The version presented in this video is quite different than the sheet music provided in Songs for the Journey. Where can I find the sheet music for this version?
It sounds to me as though the soloist is vocally indisposed, rather than an issue of technique. Also, please notice that this was posted in Aug 2020, so the logistics of recording were probably very difficult to accomplish... they may not have had the luxury to reschedule for a different day, the way they might have done pre-COVID. It is an elegant, very musical performance in my opinion, and accomplishes what this recording is meant to do.
That's Dan Forrest at the piano, he composed the piece. He works with various levels of musicians. Not every performance needs to be sung by a professional singer. And if we're honest, most musicians *do* work on their technique-otherwise, we're not growing as musicians.
God bless the soloist!
Very lovely voice. Love the tenderness in your voice and on your face...
Goosebumps 😍😍 I'm in love too for the song. ☺️☺️
Such a beautiful, buttery voice!
It would be nice if I could hear him.
Maravilho é uma palavra pouca para tamanha beleza e talento que Deus o abençoes cada dia
I'm in love ❤️😍..
Beautiful song!!
Beautiful

Belo hinos amém

I love this song, but the soloist needs work in vocal technique

He's not mic'ed well. Now, the piano is very well-mic'ed, but is overpowering his voice.
I thought the tone well depict the mood of the song. Well done.
My heart soared into the beautiful simplicity of the song and the seemingly effortless release of such a lovely invitation to come unto Christ.
