Such a beautiful song from 1969, The Classic IV produced such a smooth melodic style that guaranteed songs that were hits. The lyrics capture true devotion with their simplicity, combined with the soothing melody and beautiful vocals, makes for a sweet love song. The sax and sublime instrumentation just adds up to perfection on vinyl. Some of the band members left in 1970 and worked recording sessions and formed later what became The Atlanta Rhythm Section.
