They are only £20 off Ebay now and they have improved the design a little bit too, such a good upgrade and made easy thanks to this video
cheers for this now only £7 including postage from ali express in less than a week no brainer.
Wow that’s insanely cheap now, I may buy the smoked ones now, just because they’re cheap and why not 😂
Thanks for your video, i bought a pair from ebay for just under 20 quid and watched your video 2 or 3 times and changed mine in minutes. Big improvement 👍👍
I’m glad it helped you out. It’s a worry some times when tackling jobs where you could easily break clips and things, that’s why I posted it 👍🏻
Mine arrives today,
Will try it on my F-Pace.
Thanks for the review and installation!
Ordered mine from Ali Express, came within 10 days. Slight mod to the one you had with the connector now on the side the same as the factory fitted one, so fitted even better. Brilliant vid, I watched it a dozen times before attempting it, but it was exactly as you had described. I absolutely love this mod, thank you for posting. 👍
Great camerawork by your assistant. Thanks for taking the time to create it. Good job folks!
My wife does a good job, thank you 😁👍🏻
Damn, will definetely buy it ! It is so easy to change and it gives another look to our XF-R !
Do it if you haven't already! I got a set from under £16 on Aliexpress, they look really black when off, same colour as my XF, and the whole job was done in 5 minutes. Has to be the best mod possible for the money, inexpensive and really effective, much easier to see in the daytime.
Best to upgrade the wing mirror covers next to Carbon fibre finish.
As always we appreciate folks like you who take the time to do this for our benefit.
It is something I am thinking of doing for sure. Especially after adding out her carbon fibre parts to the car.
Thank you for the comment.
Thanks for the video , I fitted these today to my 2014 XKR , I don’t think I would have tried if it wasn’t for your video .. thanks for taking the time , really appreciated 👍
You’re very welcome buddy, I’m so glad the video helped 😁👍🏻
@LionKing30 yes , exactly the same 👍
@LionKing30 exactly the same
Awesome upgrade, I want them 👍
Just done mine on your recommendation on my XJR and they look great looks like they've changed the retaining clip but fits perfect
Fantastic, mine are still working fine, but may get the new smoked ones soon as they’re so cheap and easy to fit. Glad you like them Richard.
That is a massive improvement :)
Thanks Rob, much better working and looking in my opinion
Great video - did my pair in less than 5 minutes thanks to the handy hint about the clips :-)
Awesome, I’m glad it helped you buddy
Just followed this to fit mine, thanks!
Had my car for 3 years now and just realized they had those due to this video.
Yeah they’re an easy thing to miss aren’t they.
Watched your video really helpful i have just fitted some on my 2016 xj in 10 minutes excellent commentary thanks
You’re welcome. That’s why I post these videos, to help us all out 😁👍🏻
Looks like I found my next upgrade for my XFR. Thanks.
Damn cheap upgrade and such great looks, there are so many people ordering them yesterday and today on the Jag page 😂
@@69racer69 which jag page is that mate?
@@M135iboost Jaguar XF owners mods and sods, and another Jaguar XFR wonder page. There are a few.
not owning an XF just yet , the factory ones look weak light emitting at the side of these , 100% safety upgrade !
Good video, clear and easy to follow, thank you.
I’m glad you found it useful, that’s great. Thank is for commenting.
Thanks so much, this was perfect, bought these as a cheaper alternative to one original used one (needed to sort it before MOT retest so bought from eBay). For what it's worth, that nice looking screwdriver you got with yours is now a T10 ended Alan key. Dunno if it's any good though as I used my own screwdriver
Oh ok, that must be a cheaper option for them to supply, it’s only being used 4 times so doesn’t need to be so good anyway lol.
Glad you got your car ready for the MOT
Just an update to this, you can now buy a new version with a “welcome blue light” - it’s listed as Jaguar XF Blue Dynamic LED” on eBay. I’ve got the same as you though, and this video helped greatly getting the covers off, so thanks.
There is also a smoked version now that I really like.
I’m not too keen on the blue welcome flash ones for my car, if it was red then it would match the callipers then 😂
I’m glad you found the video useful, that’s why I put these up.
@@69racer69 I got the smoked one, stealthy, matches my blue xf.
@@coolprintingsuk that’s perfect for yours then 😁👍🏻
great vid just did mine 5-10 mins tops easy job
Nice one, I couldn’t believe how well they fit. They make such a difference don’t they 😁👍🏻
That clip at 3:45 was a bugger on my dads XJ me and my dad were baffled as to why the new piece wouldn't fit, we put the old one back on and noticed it, wish we had seen this first
Excellent vid
Good video tutorial, thank you!
Thank you, I didn’t realise how easy they would be to do.great little upgrade 😁👍🏻
👌🏻 They look tidy.
They fit perfectly and work really well.
Thank you so much for the tutorial, I am definitely getting these for my XFR! I just noted one thing that may have only been only missing due to editing... Did you put the screws back in on the driver-side? Probably not the first person to mention it.
Lol well spotted, I did indeed put them back in, but afterwards lol. 🤦🏼♂️ thanks for spotting it and letting me know just in case, can imagine those ending up in the tyres. Definitely a great little upgrade for sure.
I was going to mention this, but you beat me to it
Only for x260?!
Thanks for the video guys, i was looking to do this to my 2010 XF, did you get any warning lights on the dash by any chance?.
No warnings at all buddy, I would have showed it in the video if there are any problems. 😁👍🏻
I noticed as well. You left the screws out of the indictor. Glad I didn't get you change my wheels!
I didn’t film when I put the screw in, I was checking the fit of the cover but had to use that footage and didn’t realise, thanks for saying though.
could you put the order number up from where you got them from please could do with some of them myself.. thanks

Will these work on a 2010 XFS, noticed you send some earlier models they won't work on?
Yes definitely, it’s only the early 2008-2009 where they won’t work.
Great video, do you know if they will fit a Jaguar XE ? and have you got a link to where you got them, cheers.
Yes I’m pretty sure they fit, check my description for the link and just check they lost your car.
Brilliant, thanks.
Hi I've just got mine and it's got an extra green wire coming off it and apparently it fits on to the puddle light but not sure how to and which wire to splice it to any ideas and got any links to do it thanks.👍
Oh you got the one that flashes blue on unlocking the car.
Fit it to the live wire of the puddle light if you want that feature. I’m not sure what colour it is until I check. I’m changing my puddle light soon, so can check then. If one of them is brown or part brown then That will “probably” be the live wire.
@@69racer69 yeah it is the one with the blue light flashes across didn't realise I would have some adaption to it just wasn't sure on were it go's I'm on a jaguar xf forum they said it splices on to puddle light but didn't say how I can get to it or get it out but your video was very helpful fitting it and it looks well cool on its a nice touch thanks.👍
@LionKing30 yes I did pulled a bit of the plastic sheath back on the black wire with white line and soldered it to and covered it back over looks really affectitive got video not sure how to upload it though.
Do you know if these will work on my 2010 Jaguar xfr?
As long as you have that shape of indicator then yes, I’m sure you do. I’ve had a 2010 XFR before this 2011 XFR and they both had this shape, it’s the 2009 XF that have the wrong shape. I’m sure all the XFR’s have the newer shape.
4:27 You didn't install back the 2 screws that support the LED indicators
I did it after I popped the cover back on, I forgot to film it. Thanks for noticing and letting me know though just in case I forgot 😁👍🏻
when I try to order I get this message
This item is not available, because the seller doesn't provide delivery to the shipping address you selected.
anyone else get this? Im in Dumfries.
cancel that, sussed it :-)
Hi, I’m always a bit suspicious of aliexpress. As your video was made a year ago I just wondered if you had any issues, i.e are they still working ok?
Still working perfectly
Will this work on XE 2016? How long take delivery from US? Thank you
I believe so yes. It took 10 mins to fit. And took about 1-2 weeks to deliver from China to the UK.
But aint the 16+ xe's / xf's already LED?
@@vincecastillo7990 not dynamic LED no.
You didn't put the screws back on
I used the wrong clip, that was the test fit, I did put the screw in 😁👍🏻
Hi Racer69, Thanks for your jag vids. I am thinking of getting a XF but concerned about reliability, any advise based on your experience? Thanks
Depends on what XF you’re going for?
Look out for battery and alternator, the XF’s are battery eaters and throws up countless faults just because the massive battery can’t keep up. The alternators wear if the battery isn’t changed.
Front lower suspension arm bushes are prone to wear, but they aren’t that expensive to change. Check to see if the timing chain (100k) or cam belts are changed if you near the service mileage.
Check the boot operates from the key fob as the wire loom can wear on the boot hinge. I’ve never had the problem but others have.
But to be honest, I’ve hardly ever had any issues with either of the XFR’s I’ve had apart from the battery.
Oh if you’re getting an XFR, just check for supercharger noise, they always have a tapping, but it’s shouldn’t be excessive, even then, a coupling and bearing change isn’t the end of the world at all.
@@69racer69 Wow, thanks for the prompt reply Racer69, I might be buying a 2017 XF 25D AWD 2.0d (240) 34k mileage - so no where near yours in terms of performance. This will be via a main dealership and my first jag but the dealers are not the most helpful so reaching out to experts like yourself. In fact not seen the car yet as I’m in London and the car is in Newcastle, only videos sent to me. My current car broke down yesterday and the RAC said don’t buy a jag due to reliability issues and it being a money pit. Should I ask them about the battery and other mechanical issues you mentioned to me? Any other advise or what I should look out for mate as concerned before I make this considerable purchase? Ps. If I do buy this jag, I will definitely be watching your videos again for some home upgrades like yours. Thanks
@@jasonpeters7614 they’re definitely not money pits that’s for sure. They can be expensive to maintain if paying all the main dealer crap they charge you for that you don’t need yet, just have your whits about you and don’t change the tyres when they wear down to 5mm of tread or break discs when they have 1.8mm of wear. That’s what they are know for doing. Question everything and ask do I need it done now or not.
The actual cars are very strong and have great build quality, you will love it I’m sure.
@@69racer69 thank you for all your advise - excited but nervous at the same time as have always gone for German cars. Will ask them about all the stuff you mentioned for sure including age/life of battery. Will keep you posted and hopefully share a video with you.
@@jasonpeters7614 good luck buddy, hope to see it soon
Link doesnt work... may you send a new one?
Link still works for me, they have actually gone down in price.
Just go onto aliexpress..
Where can i purchase these pleas
AliExpress or eBay, I have a pink in the description but they’re cheaper now.
How are these holding up, still working ok?
Yep, still working fine and look the same as the day I put them on. They have started selling smoked ones too now if you wanted the black look.
@@69racer69 I've just fitted a set of smoked ones, very happy with the result :)
@@georgejohnson7591 awesome, I’m glad they have worked for you. I maybe upgrading mine too at some point 😁👍🏻
Work on xf x260 ? 2017
I think they will, check the ad when buying
I’m pretty sure they do.
Are these strictly legal…? E-marked for example?
They’re perfectly legal and are a safety improvement from the standard side repeaters that you can’t see in day light.
@@69racer69 I don't doubt for a second that they may very well be an improvement, but here in the very less than free UK we still suffer from some vestiges of our membership of the EU, one of which is the need to have the letters EU stamped/moulded/branded/printed in, or on every bloody thing we buy!
I would not want to fall foul of the increasingly bureaucratic clowns we have here masquerading as a police force.
I am not criticizing your suggestion - simply asking a question before I zoom over to my browser and order a pair!
😉😉
@@thetraveller869 I believe they have CE on them, but can’t be 100% without taking the covers off and checking.
@@69racer69 Now we wait for delivery...
I'll let you know how I fare!
😊
you forgot to put the two T10s back on.
I mistakenly used the wrong video clip, I did put them on, but thank you for noticing and letting me know. 😁👍🏻
You never refitted the torx screws to secure the drivers indicator 😂
I did, just put the wrong video in the edit
Now take the cove off the first one you did and put the screws in , 😂😂😂👍
The screws are in lol, forgot to video that part after trying the cover on first to make sure it fit.
thx man!!! you can buy the indicators also in black!!! looks even better 😉 watch this:

Not suitable for X250
I have an X250
Only not suitable for the very early X250’s 2009. There was a change over around then.
