Sonic The Hedgehog was the game that sold me on the Genesis. Wings of Wor incredible box art actually suits the game well. Out of all listed The Immortal, Micro Machines Turbo Tournament 96, Lotus Turbo Challenge & Starflight I didn’t own
Interestingly, I made a list the other day of games I wish were on SNES (and visa versa), and Gynoug was one I forgot to add but would also have loved it to come to SNES too. Such a unique asthetic.

@@MakaimuraKiu Well, at least there's a pretty similar fan game in the works for Genesis that started as a port of Super Metroid. So not too far off on that front now.
@@inceptional The SNES is very suitable for adventures and rpg's, so rpg's like the Phantasy Star and Shining series could be a nice fit, and the Japanese exclusive King Colossus. (action-)Adventures like Crusader of Centy, Beyond Oasis and the Ecco The Dolphin series could be as well, though Beyond Oasis might be hard to pull off, with the number of different animated sprites on the screen at once sometimes. It was made by Ancient after all, the main developing force behind Streets of Rage 2 and 3. The sound effects of that game would really benefit from the SNES sound chip though. Ecco might be hard to pull off too. Real-time strategy games are somewhat lacking on the SNES, so games like Dune: The Battle for Arrakis and Herzog Zwei could be nice additions. Like Beyond Oasis, these games sometimes have many sprites on the screen, but are not nearly as animated. The list can be very long really, because most games on both platforms weren't released on the other.
Yes. The following made me a Genesis fan: Sonic series, Vectorman, Herzog, Dune II, Musha, and Streets of Rage series. I also preferred many games on the Genesis over the SNES due to control dynamics and lack of slowdown. This would include Earthworm Jim series, pretty much all shooters, and most fighting games (SSF2, MK series). I hop on SNES for it's great library as well. The 16-bit era rocked.

Agree, Wings of wor cover art is really good. PAL version cover was different (also good).

Please write down some of that games in your list, I'm interested.

Awesome list full of classics I'd add Mercs, Rambo 3, General Chaos, Beyond Oasis and the entire Road Rash series to both lists.
Great list video I grew up with most of theses games 👍
Me too, thanks for the support!
Many a great game here! I especially enjoy Alisia Dragoon. It’s kinda its own thing!
And it's quite expensive nowadays.

Absolutely, the 16-bit era was exciting. I was lucky enough to have Genesis and SNES when I was a kid and my gaming memories are spectacular.
HERZOG ZWEI giebt es auch nicht auf dem SNES
Herzog Zwei with two players versus mode, is really fun.
@@MakaimuraKiu yes really fun
The Immortal is not in SNES, but in NES...
Yep, in NES was released one year before.
