Location
1. Sodom and Gomorrah are located around the eastern side of the Dead Sea.
2. Gomorrah is located at the base of Masada, and Sodom is about 13 miles (20 km.) south of Gomorrah.
3. Though the actual locations of the cities are somewhat disputed, the growing evidence reveals that the locations are quite certain. This evidence is provided in the following section.
Historical Background
1. Josephus, a historian writer during the time of Christ, said the ruins could still be clearly seen in his day.
2. Archeologists have discovered around 1.5 million bodies in graves in these areas around Sodom and Gomorrah.
3. There are a lot of brimstone (old name for sulfur) balls in these cities.
4. This sulfur is unique and different from all other sulfur found in the world.
It is around 90-95% pure.
It is white, unlike any other place in the world.
It is so pure you can light it on fire, and it burns a hot blue flame.
These sulfur balls are not found between the cities.
5. There is a lot of ash in these areas which fits the biblical narrative.
2 Peter 2:6: And if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter.
6. The material of these city formations is calcium sulfate, which is what limestone and sulfur become when heated.
7. The choice building material in Israel is limestone, so these cities fit the scientific evidence as well.
8. There is a lot of charcoal layers found in the strata of these cities.
9. The amount of ash, charcoal, and calcium sulfate reveals overwhelming evidence of extreme heat in these cities.
10. There is also no geothermal activity in these areas to explain the ash, charcoal, and calcium sulfate.
11. In addition, there are many unexplained shapes in these areas that look like buildings, Sphinxes, pyramids, and palaces.
12. These cities existed around 4,000 years ago, so their remains would be difficult to distinguish. Plus, God destroyed and reduced them to ashes as well.
13. These cities fit the location as described in the Bible.
Genesis 13:10: Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the valley of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere-this was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah-like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go to Zoar [Zoar has been identified as being south of Sodom and Gomorrah].
14. Because the Dead Sea basin used to be like the Garden of Eden, it was an extremely desirable climate that was great for agriculture and life in general. It was, therefore, a very populated area.
15. The thought of God raining down fire and brimstone upon the cities and peoples in this area is staggering and gives me chills up and down my spine. This fire and brimstone were so hot and intense it destroyed everything in its wake.
16. God also used Sodom and Gomorrah to refer to all of the cities of the Dead Sea basin.

If you pay attention to your bible, you'll see that it was Jesus and two angels who ate and talked with Abraham. God the Father told Moses that no man can see His face and survive. It was also Jesus who walked with Adam in the Garden of Eden, again Jesus in King Nebicanezzar's fiery furnace.

Sorry to say but Wyatt did not find Sodom. The bible is very clear as to the location of Sodom. It is East of Bethel and Ai, on the well watered plain of the Jordan.

Q4. Do you know why Jesus went through all this bloody mess for us?
A4. As mentioned, our sin is the reason why we can’t go to heaven, and the only thing that can wash away our sin is the Blood of Jesus.
(4) Romans 5:9 KJV [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
According to the bible, the only way for us to reconcile with God is through Christ Jesus’s blood, and not through any works that we do or merits we accumulate, such as water baptism, attending church, or any good thing that we do. The following verses clearly support this.
(5) Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(6) 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
In order to get saved, repentance of one’s sin is needed to get saved, we need to be sorry, and repent, with conviction, that we are a wretched sinner.
(7) Romans 10:9 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
If you truly do believe in everything you have heard in the gospel, ,I strongly suggest you to make a proclamation to GOD! You can say it to God in less than 15 seconds !Repeat after this simple prayer, to make sure you truly get saved. Remember repeating this prayer doesn't save you, it's you telling God you BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Ok, here is the prayer :
‘Dear GOD,
I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen!

John the Baptist meant (applies today as well) that what the Jews were following has basically come to an end because the scriptures prophecy has come and that was Jesus Christ. Repent just means to turn from a belief to the right belief but most didn't even take into consideration what John the Baptist had to say.
One more thing, we all sin and come short of the glory of God as Romans 3:23 says and when we get saved, it's because we believe on Jesus Christ the correct way which is by 100% faith and not of works lest any man should boast like what's stated in Ephesians. Plus, if God gave them over to a reprobate mind, how are they gonna come out of that on their own when God did it to them for being so wicked in their hearts. The scripture I was recollecting but misquoted was Act 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. “. It requires baptism for the remission of sin.
@@donpierce7836 - Baptism isn't required either for the remission of sin. Believing on Jesus Christ 100% with all of your heart is what takes away our sins because we believe with faith and faith alone and that means we believe correctly.
Baptism is the next step to take as a Christian but it isn't necessary. I'm not baptised so you're saying I'm not saved? Haha, come on, buy a King James Version Bible and read it and then read it again and get on your knees and repent and talk to Jesus Christ admitting you're a sinner and to save you from your sins and mean it. Believe the virgin birth, believe He died on the cross for our sins, believe He was buried in the tomb, and believe He bodily arose on the third day, believe He is the Son of God, believe He is God Almighty and if you believe this then you will be saved and like I said, not because I say so but because God's word says so.

I went to Catholic grammar school and was taught the OLD TESTAMENT. being in the late 50's and early 60's, it was hard understanding the nature of the kind of people who had to be punished. at the time, I did not know that I would see this creeps all over the world as I grow up. I appreciate this video very much but when a bible calls Satan the morning star all while removing 45 complete verses totaling some 60k words, something is wrong. At the least it's done for copyright purposes at worst it's to change God's preserved word.

(6) 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
In order to get saved, repentance of one’s sin is needed to get saved, we need to be sorry, and repent, with conviction, that we are a wretched sinner.
(7) Romans 10:9 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
If you truly do believe in everything you have heard in the gospel, ,I strongly suggest you to make a proclamation to GOD! You can say it to God in less than 15 seconds !Repeat after this simple prayer, to make sure you truly get saved. Remember repeating this prayer doesn't save you, it's you telling God you BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Ok, here is the prayer :
‘Dear GOD,
I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen!

6/27/2022. I am a 16 year old Egyptian Muslim, and to be honest, after hearing the story of Lut millions of times, I really wonder when we will be able to fully uncover the location. It's just scary, knowing that sinners actually once lived and existed in an infamous city like this before. I really hope that after many years of excavation, we would be able to actually see those people's skeletons. I mean this is just extremely scary and terrifying for me, knowing that we are watching, viewing, seeing, observing, and walking with our feet above a city that faced the severe wrath and punishment of god before, all real, nothing here is fake. It's just very scary and unbelievable. Yet it's the truth right there in front of our eyes. Actual man made structures made with actual human hands. Maybe the reason for my fear is that it's hard to just imagine how the sinners looked like back then, how they lived, how they walked in streets, how they lived in their apartments, how they slept. God could have made it impossible for us to know this, but he left us with ruins in order for us to believe in him, and he even subtly told us about the location. That being said, imagine how many ruins there are in the world that we still haven't uncovered to this day!? These people actually existed and lived. Actual humans with beating hearts, actual humans with blood flowing through them, do you believe it!? The fact that you would be walking in their city too, it just feels off, it feels like you're walking in a place where you normally expect people to be, but they're all gone, every single one of them. Heck imagine even walking at the site once it is fully excavated, and you just encounter a skeleton lying in one of the buildings, freeze to death from fear instantly... X_X It also feels terrifying that you're walking on the ground of a place that once had skies with falling meteors, fire, and sulphur. How scary is this!?!?!?!??!
Perhaps if I were to visit any ruins one day, the city of Sodom and Gomorrah would be the most place I would want to visit after it is fully excavated. It would be a very exciting experience, but an extremely spine chilling one too.
I'm still wondering if God transformed it so completely that there was only a boiling mess with brimstone and fire. Then the valleys are just wadis cut into the ashes by desert rainfalls. Or if HE wants us to get more proof, that this once were cities. But i don't think, that "normal" excavations would be best to gain proof. I believe core drilling or jabbing a staff with a camera in front into the walls would be best to investigate the area. You don't have a high risk something collapsing in on You, You do not destroy much and You need a camera anyway to document the proof... Some weeks ago i did one horizontal "core drill". 2m far, ca. 2cm diameter (big enough to put a camera and lamp into) to find out if there may be still hollows to find. I could not spend more time there, did not find a chamber, only all the same gypsum ash material as on the outside. So the quest for truth is still on. If we could find a proof that there was a city, it might help somebody to leave his way to hell. Right before my drilling i was in Jerusalem and spoke with people whom the police withheld from coming to their homes for hours - because the police had to protect a "pride parade". The first word the Bible uses to describe the sins of S.& G. is "Pride"!

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah was a warning that has not taught people anything. So sad that people do not listen and heed the warning that God has given us. Now it is not two cities but the whole world. The US is the last great nation and you can see the demise of our country beginning. So sad but has to be!
I believe everything in the Bible, I accepten Jesus as my Lord and Saviour when I was 7 or 8 years old, I ve hear and read about Sodom and Gomora, and to be able to see these places know that I am 57 yeats old, it is overwhelming, I thank God that he help me believe when I could not see, and now that I see, it just bringas so much joy to my soul. When I was 15 years old I had a dream of Jesus coming the rapture! It was beautiful sunny day, and in my dream I was walking and all of sudden it got cloudy and dark the sun just faded and then big fire balls started falling down to earth all different sizes! In front of me and all around me. I remember hearing people screaming in panic! Pure chaos running all over trying to dodge the balls of fire. All of a sudden I see my feet lifting up in the air, it felt like slow motion, but I know I was going fast! I could see millions of people being lifted up all being dressed each with different number clothing! I remember being filled with happiness , peacefulness, excitement, and just pure anticipation of what was going to happen next! I remember entering this enormously never ending just covered all the sky beautiful white cloud, as a multitude of people also all of our faces just filled with happiness and joy. In my dream it looked just like pictures of sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed. My dream ended while we were all waiting to see Jesus but I know I will see him one day!❤️🙏🥲

Greetings! I much appreciate these videos myself but you must know that Islam is not the Way and neither is Christianity, as you know it.
These "people of the book" speak many truths but they use it to conceal a lie. They speak the name of the true God but misrepresent Him. They serve strange gods that the Bible doesn't speak of.
There is and has only been ONE God and His name is Yehoshua HaMachiac, Jesus Christ. God doesn't exist in three entities but, rather, three roles or manifestations and yet He is ONE. In this, the Muslims and Jews have been far more accurate.
I've known their tripple-god in their tombs that they call "churches" but only the Lord Jesus Christ has ever delivered me and set my path straight.
The same God who called Abram and Moshe is the same God that took on human form and was nailed to a tree for the eventual salvation of ALL men that ever existed, in the fullness of ages.
He is indeed a wonderful, faithful God and there are none beside Him.
I could spend a day telling you about Truth and error, about the REAL Christ, that even they have been blinded to. It's liberating, friend.
There is only One God who is in genesis. In the beginning was the word and the word was God. And prophesied by Isaiah 9:6-7.
Christ was God manifested.
The trinity is but offices.

As an American, I'm blessed that we have the Bible to guide us in our daily life along with technology such as videos like this one. They'll be no excuse on judgement day. My question though is were they aware of the flood?
Noah and his sons were building a huge boat on dry land for 100 years. So, yes, they knew why Noah was building it, but it was too far-fetched to believe.
They were wicked and didn't care. They were getting away with murder and were certain they would never be punished.

Makes no sense if God destroyed the sinner. So what is it? Is god the saver and the destroyer? He doesn’t change so it can’t be both. He says the devil is the destroyer. He comes to steal kill and destroy. These are contradictions in the way The Father is portrayed. Can it be that Satan as ruler of the world and great counterfeiter of God as he wanted to be worshipped as a god destroyed the people under a disguise of a phony holiness? Hmm. The veil, the evil, is still over the world to this day. It doesn’t seem that Yeshua is the deceiver, but mans interpretation of this account that leads to contradictions.

You can only hate the sin and love the sinner by committing three sins. First, you must judge that the other person’s activity is a sin. Second, you must judge that the other person is a sinner. Third, you have made yourself a judge of sin, even though as a sinner, you are not qualified to judge sin.

@@HolyLandSite honey you're so very welcome I taught Sunday School New Hope Church of God for the adults for 15 years they was a lady that was the main teacher and I helped once or twice a month and give her a rest till I got disabled on 59 now work 36 years went to church all my life every Sunday every Wednesday night or Sunday night till I was 18 I run away and got married 0ten-fifteen years go by every time I pass the church God was pulling me you need to get back in church you need to get back in church 0every time I passed it that's what run through my mind and I know it was God he's holy one that would have put that iny heart and ..the devil sure wouldn't have but man.

Thank you for showing this. I've read and heard about it all my life and never have I gotten to see it, people need to really understand what the Lord thinks about homosexuality and sin. I pray for their souls and their eyes to be open in the mighty name of Jesus.
It's an abomination because it's 100 percent opposite of God's plan, namely the sacred union of a Man and a Woman, especially in marriage.
I will not stop loving my god and his son Jesus. The devil tried to shake my core when my wife divorced me but I will love God will every part of me while on this earth. It was hard being a divorced Christian for awhile there.
