May Pen is the capital and largest town in the parish of Clarendon in Middlesex County, Jamaica. It is located on the Rio Minho river, and is a major market centre for the Parish.
May Pen - the capital of Clarendon, May Pen, was once part of a property owned by Rev. William May. It is said to have begun as merely two inns on the bank of the Rio Minho. The town grew rapidly and in 1938 it was made the capital of the parish. It is now a large town and boasts many churches, factories, a courthouse, modern libraries and numerous stores. While May Pen has no universities, it does have several public and private schools, including Central High School, Denbigh High School, Glenmuir High School (Anglican), Glenmuir Preparatory School (Anglican primary), May Pen High School (Adventist private), May Pen Primary School, Foundation Preparatory School, and St. Thomas Moore Preparatory School (Catholic primary).

I have walked from Kingston to Mobay with JWB and sometimes couldn't keep up, but I did this time. May Pen has a massive market and commodities store more than Kingston. Its extensive since I travelled through years back. Wonder what's the population there now - doesn't seem crowded. Thanks for another walking exercise video 👍😀

In the 80's I use to do security guard work in May pen, at National Bakery, across from the old police station.
Zip cafeteria was right beside the Bakery.
Now ! Looking at this video, I can't recognize nothing.
Neither Zip Cafeteria nor National Bakery.
Not even the old police station location I can recognized.
13:18 the police station is now located here
1:41:05 this is Zip cafeteria its still up and running. National Bakery isnt there anymore though. The old police station use to be across the street now its an empty lot basically
