is the block Chet and Dougo are chips of !!
Nice to see Merlin not telling you to get the camera out of his face. Gotta love when the grandpas give you heck
Best vid with Grampa was working on the Old JD. Get it restored for him. Surprise!
Do you use the same quadtrac every time you use the big dump trailer possibly the dump trailer put too much hydraulic fluid back into the tractor at some point in some way
A tree spade going to North Dakota. If he plants one tree, the North Dakota will have one tree.
Grandpa has a great truck.RESPECT 👍🇨🇦
Way to go grandpa!!!you give those young bucks a talking too!!! Lol.
Wish yall could have grandpa on more and have him tell stories of the old days
how bad dougo was as a kid?
We need more Merlin oh the stories he could tell on Dougo
I hope Brody does get to detail Merlin's truck....damn that engine is grimey!
May I suggest you get Merlin Dougo and Randy and do a farm history video ! We would love it !
Y’all definitely NEED to detail Merlin’s truck. He deserves it.
That would be very nice for Merlin.
They don't have any trees in ND 😂
That black piece of material is the anti chaff for the rope I believe
PLEASE .... have Brodie detail Merlins junk!! Please.
...phrasing? 😂
It would be wonderful if ya’ll would detail grandpa’s truck! Be sure to video!!!! He does an awful lot for you guys!
I always wonder if you guys learned weld on the farm or school? My son learned basic welding in high school, very handy skill to have.
Receiver style that way it’s very portable out in the field, from one truck or another.
Good to see your Grandpa again!
Merlin may not appreciate it but one day when he's gone your family will enjoy all these short gems you catch with him.
Great video. It was nice to see your Grandpa.
Do you mean Grandpa ?
Yes, thanks. I have fixed it.
Nice to see grandpa back, been a long time.
Wonderful to see your Grandfather on your Channel. Great man and you are also cheeky about his choice of vehicle 😉
Love the busting on grandpa about the Chevy hahaha! Taking a load of scrap haha
I wanna see that detailing of Merlyn's truck !
😂. Mine’s bigger! 😂. It’s always a competition with boys!
We put a receiver type winch on our trailer. That way we could take it out when not using. Keeps honest people honest when your out parked elsewhere and also more importantly keep that winch out of the weather which is really hard on the motors and cables.
Great video Chet Dougo and Big Swede also Brody
Merlin on camera,
If you want to keep those lights clear just use Meguiar's Quik Detailer every now and then I have a truck with 11 years and the head lights are just like new. It keeps the lens from oxidizing.
Any auto parts store sells a kit to polish up the plastic headlight lenses. Look like new after.
Merlin was the main character of this video.
get a receiver style one, can use it on the back of the TRX if needed also!
Grandpa made this video great! 👍👍
Get yourself a Roof Razor to deal with unwanted snow on roofs. Works especially well on metal roofs. I think they're made in Minnesota.
Yes!!!
There are snow catchers just for ribbed metal roofs to hold the snow and ice so it doesn't cascade off and kill someone. Atleast have some installed to protect the door openings, they just attach with self-tapping screws. Talk to your local roofer.
Someone post a link to the roof razor please
It's in Minnesota imagine that lol
Your videos are just plain enjoyable to watch with how well the generations get along! Lots of smiles today! Where was the hat?
you probably found it by now
9:05 the hat is on the ground
9:27 it's on the workbench. (pause and go frame by frame to see it through the gooseneck
10:20 still on the workbench
17:57 still on the workbench
18:07 I think Brody points it out
Brilliant with all getting used to the camera keep em comin as i am retired scotsman living in Brazil and the temperature now is high forties Celsius
Grandpa Larson is a good guy these drives a good truck those Dodges not good
Chet did you ever see a vibrator that is installed on dump trucks to help the load slide, just a thought for your roof.
Great video Larson farms from Bryer
Great job welding Chet
That black material looks like one of there protective sleeves
It should have Velcro to keep in place just rape it around and slide it ware it goes over or under something it could rub on.
It’s for safety
Detailing Merlyn's truck would be good karma.
Nice to see your Grandpa in your video Chet
Good to see Grandpa in the video! He’s very sharp in keeping you guys on your toes!!
Protective sleeve not a bag 😊
So glad to see and hear Grandad Merlon! I see where ya get it! 😂
What flashlight do you guys have.
That “bag” is a sleeve to protect your rope when putting it on something sharp
I bet Merlin would appreciate it if Brody detailed his truck. Definitely a kind thing to do. Thank you.
I see 3 new case 620 quads coming your way.
Get yourself a solid winch for the receiver. Since the truck is 2wd you might find having the winch on the front of the truck useful at times. Also the winch could be put on the back of the truck, its bed, and other equipment around the farm. Might be surprised where a moveable winch could be useful for you.
I wish we could see ( and hear ) more from "Grandpa" . . . he's got to have SO MUCH to tell about farming in his head. My dad, who worked for John Deere for thirty years, passed away in 2017 at the age of 96 1/2 and would of probably been the same way. He was the territory manager for the Baltimore branch until 1967 when he became "Manager of Special Sales - Governmental" for 19 states on the east coast.
Big Swede
“Ya check your oil?” Lol
I say that to every Chevy owner working on their “junk”.
They could be changing brakes and I’d say that. Lol
I really like your grandpa Merlin. He reminds me of my father. It would be awesome if you could get him to sit down and tell some stories about raising Dougo and your uncle.
There has to be some hidden gems that need to be shared with us for future laughs.
