Assuming I hadn't broken anything, and didn't fear getting arrested...I'd take the ladder and beat the guy's face with it. Where is he gonna go? Nowhere. At least Nowhere fast😈.
Wheelchair guy needs charged, tried and convicted of attempted murder for what he did. To think he's entitled to risk someone's life because he's inconvenienced is insane.
It is not ok what he did, but i have to admit. I sort of get it. I am disabled myself, and i cant get around town ANYWHERE …. Coffee shops using sidewalks, restaurants breaking the rules. - cars parking, and most of all BIKES those damn bikes, that take the space supposed to be used by disabled. - and then lets not forget the Asigns outside stores. …. I get why he may have just had enough. (But to be fair he could have looked up before he flipped the ladder)
The.guy in the wheelchair should have been arrested. I hope that happened. Also, it looks like there was room to just go under the ladder. The may have been a cord to duck. There would have been some risk of upsetting the ladder if he did that. I don't think he would be concerned about that.
@@mortyjansen399 You "sort of get" why some asshole in a wheelchair would try and put other people in a wheelchair because they happen to be in his way? Can people in wheelchairs not cross the road? Even if there wasn't anyone on the ladder, this is just not ok. The ladder in question was huge and could have injured people while falling down. Long story short, the thing he should have done is not look up before he throws down the ladder, but recognise that he is physically unable to handle ladders and simply not touch it, and instead ask for help.
@@HungryLoki i dont know where you live. But where i live. People on wheelchairs cannot cross the Road. The edges to the Road is Way High so a wheelchair Will tip over. Naturally i would not for real wish harm To others. But yes. I sort of get it.
@@mortyjansen399 And you're why people need to remember that being disabled doesn't make someone a good person. I'm not in a wheelchair specifically but I am physically and mentally disabled. Even though I often feel like I'm going to go insane trying to survive in a world so plainly pitted against me.
I'm not even gonna lie, if I was that man on the ladder and that dude in a wheelchair had knocked me down I'd have gotten straight up and decked him so hard he'd have fallen backwards off his chair, idgaf what state you're in, you try and kill me? It's fair game.
The way i treat self defense is if you are trying to hurt, mame, or kill me i will use equal force in return. I don't care about your race, gender, any other identity, or physical condition. The only thing I'd hold back on is if they aren't all there mentally. But yeah. If you are instigating a fight you have no right to complain when the person you attacked retaliates. I've been attacked too many times growing up by people much larger and older then me. So I have 0 tolerance if im attacked now as an adult. My favorite being in 9th grade when someone choked me unconscious on the train because i made eye contact. He said something along the lines of "in my country it's highly offensive to make eye contact" like ok? This isn't your country though, so your social expectations don't apply here. But yeah. Also if you brandish a weapon of anykind i will assume you have lethal intent and will use lethal force back if needed.
Have you ever had a fall from a great height? You would not be getting up to and decking anyone. (Even if it would have been deserved.) Did you not see that man barely able to move? I fell from a lesser height than that and snapped both bones in my leg so imagine how he was feeling from that height!
@@coolcatino Adrenaline and anger can do pretty amazing things. I have been hit by a car going about 40 kmph and then got up and walked off. About 6 minutes later I crippled over in pain. But I WALKED OFF. I'm just saying, it would happen regardless of how bad I feel later.
@@coolcatino have you? Adrenaline is a hell of drug. Unless the damage was severe enough to break bones the adrenaline alone would be enough to get up and deck someone. I have broken many bones and fallen from relatively similar hights. If someone was directly responsible i had more then enough adrenaline to get up start a fight. Granted i didn't do much damage one time since the arm i was trying to fight with was completely broken. I had so much adrenaline that i literally could not feel anything. Once it wore off though then everything hurt like hell. I've also been hit by a car as a pedestrian as i was crossing the street and they ran a red. I got back up and walked off for another 5 or so minutes until the adrenaline wore off. Humans are capable of temporary strength during extreme injuries when they are driven to do so (by self preservation or anger)
yeah, fuck the wheel chair. im sure the state prison can make accessibility renovations for him. thats straight up attempted murder. the main on the ladder could have easily died if he had fallen a little differently. if i was the helper i would have knocked him out of the chair so he couldnt run from the scene.

This is so true. It was a night flight and the aisle lights are still on. I’m that type of person who can’t sleep with lights on. But, me and my friend was really exhausted and fell asleep right after the plane take off. We didn’t get bothered until the FA starts giving us our meal. And here, Karen still have a lot of energy to make a ruckus
Sadly am highly photosensitive. Would not throw a fit and be a b*tch. But also would not be able to sleep no matter how tired, and would be in some pain if the light was bright enough.
All hail the lady who told the mom to SHUT UP on the plane. I would have probably added, “ and id like to make a complaint as well. About that lady who refuses to shut up, while others, like my self are trying to sleep. I have no complaints about the man silently reading a book and not disturbing everyone else”
The fact that she did shut up after someone called her out is more proof that these people are cowards and only go after those who they think they can bully. Unfortunately both the attendant and the passenger allowed her to bully them. Never a good idea.
I would've laughed if, while the Karen was stuggling to pull her luggage out to the compartment, OP had said loudly "Called it." But yeah that lady is a hero. BWF
@CommentCop 666 Most of em are, but some are actually true, I would know, I get that sh** every about 2-6 weeks.. It's not usually as bad as the stories, but it sometimes is as bad, or worse..
I would have added profanities as well like "Like for fucks sake! Shut up!! People are trying to sleep here!! All of our ears are going to pop off from your banshee screeching!!"
The flight attendent in story 2 shouldn't have bothered the man about the light. She certainly shouldn't have asked him more than once. She should have just told Karen to take the eye covers, and stop disturbing other passengers.
The bike trail guy doesn’t need to allow other people’s kids on the property to bike , hike, or anything else! That’s the quickest, easiest way in the world to get sued for everything he has!
I was thinking the same thing, we let horse riders ride on our property, but they have to sign an agreement that says they are solely responsible for anything that occurs on our property. I can’t imagine what a Karen would do if one of her children got injured on our property, that’s why no trespassing signs are posted for the instances of people just following along others without asking us permission first.
That is so true. It's a great way to get sued. Even having that on your property while not allowing people on it you could still get sued. It's called an "attractive nuisance" in the law and kind of like having a pool on your property. So even if someone doesn't supervise their kids and the kids sneak on your property without permission.and go on your trail and get hurt, it's just like if they snuck in your pool and drowned. I think the case in law school was also a trail and it was older teenagers and there was a wire across the trail for no trespassing purposes. It's been ages but I think some people snowmobiled into it. I can't remember the outcome, but getting sued (and in this last case the case making it all the way up to the appellate courts) is a real hassle even if you win.
@@jenrabbit4444 , I remember that case, since the path was close to other recreational snow mobile paths it was determined that the man who died didn’t have a reasonable way to discern the difference between the paths and his family was able to successfully sue for damages and pain and suffering. Even with my property marked and agreements in place I still run the risk of being sued because others may view other riders on my property and assume it would be ok for them to do so also. It would be an uphill battle for them given the sign postings and signed agreements already in place, but that doesn’t mean they can’t use all avenues the law provides for them to attempt to find recourse.
all these entitled karen stories are fake anyway. anyone with a large enough piece of property to make bike trails would know about the huge liability involved and would not let any member of the public on them without an iron clad lawyer prepared indemnity form signed by every rider.
To the last story: I once was on a flight back home from a vacation in the US (I'm from Germany) with my parents (I was around 18 at the time, definitely of age). We sat in the last row of the plane from JFK to Munich, operated by a German airline (both informations are a bit important at the end). My parents had two seats one row in front of me across the aisle, I had an aisle seat also. Somewhere over the Atlantic, a passenger had a medical emergency (they even called "Is there a doctor on this flight?"). I assume it was either a stroke or a heart attack. He was seated about 10 rows in front of me, with his wife. Luckily for him, there were doctors, and they moved him to the back, where the emergent stretcher was located. The flight was redirected for medevac at Heathrow, the nearest airport. After they moved him, a flight attendant I had been chatting with before approached me and asked if I would possibly be willing to switch seats with his wife, so she chan sit as near to her husband as possible, especially while landing. Of course I said yes, that's not even an inconvenience. So I got up, walked over to the poor wife and offered her to switch seats. She thankfully accepted. After landing at Heathrow, ambulance already waiting for us, they took him with them, and his wife of course accompanied him. While defrosting the wings and refueling, I wasn't allowed to go back to my seat due to safety regulations. That's ok. I waited until after takeoff and went back then. So that was that, I thought. But no, not yet: After a few minutes, the flight attendant came over to thank me and to ask if I was of age ("odd", I thought). I said yes. After another 15 minutes, she returned with the purser (the head of the cabin crew, if you don't know), they both thanked me again and gave me a bottle of Champagne from First Class (here, the age is important. Legal dinking age in Germany is 16 for beer and wine, and 18 for spirits of any kind. This being a German plane, German laws applied at the latest after leaving US air space if not directly after leaving the ground). Now it gets weird. I wanted to refuse, saying it was a matter of course and basic human decency, and that I neither reached my destination eng earlier or later, neither downgraded my seat (economy class, both seats). They insisted, telling me: "No, it's not a matter of course. It was very kind. Many passengers in this situation would have insisted on their paid seat, the mere inconvenience of changing places is too much for them." I admit, I was dumbfounded. My only inconvenience was nor being able to talk to my parents for about 30 minutes of flight and about 2.5 hours getting ready and having a take off window scheduled at Heathrow. I accepted the Champagne. I never forgot this story. That happened about 14 years ago. I sadly don't know if the man lived.
If the woman and her daughter were actually tired, they could sleep with someone reading across the aisle from them. She wouldn't have liked my comment if she said something while I was getting my bagel.
THE lights dont even hit you!! like what was she complaining about damn. the engineer it in a way it focus on a small spot on you and not the other passengers. or maybe sinc ehe said it was a shitty plane then maybe its a full on floodlight which i doubt and think that karen was just so stupid
I'd have just looked at her for a moment, told her to FUCK OFF, then go back to whatever I was doing. Considering I'm a biggish woman with (according to my husband) one of the best death glares he's ever seen (except for my dad - his glare could stop a rampaging werewolf) most people leave me alone.
Going by the rest of this karens commentary I'm thinking it's less the light was bothering her and more she just wanted to feel powerful/in charge. Been a decade or so since I was last on a flight, but if the sounds of the plane in flight won't stop you from sleeping, neither will the lights.
I actually believe you. Here's the link. nypost.com/2021/02/02/snow-shoveling-dispute-leaves-3-dead-in-likely-murder-suicide/ There was another video showing a censored version of it but youtube took it down....I don't blame them tho. ruclips.net/video/kUdyghTLsWg/видео.html
I don’t think the man on the plane did anything wrong. The woman was offered masks. Like he said it was 6:30 pm. What was he supposed to just sit on the plane staring into the dark? The woman felt she was entitled because she is a racist and feel entitled.
I agree. I am also a nervous flyer and the easiest way for me to get through a flight, is to read a book. If I did not have that to occupy my mind, all flights would be really uncomfortable for me. I would also keep my light on during a flight.

One of the last flights I went on I had a couple sitting behind me who were constantly getting out of their seats and kept shaking my chair all the time, it made me feel so sick and I couldn't sleep at all. I didn't complain as I didn't want to cause trouble. A reading light on would usually not bother me, maybe if I was really cold and someone insisted on having the cold air on and pointing at me then I might get annoyed if they wouldn't let me turn it off but if my flight had been another half hour then I would have told them to stop. (I feel bad for my mum when I landed as I had been up since 2am for the flight and I couldn't find my bus stop at the airport and was overtired and stressed due to everything that was going on and I ended up shouting at her whilst in tears over the phone as I wanted her to fetch me due to being all of the above things but she didn't)

The pretzels are up there, be a dear and pass them out would you?"
Reminds me of the monster I dealt with on a plane. Story time: My little cousin (who had lived with us for a time as a foster brother) had been murdered and my brother and I (both in mid to late 20s) scrapped up some money to fly out of state for his memorial; my parents didn't go and spent the high plane fees to cover the cost of his cremation because his mom had just gotten out of jail and had no money. Needless to say, this was a pretty last minute flight and we were lucky to get a seat we could afford, especially next to each other. We get on the plane and scrunch into our seats, my little brother is 6 ft 5 and I'm 6 ft, and prepare for our emotionally taxing trip when they came in. A husband and wife, short, and probably in their mid 50 to late 50s. As soon as we get into the air they start trying to lean back their chairs. Our legs were in them before they attempted this. My brother politely tells the husband (in front of him) that we're both very tall. He scoffs and after a couple minutes the wife gets very angry and the husband turns around. I pretend to be asleep because I cannot emotionally deal with anything. He begins to scream about how rude I am to his wife and my brother continues to say nobody is purposely sticking their knees in the chair. We're tall and before they lowered the seats we could barely fit. After awhile of just being horrible the two of them decide to go to the bathroom together. My brother quickly moves over and pulls their two seats up. We each sit up semi better, again barely sit to begin with. I don't think they noticed the chairs were brought back up when they came back. But, a few moments later they snickered and began trying to pull them back. The wife nudged the husband again and he started berating my brother. My brother, way calmer than deserved, told the man we were tall and were not stopping them maliciously that was just our legs. The husband then went into this tyraid about how if we needed leg space then we shouldn't inconvenience normal people and pay for the rows with more leg room. He was ridiculous. In retrospect, I wished I would have yelled at him and said I was sorry that my cousin's murder didn't line up with purchasing the nicer, more expensive, seats. Next time a 19 year old unexpectantly is going to be killed I'll ask a physic to book our trip. I didn't though. My anxiety and my grief just had be cold. Although I did get a great deal of happiness when, in the midst of his dumb speech saying tall people must always pay extra, the flight attendant came by and told him we would soon be descending and he needed to be seated and have his chair in the upright position.
I sorrow for your loss. I'm five feet tall and always make sure to offer the extra room to others, I guess others aren't so considerate. I hope you are blessed with more cheerful travels in the future.
I'm so sorry. I wish these entitled people would learn that life is gonna go on with or without them especially with a loved one. I swear these entitled people need a very rude awakening of all sorts.
First off, I'm sorry for your loss and had to deal with idiots like that. Some people are just aholes. 2nd, I'm not saying it's a 100% guarantee, but I'm pretty sure I know why they went to the bathroom together. I could be wrong. But seems odd.
you would never ask a large person beside you to adjust their fat rolls to give you space. you also wouldnt expect a kind response if you did. they cant change their weight mid flight just as how you cant change your height mid flight you cant expect people to accommodate you for a service that they are also paying for. your height, your weight, their height, their weight doesnt matter. they were jerks, sure, but you were karening too since your request was basically saying "my comfort is more important than your's, so lose your comfort (that you paid for) in order to accommodate me and my needs"

The ladder wasn't even in the man's way, he had half again his wheel chair's width in clearance to the sides. I can only assume he was superstitious about walking/rolling under a ladder or something.
Probably upset he can't climb up a ladder too, so he is making the person on the ladder in a wheelchair too so he doesn't feel left out. People now days spread misery not happiness.
from the looks of it, there was some kind of plastic tape connecting the ladder to the building at what was about head height for the wheelchair dude. So there was an obstacle directly caused by the ladder. But wheelchair dude was still an idiot about his final decision.

Introvideo: Shaking someone off a ladder is a pretty serious level of assault. It will be judged around shooting a gun into someones general direction, not as a simple punch. Falling of ladders can easily result in your being dead or crippeled.
I just don't get this. If you go out in the woods (technically owned by the government unless someone paid for it) and you scrape a knee, you don't go and sue the government for their asses. Why would you sue someone who was kind enough to let them go on to his territory, his mountain bike trail? Surely, if they knew it was a mountain bike trail the people involved would understand that the trail will not consist of flat roads, right? Even so if you hurt yourself it's still a mouth to mouth deal, no papers being signed and the owner could claim trespassing if they sue, so the guests would not even win in the courts, at all.
Who the heck cant sleep with a dim little airplane light on? They really aren't very bright and like a flashlight, they have a focused beam. If you're tired enough you can sleep anywhere.

A plane with one pilot indisposed and unable to fly is an automatic mayday. Safety rules mandate diversion to the nearest airport, no compassion involved.

@@bleachfanbk I got that bit but still they should have approached her to see what she was doing. Im not defending her actions by any means but not checking to see what someone is doing on your property is just irresponsible.
While I disagree with how the last guy went about it, by saying that they should continue with the flight. I have no care and no sympathy for a flight line companies. I feel bad for the family but this isn't the family this is on the corporation, the flight companies mess with customers every day making this question to smaller and smaller planes bad refund policies, overbooking and many other decency violations. The company itself has no grounds to hold any sort of moral high ground and that customer service person is just a shill for the company and industry the treats customers like crap consistently. The whole reason he's able to take it to social media make that threat in the first place is because of how bad airline companies have treated people. If the dude was looking to extract compensation out of the family sure he would be a terrible human being but from the corporation no.
I agree, it's a corporation, not a small business, corporations have no mercy with their customers, I don't see how to return the favor is wrong, although in the case I think that if they compensate the guy, the employees would have to explain themselves to the company, and they didn't have the head to deal with it and the guy was extremely incensible in his arguments.
What about -ism. That's what this story came down to. The simple facts are this, the plane diverted, the company is responsible. The customer complained that he was delayed, and his life negatively impacted. The customer service guy saying 'what about the poor dead guy'? means nothing here. Maybe that airline needs to give their flight crew better physicals, since job stress and working conditions could be significant contributing factors to that poor pilot's early demise. The customer was NOT responsible for the situation in any way, BUT they were left with the consequences. The company milking the customers for sympathy, so they don't have to compensate for the consequences? That's asking for bad PR.
@@Lexekon No. The plane diverted following air rules. A plane can't fly safely with only one pilot, diverting to the nearest airport in case one pilot is indisposed is the mandated thing to do. Not doing so is endanger the plane, and have consequences.
I agree that claiming compassion to deny the compensation is wrong. Safety and FAA rules is excuse enough. One pilot indisposed: Mayday, mayday, mayday. Divert to closest airport.
@@Baldorcete I do not claim the plane should not have diverted. This is probably something that insurance should have policies to cover, when circumstances beyond the company's control force these events. The fact remains, the company sold tickets with the perception of a contract agreement, that passengers would be transported in a timely manner. Failing this obligation, regardless of actual law, is a PR issue that needs to be smoothed over. This is not about actual contract law, I repeat, but perception from customers and consequently public view of this company.
You know honestly that first story is so damn applicable to so many things, not just bikes. A thing is niche but fun, and eventually attracts a lot of people to it. Against everyone's better judgement they let random people in, both casual people just having fun and unfortunately the crowd that's known all too well by 3 letters. They see kids, teens, and adults having fun in the space but it's not _their_ fun, so they force their way to the top and demand things be changed - or force it like this case. Then when they're done they act like *they* own the space and have always owned it. Meanwhile the space is completely unrecognizable, watered down to the point it's a shadow of a hollow shell of what it once was.
I would be more concerned about random people being on my property and possibly getting injured and then I have an insurance liability if they sue me for being injured on my property. Keep everyone off the property.
I don't know flight regulations, but I suspect that the airline wanted to replace the unfortunately deceased pilot with a LIVING pilot for safety reasons.
The problem with these EPS is that they’re narcissists, everything has to be their way. They are impossible to be around or live with, trust me I know first hand.
That first story reminded me a few years ago we had trespassers (we had "no trespassing, trespassers will be shot" sign). They ended having hospital trip, and they were charged with trespassing.
YOu definitely should call the police when a _Karen_ or a male version of a _Karen_ trespass and/or destroy things. If yo don't call the cops, how will these people learn not to barge into someone else's property or destroy property that doesn't belong to them. Oh my god when that man hit the ground.... like Jesus Christ he landed on his back!!!! He could have been fucked for the rest of his life!!!!! A working man like that, in a field that requires being physical NEEDS to take care of his back because that will severely effect everything he does from then on. My dad broke his back, and has been in pain every day since then. Holy shit.......
The video at the beginning, there's a man in a wheelchair who drives up and shakes this ladder in his way, it causes it to fall and drop the man who was on it to the ground.
Just because he was able to get up and walk does not mean he did not suffer effects that are usually felt a few hrs later or the next morning when you awaken. He could still be affected for the rest of his life.
First Story: "they even cut down some of our trees" Me ,chanting: "tree law, Tree law, TRee law, TREe law, TREE law, TREE Law, TREE LAw, *TREE LAW, TREE LAW, TREE LAW!!!* "
It doesn't seem that the last person was inconveniencing anyone as the request was made after the fact. While the family would be top of any compassionate persons mind, the only one paying for the customer's inconvenience would have been the company - would any degree of understanding be shown by the airline if a customer experienced a family tragedy moments before their booked flight?
That last story brought back memories of what happened to me during a connection flight... no entitled people involved, thankfully. Anyway, I was returning to my home country from the US, and I was going San Francisco - Miami - final destination. Unfortunately, because of a thunderstorm, the plane from SF to Miami had to fly around it and land somewhere else to refuel. This caused me to miss my connection flight and arrive at Miami late in the night. I spent countless hours on a huge line waiting, and eventually got a new plane ticket for the replacement flight and a food voucher. By this time, the snacks they offered for everyone who missed their flights had run out (I couldn't get any because I'd miss my spot in the line) and the food voucher was pretty much useless until 6:00 AM of the next day, one hour before my flight, because everything in the airport was closed. In the end, I was forced to wait at my gate all night, barely getting any sleep because of the hunger, until I could finally grab something to eat and board a plane back home, and made it there nearly twelve hours later than intended. Worst flight experience in my life. I learned my lesson: never book connection flights with less than THREE HOURS between flights, because you never know when something might go wrong...
First story, dude has a legit case. Woman goes on your land and alters it, then destroys trees, that is destruction of property. ProRevenge would be to then go to EK's school and anounce that, due to EK's parent's action, OP would no longer allow any of the kids to ride on his property for the rest of the year. Second story, old lady is great! I am claustrophobic and that story made me anxious... Do not take my safety nets away from me or I can turn violent (after letting it destroy myself). Story 3, wow! Just wow! That is a horrible thing to happen! I did not expect the story to say the pilot was the one who died!
I wanted the first story to end. And we used Karens tools to return the trail back to its former glory. Karen and her family's legacy will remain in the land. OP cousin should have planted a tree to mark the spot.
I work off a ladder daily...I assure you wheelchair man would have been a paraplegic praying for death when I was done with him... whether it was myself or a coworker on the ladder. That was attempted murder
I kind of agree with that last guy a bit. It's sad that the pilot died, but that doesn't mean the inconvenience was any less for all of the passengers. Wether or not the airline could avoid it isn't really the issue, the passenger was inconvenienced and blame doesn't really come into the equation.
That last story. Yikes! Imagine being the copilot having to fly the plane to an airport while the pilot is in the chair next to him, dead. And then having to not only watch the body get taken out and explain to the passengers what's going on, but then also having to fly the plane to its destination. I hope that copilot is alright after all that
Yes, my blood boils during every story and yet I can't stop watching more videos, like I'm not joking I just watched about 20 and while at this point I shouldn't be surprised, I AM STILL SURPRISED BY THEIR AUDACITY EVERY GODDAMN TIME. Guess I love the drama. Or, to be more precise, I love it when entitled people get what they deserve after causing a scene. The satisfaction feels too good.
Funny, just the other day I had to run off a trespasser just walking into my yard three separate times to steal coconuts. The first time he actually knocked on the door and asked..these are not edible coconuts, and told him no...but he came back. Turns out he is stealing them to sell.
Sorry, he's not in the wrong, the airline decided to detour the flight, what does the pilot's family have to do with his inconvenience? The airline 100% should have compensated him for the detour and delay, no questions.
The airline didn't decide. It was mandaded by international regulation, as a commercial plane can't legally stay on air for longer than necessary without one of the pilots.
Too funny! There was a lady in my friend’s neighborhood who insisted she was an astronaut. Beside her signature on her drivers license she had written “Astronaut”. Evidently that was supposed to prove her claim!
I have had people do this to my property and because they started trashing it, I put up no trespassing signs. People kept trespassing and throwing their garbage in my Woods and the police would do absolutely nothing about it. I would catch people dumping on my land and running their four wheelers on it and would get it on film and the cops would still do nothing. I told the cops that I was going to start pepper spraying people when they refused to leave, and they politely told me, then I would be under arrest.
Start shooting to kill- I mean it. :/ I mean, literally kill them. Explain to the police that you had a no trespassing sign, they trespassed anyway and threatened you, so you did it in self defense. :/ "Dead men tell no tales." It's the land owners word over a cadavers'. :) Just make sure you have a sign up that states that trespassers will be shot on sight.
@@SakuraMoonflower I agree. "Trespassers will be shot" or "Dumping/littering carries minimum fine of $500" might start getting results. Fear of punishment is how society maintains order. People can't be trusted if they don't fear consequences. There was another reddit story where a guy would park on the OPs private land over and over again. The solution was to put up signs that said No Parking with a large hourly fee. OP took pictures, had them towed, and the guy's employer had to pay a massive fee before it stopped.
The Karen from story one really blew me. Like why not find a hill to ride down instead of teraforming the whole trail? It's sad that she never got arrested or paid/fixed the damage she had done. My obly comfort is knowing that she also had to waste time and resources.
To be fair the last story the guy was a total jerk the way he handled it but I do think it is stupid he would not get a refund. His life and all the other passengers where delayed and people are defending a probably very rich airline for not compensating people for services not rendered?
Well Sparky, the airline may have also had to get another pilot - likely there are silly rules in place that a flight needs two people who are flight qualified in the cockpit and if you start out with a two person crew and one dies.........well, you kind of need a second crew member. Also, depending on where the flight occurred and who the carrier was, there may be rules in place governing when compensation is given, in what amounts, and for what reasons.
@@carlfromtheoc1788 Yes, the phone service person might have explained that to the caller; "we're required to follow FAA rules and land at the nearest available airport when an essential crew member is incapacitated aboard a flight of this type." End of story.
That last story, I 90% side with the "Entitled Guy", the 10% being his bad attitude and his approach (and failing to show sympathy). He's right, there doesn't seem to be ANY reason to divert the flight, and MANY people on flights have a schedule to keep, it can often be costly to not be able to stick to their schedule, especially business people. And yeah, it's common and normal for companies to make up for things that aren't their fault. Even though they didn't do much wrong (diverting was wrong), they still ended up late and making their passengers late. Jeez, from the sounds of it having to make up for such things is why the OP has a job! Sure, the family is more "inconvenienced" but that's entirely irrelevant, their grief doesn't make the passengers on time, knowing their sorrow doesn't help the OP or anybody else on that flight. Just because they can now understand what happened doesn't undo the costs. Oh, and as someone who has recently gotten stuck in a wheelchair, I partially feel for that guy. Now, pushing over the ladder was wrong, and downright criminal with someone ON the ladder, but it's already really difficult to get around - do you KNOW how many places only have stairs? - it's frustrating when someone makes it more difficult than it has to be. That ladder was blocking an otherwise clear sidewalk, in a spot where it was impossible to get around it. It seems highly possible the ladder might have been able to be put elsewhere or in a way it didn't block the sidewalk, it's quite possible the person on the ladder was being inconsiderate and not thinking ahead. Wheelchair dude SHOULD have simply spoken up, though.
Are you daft? Diverting was mandaded by international flight regulation. You *can't* keep a flight going for longer than strictly necessary with a pilot incapacitated. It wasn't a choice as much as a necessity
Why? An hour more or less isn't going to make him any more or less dead. Either he gets removed at THIS city that isn't his home town or THAT city that isn't his home town. At least if they went to their original destination that minimizes the damage, this way screws over EVERYBODY for no reason whatsoever. It is very much NOT a necessity. All you're doing here is shifting the blame of whose mistake it was. The guy is right, he damn well should be compensated.
There was a similar story when I was in cub scouts, there was this really steep hill that you could climb for a shortcut to get to a different area. We put in a rope to use to help climb up it. When we came back to the camp the next year the steep hill is gone and it’s just a slope that you could walk up it. Turns out the Brownies(elementary school Girl Scouts) had saw it and one of the leaders for the group cut the rope and complained about the hill. She made a big enough stink about it that the campground had to change the steep climbing hill into something like a 30 degree incline. It sucked, but especially since we couldn’t bring our bikes like the other Cub Scout groups who were riding up and down the hill.
Actually, the person asking for compensation for the late flight when the pilot died is perfectly in his right. He isn't asking the pilot or the pilots family for compensation, he is asking compensation from a mega corporation that told him he would be at his location at a specific time. He relied on that information for his business. Considering how often these airline corporations have treated their customers like trash with late flights, sitting for hours waiting to board just to wait another few hours to taxi to take off, he is perfectly in his right, and employees attitude shows the entitlement of the company.
Yeah gotta agree, like yes the death is sad, but also its fucked up that a corporation would use the death of an employee to try and emotionally manipulate people. Like just because the delay is understandable doesnt mean it shouldnt be compensated. It's honestly disgusting to see them trying to exploit this guys death to their own benefit.
We had some trails like that next to my house, and the locals had been working on them for 20+ years, so they became so amazing they gotten written up in magazines and people even came from other countries to use them. The one big problem was that it was on county land, but when Parks dept. guys came by they were fine with it all, and even stayed to watch sometimes. Then one day a Karen showed up with her kid - a little kid - and was told the trails were only for experienced riders. She ignored everyone, and her kid got hurt. She sued the county for 1 million dollars (I have no idea if she got it, if anything), but what happened was the county sent a bunch of trucks/bulldozers over and destroyed the entire thing that took hundreds of volunteers and over two decades to make. Over the years users had an unspoken agreement that if you got hurt, you said it happened at home and used your own insurance, but it took just one Karen to ruin something for everyone. Needless to say, that kid got so badly bullied after that the family had to move away - small compensation.
I'm amazed you guys don't have legal requirements for delay compensation on flights. If an EU flight is 2 plus hours late, regardless of reason there is a partial refund required by law. You need to get your politicians out of corporate pockets.
I had a neighbor trespass to pull up my survey stakes and RIP down my no trespassing signs. The sherriff arrested him and he ended up in a nursing home after that.
But it is true, Entitled people should ALWAYS get what they want cuz they are entitled to it. If you disagree with this then you are clearly in the wrong! - Karen 😂😂😂
I would’ve lost my shit with that bike trail story! Even if it was public property you can’t just do what you want with the land, that land is owned public or private and you can’t just make with it what you want
The land owner in the first story definitely should've called the police. Karen cut down trees on his land, tree law is not something you want to mess with
In story 2, OP is not ruining the flight for 2 people and being rewarded. Karen is ruining the flight for the whole plane and not getting punished. There is not enough justice in the world...
If you were the person on the ladder what would you do?
easy act like your in wwe
Filed charges against the guy.
Assuming I hadn't broken anything, and didn't fear getting arrested...I'd take the ladder and beat the guy's face with it. Where is he gonna go? Nowhere. At least Nowhere fast😈.
can i get a shout out floofy boi pls
@Mama Koolkat 😂 naughty, but funny

I'm not in a wheelchair specifically but I am physically and mentally disabled. I have never once understood attempted murder from my frustrations. At most, yelling at someone.
Biiiig Factss, being in a wheelchair ain't gonna save you from these hands, especially if you try to put me in one
I don't care if he's in a wheelchair, I hope the guy on the ladder pressed charges.
yeah, fuck the wheel chair. im sure the state prison can make accessibility renovations for him. thats straight up attempted murder. the main on the ladder could have easily died if he had fallen a little differently. if i was the helper i would have knocked him out of the chair so he couldnt run from the scene.

And as a crippled disabled lady, he should’ve been punched and charges pressed against him, he has no right to act that way and committed assault here.
If someone knocks you off a ladder do NOT move. You lay there and put on the best acting performance ever. When the ambulance shows up you better be seconds away from death.
Exactly as I was thinking. You don't know how injured you are and moving might worsen the condition.

That Karen sure had a lot of energy for someone who claimed to be tired... when I'm tired, no matter how much light is in my face, I just fall asleep.
Lol bring bandanas on flights. I normally tried to be prepared for every situation and normally I overpack but I try to limit what I bring.
I would've laughed if, while the Karen was stuggling to pull her luggage out to the compartment, OP had said loudly "Called it."
But yeah that lady is a hero.

Oh, I'd be speaking up for damned sure too.
@@lordchaa1598 Liability waivers are such a beautiful thing...
all these entitled karen stories are fake anyway. anyone with a large enough piece of property to make bike trails would know about the huge liability involved and would not let any member of the public on them without an iron clad lawyer prepared indemnity form signed by every rider.
Yes, I would have pointed out that if they were really exhausted, sleeping would be no problem.
When she told OP the e was " a terrible person", I would have replied, "And madame, you are a c*nt."

I agree. I am also a nervous flyer and the easiest way for me to get through a flight, is to read a book. If I did not have that to occupy my mind, all flights would be really uncomfortable for me. I would also keep my light on during a flight.

Reminds me of the monster I dealt with on a plane. Story time:
My little cousin (who had lived with us for a time as a foster brother) had been murdered and my brother and I (both in mid to late 20s) scrapped up some money to fly out of state for his memorial; my parents didn't go and spent the high plane fees to cover the cost of his cremation because his mom had just gotten out of jail and had no money.
But seems odd.
you would never ask a large person beside you to adjust their fat rolls to give you space. you also wouldnt expect a kind response if you did. they cant change their weight mid flight just as how you cant change your height mid flight
you cant expect people to accommodate you for a service that they are also paying for. your height, your weight, their height, their weight doesnt matter. they were jerks, sure, but you were karening too since your request was basically saying "my comfort is more important than your's, so lose your comfort (that you paid for) in order to accommodate me and my needs"
@@1night1day I have a simple equation that I think is appropriate here: which are their needs and which is their wants/desires. Correction to your claim they are paying for the transport, while business class would be paying for comfort and transportation. Your assessment of op being a Karen is highly unjustified.
In a better world someone would have thought for them to trade seats so both groups could hopefully be more comfortable.
It's just my opinion though. Be well and stay safe. ♡

Yeah no, I'd be doing the exact same thing as OP on that flight. I'm not the one with the problem, I'm keeping to myself Karen is the one with the issues. I paid for my seat and I'd use it for myself however I want
Maybe he wanted a wheelchair buddy to share adventures with.
“the elderly man, known locally for being rude, waves his hands in the air to justify his actions.”
Apparently the guy is always causing hassle when ANYTHING is on the pavement as if he owns it, and somehow believes he’s always justified. Sounds like a disgusting man if he’s more than happy to risk someone’s life.
If that was the case, he could have just rolled around it.
Introvideo: Shaking someone off a ladder is a pretty serious level of assault. It will be judged around shooting a gun into someones general direction, not as a simple punch.

OP should have called the cops. Have the cops tresspass Karen. This lands a police record, that *may* come in useful later.
First story he needs to stop letting people on his land because he will end up getting sued if someone got hurt or at least get a note from parents

I have to use a wheelchair. But I wouldn't try to hurt someone just because they are in my way! I would wait for the person to move for me or find another way. I really hope that they call the police on that monster!
In my area a guy in a electric wheelchair wanted to get into the bus but a young man wearing headphones was standing right in the only entrance, blocking it. The wheelchair user tried to make himself noticed by the young man but to no avail. And non of the other people on the bus took any notice of the situation. So the wheelchair user deceided to ramm the guy out of the way because the bus was about to leave. He broke the young mans leg in the process and was sued. I'd have turned to the flight attendant and said "you have the authority, can't you make that loud mouth shut the hell up?"
Imagine some guy giving you a one star review because his plane got diverted.... Because the pilot died.... I feel so bad for the mans family and I feel even worse for the co pilot that had to continue flying the plane sitting next to a dead man. That sound traumatizing.
If someone does that, somethings wrong with them. I've never cried over the death of a grandparent, but I'm not so uncaring that I would complain about the inconvenience of a delay over a death on a flight
Compensation is still deserved as they have failed to supply what they were contracted to supply
Sadly, there's more entitled people who didn't had a single respect when it involves death. I remember a recording a few years ago showing passengers grumbling about military funeral (not sure I'm worded it right) where soldiers doing routines to transport the coffin, thus delayed the flight.
Slab of meat deserve no respect. When brain dies, that's no longer a person, just a slab of meat. Giving it any sort of respect is moronic and should be illegal worldwide. A plane with one pilot indisposed and unable to fly is an automatic mayday. Safety rules mandate diversion to the nearest airport, no compassion involved.
Finally, someone with common sense! I worked for an airline for 36 years & some of these comments were making my head spin.
That ladder guy is going to have back problems for years. That's so messed up and the dpuche bag doubles down on his rant.
Omg dude!! These stories are so great!! This s my NEW favorite page! I just can't stop listening to all of these remarkable stories!! Thank you for taking the time!! I really appreciate it!!! And please keep them coming! I have one I'll share about a terrible flight from D.C. TO DALLAS!
I really don't understand why the cousins in the first story wouldn't check to see just exactly what kind of work Karen was doing on his property.
They thought they were being helpful (from a distance)
@@bleachfanbk I got that bit but still they should have approached her to see what she was doing. Im not defending her actions by any means but not checking to see what someone is doing on your property is just irresponsible.
True, they could have mitigated the damage by putting a stop to it sooner, had they cared enough to investigate her activities.
Lol
And legal reasons too!
Even if the site is public, what or who gave them the right to destroy or modify it without permission?

@@robinguy14 intro
The video at the beginning, there's a man in a wheelchair who drives up and shakes this ladder in his way, it causes it to fall and drop the man who was on it to the ground.
Just because he was able to get up and walk does not mean he did not suffer effects that are usually felt a few hrs later or the next morning when you awaken. He could still be affected for the rest of his life.
I know exactly what you mean about back injuries. The pain can last a lifetime.. It affects everything you do on a daily basis.
First Story: "they even cut down some of our trees"
Me ,chanting: "tree law, Tree law, TRee law, TREe law, TREE law, TREE Law, TREE LAw, *TREE LAW, TREE LAW, TREE LAW!!!* "
First Karen: illegally cuts trees
Me: laughs in the Lorax
THAT DUDE SHAKING THE LADDER WOULD BE SEEING ME IN FRONT OF A JUDGE AND

First story, dude has a legit case. Woman goes on your land and alters it, then destroys trees, that is destruction of property. ProRevenge would be to then go to EK's school and anounce that, due to EK's parent's action, OP would no longer allow any of the kids to ride on his property for the rest of the year.
Second story, old lady is great! I am claustrophobic and that story made me anxious... Do not take my safety nets away from me or I can turn violent (after letting it destroy myself).
Story 3, wow! Just wow! That is a horrible thing to happen! I did not expect the story to say the pilot was the one who died!
start investigating Tree Law. cutting down someone's trees without permission can get them in a WORLD of trouble.
I wanted the first story to end. And we used Karens tools to return the trail back to its former glory. Karen and her family's legacy will remain in the land. OP cousin should have planted a tree to mark the spot.
he should have found where they live and served papers on them for trespassing and "altering" his property.

Flying sucks with or without Karens.
I don't have wings so I don't fly. Lol
Especially with these Karens!!!!
I kind of agree with that last guy a bit. It's sad that the pilot died, but that doesn't mean the inconvenience was any less for all of the passengers. Wether or not the airline could avoid it isn't really the issue, the passenger was inconvenienced and blame doesn't really come into the equation.
If I had been on that ladder if I could get up after falling there's someone who's electric cart would be in pieces. He can drag his ass home
That last story. Yikes! Imagine being the copilot having to fly the plane to an airport while the pilot is in the chair next to him, dead. And then having to not only watch the body get taken out and explain to the passengers what's going on, but then also having to fly the plane to its destination. Sorry man my heart dropped when I saw that dude moving the ladder in the beginning. That can be a death sentence for some ppl.
Oh my gosh with the guy in wheelchair at beginning. Is he so angry about wheelchair that he’s trying to paralyze others ? Hope that guy is ok .
This might be one of the only times it is justified to punch a guy in a wheelchair

That is enraging.
Start shooting to kill- I mean it. :/ I mean, literally kill them. Explain to the police that you had a no trespassing sign, they trespassed anyway and threatened you, so you did it in self defense. :/ "Dead men tell no tales." @@SakuraMoonflower I agree.

SHE REMOVED THE TREES!
TREE LAW SHOULD BE INVOLVED
TBH, I start crushing skulls too, your trespassing on my property and you're altering my property? That's good enough for a smackdown in my book
Typical girls
The best part of the second story was fluffs pronunciation of bagel. Priceless.
Baggle
@@xxPunkettexx Exactly.
Man in the wheelchair could've easily passed through without touching the ladder!

By the way...it’s pronounced “bay-gle” not “bag-gle”. Love a toasted bluberry bagel with bluberry cream cheese on it.
Hey Fluff! Y'know I listen to you A LOT! I never shake my head. However the amount of times I have to pick my jaw up makes up for it! Lol
Bruh I hate people that disrupt order and don’t understand what other people are doing.
I wouldn't care none about a wheelchair, if you did that to me that's a solid lawsuit.
Sue his ass off
And Criminal Charges...Ladder guy could EASILY have died on impact...
Definitely assault at the very least, camera caught it and everything.
I'm amazed you guys don't have legal requirements for delay compensation on flights. If an EU flight is 2 plus hours late, regardless of reason there is a partial refund required by law. You need to get your politicians out of corporate pockets.
It seems to be one of Karen's favourite places are airplanes.
I had a neighbor trespass to pull up my survey stakes and RIP down my no trespassing signs. The sherriff arrested him and he ended up in a nursing home after that.
Wait, so the sheriff in your county puts offenders in the nursing home instead of the jail? Interesting.
But it is true,
Entitled people should ALWAYS get what they want cuz they are entitled to it. If you disagree with this then you are clearly in the wrong!

I don't know. After all, you are a potato.

If I were on that flight near Karen, I would have turned on my overhead light as soon as OP moved to his new seat. 🤣🤣🤣
You pronounce bagel like Britta from community
He obviously lived in New York
I would’ve lost my shit with that bike trail story! Even if it was public property you can’t just do what you want with the land, that land is owned public or private and you can’t just make with it what you want
The land owner in the first story definitely should've called the police. Karen cut down trees on his land, tree law is not something you want to mess with
In story 2, OP is not ruining the flight for 2 people and being rewarded. Karen is ruining the flight for the whole plane and not getting punished. There is not enough justice in the world...
