Good video other than taking out the whole cabin filter assembly. I did mine by just taking the cabin filter top off and removing the gasket. Saves a few steps that weren't needed.

Hey guys, free tip: PLEASE don't forget to mark the placement of your windshield wiper arms AND stud BEFORE removing them...I had a helluva experience with the wipers bang bang banging after having my windshield replaced.😆

If I'm not mistaking, this cowl fits on pretty much the entire E46 platform doesn't it?

For everyone watching you shouldn't take out the cabin filter assembly. It doesn't require that

@@HansGarage I guess u never learned how to enjoy the zf 5hp19? That transmission is actually very awesome it’s in some Porsche’s, jaguar and audi. I have a 2003 330ci with a 2005 325i zf5hp19, the 325i zf tranny has fewer friction disc plates then the 330 but the 330zf trannys had a big problem so actually the 325i zf tranny is more reliable if u can find the newer ones with the upgraded reverse drum that usual broke on older models. Make sure if u do this tranny swap u keep and use the 330 torque converter which is better than the 325i e46es. I also swap the 2000 325i tcu computer which has a very aggressive shift. Plug and play swap. I can still downshift or upshift with the steptronic which I religiously use. I bet u my tranny shift faster than u can Han, hahaha. Love u videos dude!!! On rt 80 today I raced a camaro and he had a hard time keeping up in traffic the computer tcu unit for the 325i 2000-2001 e46 is a very quick shifter if u know what I mean since it’s automatic
