@@TheKicksBoy I wouldn't say she dominated but she was a key player to the downfall of the Rotu 4 and was the reason Neleh and Pascal were seperated. She's so deserved her win because she overcame a lot both her and Neleh I was happy with either of them winning since everyone wrote both of them off and they both came on top with Vecepia becoming Sole Survivor.
@@OnceUponAnIsland well I agree she was a lone wolf, Sean was with her. So would u say V was a lone wolf who had Sean as a follower or? How would you classify their relationship since they were very tight and always voted together but V is a lone wolf
24:50 I can remember two big reasons to remember her lol 29:56 he was going to be on Borneo at first but they held back on casting him because he wasn't relatable enough (I think Greg replaced him which says A LOT that Greg was seen as more relatable lol)
They are the most important and impactful black duo the show has ever seen yet Sean and Vecepia have never been asked back. That says so much about where this show actually is socially.
I think this was around the time where Rosie o'donnell was finishing her first talk show and she would have reunion episodes of survivor Borneo and survivor outback (ironically her future cohost Elizabeth Filarski Hasselback was in that episode).
Decent season. The Jesus talk was out of control though. I think V was a decent winner, just wish she would have owned up more to her gameplay instead of hiding behind her cross. Like we get it, you guys love Jesus. Yeah the whole V and Sean aren’t in an alliance was just so stupid lol. Sure it wasn’t a formal alliance but y’all were from the same tribe!! Up to this point in survivor people stuck with their original tribe at the merge. It’s really not unreasonable to assume V and Sean were a pair as they were the last 2 members of Maraamu. And just doubling down at the reunion was just so frustrating to watch. Sean was an interesting character but I have no desire to see either one play again. Kathy, Tammy, and Rob were my only choices this season for a return. Well at least we got 2/3

I loved seeing this version of Boston rob because it was clear he had a mind for the game and could be a great player but he was really rough around the edges and had a ton of flaws to go with it. as a person I did not like how he acted but it's better in. hindsight because at least here we know he is a better person after.
Sean & V didn’t have a separate birthday celebration. Everyone celebrated on the beach. At the well later she cried and he comforted her. It’s hard for people to understand the black culture but V and Sean‘s bond was based upon their culture. Not game. But she demonstrated that she is quite willing to separate from Sean if necessary. It just was not necessary after the Rob vote. People keep saying they voted together. There was no reason for them to not. But I do believe V would’ve cut Sean‘s throat if necessary. Whereas Pascal and Neleh were always gonna be ONE vote. Vecepia’s edit and her & Sean never being called back is despicable by Survivor. I’ve read Sean’s perspective and how Survivor treated him on call backs
In a modern political climate where diversity and wokeism is demanded no matter what, this series was able to procure a winner that most modern seasons would like to see before there was a black president or female Speaker of the house, among other things, and also had a homosexual, woman and Jew win to this point as well (and all furthermore weren't necessarily Immunity challenge gods). In fact, for a time the gender balance of those who won the game and who made it to the final tribal council up until Cook Islands was in favour of female, and to this day there is still more female contestants that have made it to the final tribal twice and have played 100 days on Survivor then men. Furthermore the only time in U.S. Survivor that a black person got no votes against "white" contestants was in Blood vs Water, otherwise when they got 0 votes was when they were up against another black person. No one who truly enjoys Survivor makes a deal about this. If anything, recent seasons have given less "diverse" winners and finalists, by there own standards. It;s ironic, but also fitting that by trying to make yourself "diverse", you are just fixating on the achievements of one demographic out of envy and not seeing the big picture of what makes Survivor good - if there is a way you can figure out how to win, likely you will win .
Speaking of emotional players Kathy needs to check her emotions at the Jury door. She has a history of not voting for the best player to win (All Stars) because she feels she got screwed. Maybe she needs to position herself and play better instead of deciding the answer is to be a crappy juror 🤷🏽♀️

Rob and Pascal as heroes is a joke. Rob was homophobic to John and Pascal had microaggressions towards Vecepia and especially Sean. And what did Sarah Kathy and Purple Zoe do to be considered villains???
Top 5 Worst Seasons EVER!!! Not because of the location, but mostly because of the Cast & Twists. In regards to the Cast, the “Rotu 4” were considered one of the most Unlikeable Groups in Survivor History, mainly because of their Arrogance, Cruelty, and just the sheer Hatred they had towards everyone else, even themselves, which showed how HATED they were, even after the season ended. The Twists was definitely because of the Purple Rock Scandal in the Final 4, and how unfair it was that Pascal got eliminated. Overall, most of the “Jury Members” didn’t deserved to win Survivor, since most of the deserving castaways were all voted off before the jury.
Finding the pig was the predecessor to finding the hidden immunity idol. John & General true game changers.
More reasons to bring John back😅
