I remember when tie fighter pilot was one of THE fastest characters. And also when the nodes were 3 attempts per day.
TFP was hella annoying back then. So fast and kept getting foresight.

It’s nice to see them use older characters to fill out newer teams! We’ll see what the ultimate vision looks like once Enoch is here. To me I think Enoch needs a tank still.

Not gonna lie, when you mentioned Tie Fighter Pilot only having the Empire tag making it hard to make him work, I was immediately put in mind of Carth who faces an extremely similar issue since he only has the Old Republic tag.

Definitely was a lot more action back then! My guess was it was milking the whales too hard and they feared they’d run out of GLs to release too quickly.
CG wants the lightspeed bundles to be the ultimate FOMO. They do not want it to be something where people plan their LSB purchases around their farming plans. They want you to buy them and now you have to scramble for zetas, and then they give you a zeta event but oh wait god damn it I need to have the gungans fully farmed to get the Zetas! well I’ll be sure to have them farmed before the next one! Now I’m scrambling for gungan shards and zetas and my original farming plans, I guess I’ll just spend a little more money to catch up

This will mean though that either Enoch will have a Nightsister with him, or Veers is not gonna have his Dark Trooper.
Just throwing this out there, but maybe Nightsister Zombie can be a good filler? Talzin/Merrin technically don’t 100% need Zombie. Having Zombie save Night Trooper and Death Trooper would be cool.

@catalyst539 No, that doesn't seem like a comp that's gonna get used. They're gonna mostly keep DTMG as is. TFP will likely replace Storm in that team, leaving the other team with Enoch, Night, DTP and Storm. Unless a Nightsister joins or we get another Remnant we'll need Dark Trooper for two full teams.
FINALLY!!! TFP’S USEFUL!!! I hope they give him an Imperial Trooper Tag & give CUP a Touch-Up for Queen Amidala; he could give Health & Protection overtime whenever he uses basics!

I’ll also add that economically it makes sense to keep lightspeed bundles as a limited time window for them for 2 main reasons:
- Players will likely have to continue playing regularly to be around when a bundle finally happens to come out
- Players will be much more likely to buy them under FOMO even if they wouldn’t have initially since there is reason to believe you won’t be able to again
So essentially the amount gained by pressuring more current players to buy, since they are out for a limited time, is worth more than the amount lost from potential buyers that do not buy thanks to the delay.
Obviously this is a segmented explanation, many game design factors play into why the economics work that way in this game (and many similarly designed games)
Honestly really hope they give existing Thrawn the imperial remnant tag as well. Would make sense and actually elevate DTMG to a pretty insane level with the tm swap, heal / prot recovery, ability blocks and fracture.
The tank DC fix was rolled out today. It has been ready to roll out for almost a week. Just look at the developer tracker to see what bug fixes are on the way. They have not listed the Visas Mar datacron bug on the developer tracker.
the lightspeed bundles of the past will probably never come back, or if they do, it will be random and not planned, when they throw a good deal at you for a limited time like that, that is the whole strategy... it makes people feel like they NEED to buy it or they will miss out completely and fall behind, so many games, and even stores do this.
They're not communicating they fixed their bugged datacrons for two reasons. First, they down want to acknowledge their game was broken in the first place. And second, they said they wouldn't fox datacrons if they're broken, and went back on their word. Now since they went back on their word once. They will be expected to do it again.
Finally, i can use him for something usefull now, so hyped for enoch leading the imperial remnants with tie pilot. Mobile got the graphics update

If CG took credit for fixing the issue, they'd have to admit they screwed up in the first place. This way they can still claim "Plausible deniability."
Another nice thing about TFP being a Remnant is that with all his TM gains, he’ll be recovering tonnes of health and protection under DTMG’s lead.
Before this news I was thinking a cool 5th for Enoch would’ve been nightsister zombie. And the only remnant left being dark trooper. Since the new troopers have the nightsister tag zombie could actually be really cool here. You get two revives and a solid tank and with dark trooper in there and the rest of the squad you’re gonna get crazy damage
Edit: she also fits the zombie theme so kinda cool 😂

Used him in a Krennic throw away team.
Now he's even better!
Additionally, Lightspeed Bundles should have their own spot in the store but with a delay. The initial release comes out at a discount. After a few months, it comes back forever but slightly more expensive. Win win.
Knew it, CG fixed it faster than Tech 's buzzing noise that has been lasting for years 😂

If you look in the Store channel on the Event’s server, this morning, it had Galactic Bundle 9 and 10. The LSBs for Ewoks, Padme, GAS, Nightsisters, and Geos, they were in the Store channel as Galactic Bundle 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and then launched a month later for May the 4th. They were listed right under the Character Bundle 68 and 69.
I think Galactic bundle is different than Lightspeed bundle. Datamines always refereed to Lightspeed Bundles as Lightspeed Bundles. Not Galactic Bundles.
@@AhnaldT101 it showed as Lightspeed Bundle in 2023, but not in 2024. when the data mine showed the day it was coming out and the price, it was labeled as Lightspeed bundle - Example:

But if you look previous to that, there wasn’t anything in the data mine labeled Lightspeed bundle. I was looked at the 4/12 data mine and the phrase Galactic Bundle was in there 5 times and there were 5 LSBs that came out less than a month later. On 6/14, the store data mine had Galactic Bundle 8 and then the Jedi Lightspeed Bundle came out 10 days later on 6/24.

I’m glad they’re making this faction so much bigger, DTMG is such a fun character to use imo, plus I like DTMG because he’s the first TW based conquest character that is still really good in GAC (trench is ok but boba is garbage) and I’m glad they are going to make multiple teams out of this faction plus it’s awesome how recently they’ve been giving old characters new tags to be useful in more teams

Exactly. I submitted a claim for getting a light side faction, Wampa DC. I didn’t have a photo they asked for, and put the responsibility on them. They came back and talked about inclusion, making a fun game for all, yada yada. I’m still pissed. I spent $ on crystals trying to get the proper Wampa DC, (which I eventually did).
i was excited to mess around with tie pilot in a OG moff Mideon squad. Before I realize he's got the same issue as night trooper: no imperial trooper tag. it also makes scout trooper's emperor's trap constantly reset because she needs troopers, unlike Piet just need empire in general.
Honestly looking at how the meta stands right now I think the most likely path is them releasing Captain Enoch with very strong Blight synergy and a lot of survivability for the team so people will try to keep the 3 new remnants on the same team while also increasing its defensive viability
Makes me wish they would give shoretrooper the remnant tag since shoretroopers appeared in mandalorian season 2
Who knows! Maybe they do that down the road. I shared similar sentiments when the Imperial Remnants were first being created for this game.
My other hope for the remnants is they add one of Gideon's beskar commandoes and praetorian guards. Maybe have them take the place of Gary and death trooper that way they can be used on other teams

I hope they also give him a kit touch up, like they did with Lobot, since right now aside from the tag he doesn’t really synergize with Remnants

I just maxed out my TIE Fighter Pilot's shards and got him to 7 stars yesterday, so this is good (for me, anyway) ! I REALLY need to get the node where I can farm Scout Trooper because I'm so close to having my Imperial Troopers and Imperial Remnant teams to 7 stars.
my game had to update right as I had finished my first GAC battle and when the notification popped up my heart shattered (max banner win btw thx BHs) (got my banners still)
My guess on why CG just dont have a tab with LS bundles permanently available would be that they want people to feel FOMO, so when a new LS bundle drops more people are willing to buy it so they wont miss out for good

just fyi stuff i seen, the stores being mobile and pc are different, IE: a 20 dollar crystal case of BOGO free only on mobile, and on pc the shipments dont update automatically if you're looking at gear for a character until you open shipments, then suddenly the options will appear (i think its an id pull/expire timer issue, with the refresh timer going off, and it not re-querying whats not in the shipments)
Dead Trooper was a pretty easy bridge to cross here

CG really needs to start updating the character models now. With the new portrait pics with characters look even worse now. CLS, Han Solo, Wampa, Phasma, and so many day one character could use some love like the Tuskens and Jawas got.
I hate what CG did to Fleet Battles. I miss seeing the characters in their cockpits and commanders on the bridge. It made things a bit more lively. Now we are stuck with portraits.

Uh, It might not be fixed for gac. The tank cron that I faced today was not fixed at all.
I feel like after 3 months they should have permanent light speed bundles but I kinda like the 2 week exclusivity buying time frame that the current lsb have. I do still think there should be some advantage to buying it sooner type thing although after like 3-6 months it should be permanent

Didn’t they previously say they wanted dark trooper to stay with Veers - 10 remnant’s breaks that but they have conditioned dark trooper out of the dtmg kit so he’s not going to fit where he should be

They need a permanent location for old marquee events so newer players can get those marquee characters. I started a FTP account but missed out on the gungans which is kinda a big deal.
Gungan marquees are listed in solo events for a rerun alongside JJB. CG have been doing reruns of marquees for at least a year now.

Still needs Imp Trooper tag. Absolutely no reason Admiral Piett gets the tag but not a tie pilot. Shore trooper also needs Imp Remnant tag, because they were shown in Mando S2

Crazy they still havent removed the crystal cost for refreshing arena battles... Marvel Strike Force just removed the refresh cost and the cooldown entirely, and they even still give their premium currency in arena. SwGoH doesnt even give you crystals from arena anymore but thhey force you to spend crystals on it.... Thats the simplest way to explain the difference between these dogshit pathetic devs, and better devs.
i dont understand why we still dont have a red 5 ship. just make it a rebel pilot based on hoth luke: first ability blaster shot, second ability lightsaber strike, third ability toss a grenade. he doesn't have to be OP. the ship is literally a reskinned wedge.
