Listen man, I don't really care for "Snap-Tite" or "Curbside" models. But you ALWAYS make every-single build/video SO gosh-darn entertaining that I still watch the whole thing & love it dude! LOVE how you weathered this car man, I mean it's just so realistic looking! Thanks for your awesomeness brutha, and see you in the next video!
hi I'm Florentine and because of you I approached the world of 1/24-1/25. Joking aside, you're really good and seeing your work, I'm dying of it. Keep it up!👍
'57 Chevy is my dream car. Midnight black with Chrome wire rims with white walls. Have a skull hood ornement and a 8 ball gear knob. Red leather interier with black trim. I can dream
'57 Chevy is mine too. Cherry Red body and steel wheels, Chrome trim, White Roof. Cherry and White interior, chrome trim Shifter as tall as the dash, with and an 8 ball gear knob. I dream too.
That molded black color looks superb! I would leave it as is if there is no imperfections like mold lines and sink marks. I would polish the body with some wax and build as is.
WOW! To look at this you would never think this was a snap together kit. Your weathering techniques were awesome, the way you weathered the upholstery in particular. Truly awesome build and a highlight of your channel to be sure. Thank you for sharing!
Nice kit - for sure. And Cost Effective (cheap). For the price of a 1:18 Die Cast you could build FOUR or FIVE of this kit!! Your very own '57 Chev car show - at home. Oh, and Chris, I gotta say it again - you have a 'nack' for doing this very thing - using multiple skill sets. Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing...
Chris, you out did yourself with this build. Again a simple kit made into a masterpiece. Always love the "back story". Great color choice on the body and interior. Well done sir.
Doesn't matter if it's 30 or 300 pieces, snap or glue, plastic or resin, as long as we have fun with this crazy hobby of ours. Looks terrific, your enthusiasm is inspiring, another enjoyable video, thank you
I love working with craft paints. I use them on most of my Bandai Star Wars builds, and I even use them to customize Transformers to give them wear and tear.
You absolutely killed it bro! That 57 is 🔥🔥🔥. You are spot on dude and man the interior is awesome! Great build buddy and already looking forward to Saturday’s build! Amazing! 👍🏻👌🏻
another gem. Shows that we can use our imagination combined with powers of observation (tape, fading, sanding, grime) and have some great fun. Great intro for those who want to try but may leery.
There is nobody that sees ur finished car that it looks exactly like a rustler metal chevy that is a amazing how u made plastic into rusty steel great job amazing
Hi Chris...Revell offered this kit pre-painted in White over Tropjcal Turquoise (2 tone paint job) with whitewalls and factory stock wheels. It's beautiful, but nicer are the Revell "Promo" 57 Chevys, detailed and pre-assembled and available on 2 tone Blue and 2 tone Green. I have them all, I love building my models showroom stock :-)
Great video for those that may be new or just starting out all good tips. That all of us old modelers take for granted. I will say it would be harder to do up a snap fit kit from back in the day. They just didn't fit together as well as they do today. They have come a long way. Nice work as always. I'm going to stop telling you, cause we both know already the outcome. LOL....😁 Have a great rest of the week! See you next time!
Your videos are always super amazing to watch... not just educational, but you are an amazing entertainer too. :) Keep coming back and not sure why I have not subscribed before... so here it is. :)
Man you always on point I learn a lot from you, I am building 2 chevy bel air one is stock and the other one is performance, now I will have to buy another one to do this version
Great effects with acrylics and your right I’ve built several of the revell/monogram snap title truck kits and if you put a little effort in you’d never know they were snapfits
I love it. I get snap tires and usually build them up according to the instructions. I have been wanting to do weathering on hotwheels but thought they would be too small. I think I'll try it on a few models. My local hobby lobby just had a tremendous sale on their models $21 and $30 down to $7.47 and $8.29 so I bought of each
Norm here Chris, another beautiful build, trouble with my fat fingers is weathering my models when I'm not trying lol, finished my Lil Red Baron and Lil Tarantula and they look great with my Red Baron Skull, can't wait to see what's coming next.
Wow Chris you totally made this look like a barn find! If they'd included some stock wheels it would have looked like a total barn find. I love how you simulated the growth of nature all over the body. I gotta get over my "showroom condition" perfection of building kits
Chris , Thank you !!!! Love the weather tips and how you show its done. Your channel just keeps getting better 👍👏, now the 57 looks amazing .. I hope I can do this with one of my nova models , and make it look as good as yours!! As always the best modeling RUclips videos
She's rusty, she's crusty and she still looks darn good for what condition she's in. That "labor intensive" initial assembly of the interior didn't slow your roll one bit lol.
1🇺🇲🔥👓🏈🔥 that's a bad bad girl right there ...Widemouth Plymouth...hey girl green you know FULGRIM...deluxe Steve McQueen...Johns spirit...Christine...!?!?
Very nice! Being primarily a military modeler, I love weathering.. and you've done a great job of weathering this car. Shows you what you can do with a "mere" snaptite kit :)
Very nice! I can see it tearing down a gravel/dirt road, kicking up a lot of dust! Noticed the back bumper looks a bit loose- duct tape might help. Great job!
Great build 👍 I prefer the 55 out of the three, but that's just personal choice. You may not be aware, but in the UK the "Fleetline" is a double-deck bus chassis made by Daimler UK between 1960 and 1979
So the 10+ yrs on the box means the sub-assembly time? lol Awesome stuff. Looks better than the regular lvl 2 '57. Great idea to use tape for the interior and all that weathering looks super!
Always love to see ur video notifications come across my phone love the work u do it really gets me in trouble with the girlfriend spending all my money on models
I've watched a few of your vids now, and have really enjoyed them, so as a new viewer I thought I'd throw you a sub and a like. We don't get a lot of the kits you build in the UK (at least, I can't find a lot of them) but I'm slowly building a list for an overseas order! Thanks for building and sharing, keep up the great work and amazing finishes to your motors. Thanks again, it's much appreciated.
Listen man, I don't really care for "Snap-Tite" or "Curbside" models. But you ALWAYS make every-single build/video SO gosh-darn entertaining that I still watch the whole thing & love it dude! Thanks Jeff, I like any kit!

'57 Chevy is my dream car. Midnight black with Chrome wire rims with white walls.

'57 Chevy is mine too. Cherry Red body and steel wheels, Chrome trim, White Roof.
Cherry and White interior, chrome trim
Shifter as tall as the dash, with and an 8 ball gear knob.
I dream too.
1957 is mine also!
Coral blue body, Cream white hard top, stock hub caps and white walls. With a Cream white interior.
One can dream..
If you dream it......you can attain it. 🍺🍺🍺🍺✌
I’ve never been to much of the 50s fins, they sometimes seemed to exaggerated but this is a nice car ngl.
That molded black color looks superb! I would leave it as is if there is no imperfections like mold lines and sink marks. I would polish the body with some wax and build as is.
I owned one just about that color back in the day, drove it nonstop from San Diego to Omaha changing duty stations, great build.
Thank you!
Love this build! Definitely on my wishlist now!! "The back seats don't get worn nearly as much as the front - unless you're a teenager..." ROFLMAO!!!
Thanks Calvin!

Thanks for watching!
I've just made this model.
I'm only 9 years old.
I've never built a model before.
and it terned out GREAT!!!!
WOW! To look at this you would never think this was a snap together kit. Your weathering techniques were awesome, the way you weathered the upholstery in particular. Truly awesome build and a highlight of your channel to be sure. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks a lot man!
I like that you added the "how to" in with the video. Since there isn't much to assemble.
Thanks!
Today's booth music is both calming & relaxing
Great build as always
Thanks!
Chris, you out did yourself with this build. Again a simple kit made into a masterpiece. Always love the "back story". Great color choice on the body and interior. Well done sir.
Muchas Gracias Chris!
I just bought one of these to mod up for a personal project, and that trick with the tape is amazing, I'll give it a shot.
Thanks!

Thanks Lance, being a kit snob is no fun, people miss out!
Really well done build and presentation Chris!!! Weathering deminstration is spot on! Craft paints are cheap and user friendly! !
Thanks Ron!
Great build, great weathering finish. My grand dad had one and the color was light aqua blue.
Thanks man!
I love working with craft paints. I use them on most of my Bandai Star Wars builds, and I even use them to customize Transformers to give them wear and tear.

hpiguys Workshop You’re welcome dude! You deserve it because they are so awesome!
My Dad bought a new Turquoise 57 Bel Air with a black fabric interior. Cant remember the accent color but it was a beauty. Thanks.
another gem. Shows that we can use our imagination combined with powers of observation (tape, fading, sanding, grime) and have some great fun. Great intro for those who want to try but may leery.
Thank you James!
Looks like a million bucks, all green and crusty. Another good build. That's cool Model Roundup has the pictures of your 57 Chevy build.
Thanks Larry, yeah they put the watermark on for me and everything. Good peeps!
I hate it when a cougar scratches my windshield! Lol 😂 good build, Chris.
Especially if you just took her to dinner.

You can Make Stories about Your Car Models!🤗🤗
another tip for weathering seats is to use tissue paper with white glue, and scrunch it up and paint the creases with dry brushing
Thanks!

She's rusty, she's crusty and she still looks darn good for what condition she's in. That "labor intensive" initial assembly of the interior didn't slow your roll one bit lol.
