About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever.

Never expected a Bowie drop today, this is gold
Any morning that starts with Bowie is a good one
Every performance from this man gets his all. He was never disappointing, everything was raw, and genuine. It all came from the heart!
Yes 🥺🥺🥺
Indeed. From the heart and even from above.
Absolutely!
Man who fell to Earth.
David Bowie will always remain a part of us 💔 🕯
so good to know that bowie is still alive and active in social media
He’s actually just living on mars :)

The man never disappointed. This song always gives me the chills. Haunting but beautiful. He was truly a poet. Long live David Bowie.
I'm sure some of his songs
are a tribute to lose he lost to the virus.
Damn. This might be the most expressive rendition of this song I've ever seen. Hours is a really underrated album.
Indeed.
How darn good was that ? David is someone who can make the best out of the best. He truly can pull you right on in ❤
Yes, underrated indeed. It's a pity.
Ive listened to this song quite a few times, but David made it come alive with this performance and gave it a new meaning for me. I have a new and greater appreciation of this song now.
The best version i've ever heard of this song. Terrific performance.
An amazing song from our BOWIE. UK Rest in Peace Sir.
David Bowie - The gift that keeps on giving. 🙏
I really love how we're adding more appreciation to hours... very underrated album of his, did not deserve the criticism the press gave it 😭
I miss David Bowie so much.
When he died a local college radio station where I live played non-stop David Bowie for a full month.
David Bowie had more influence on my childhood / teenage years been my own Father. A David Bowie song was my favorite song at 7 years old. It actually pisses me off that my Dad is still alive at 86 yet Bowie is not.
I did see Bowie live a few times and he did not really do that great in concert yet it was well worth the ticket prices just to be in the same area as Bowie.
I've even been a member of the Church of David Bowie for about the last 15 years. They're on Facebook. 🔥❣️🔥❣️🔥❣️🔥❣️🔥
Anche a me. Tanto 😢
40 years since the age of 2 dancing to "let's dance" in diapers.
@@thevoid99 That's hilarious. When Let's Dance came out, I was 15 years old going on 35.
The song that caught me as a little girl was Fame. (I know it wasn't all David Bowie but it was David Bowie I was most interested in) After that my mom would join that Columbia House records playing baby will get 8 tracks (damn I know I just lost a bunch of you 😂).
David Bowie had a couple of different albums that would go on to Columbia House. I learned early on that you can just give them a different name in order again and get like 6 free 8 tracks, not pay for whatever the hell they sent you
and then join again using a different name. We moved a lot so I think that helped.
By the time I was about 12 I had a job that I could squirrel away a little bit of money that my Mom didn't take.
My favorites were Low, Heroes, Lodger, Scary Monsters. Those were the albums that I would play over and over as I sulked in my room (It wasn't even my room, I shared it with 3 sisters but luckily the two oldest ones were never home and the youngest one was younger than me so I could tell her "get out of here".
When I grew up and found out what David Bowie was doing when he made those albums, I understood why they were such great sulk in your room albums.
Wow...I saw him live 4 times...he was awesome! What tours did you see? Glass Spider was fantastic and the Black & White tour was as well. Saw him with Peter Frampton on lead guitar, Adrian Belew as well on lead...everyone has an opinion though and I respect yours, but DB live were such magical experiences! Was really close too, the man looked like a dark angel ...I will never forget those experiences.
Can't believe you said he wasn't that good live he must have had an off night .I have seen led zepp ,zappa ,Floyd etc none of them came close to David. The man stayed on stage for over 3 hours who does that nowadays ? Miss you Ziggy.
This version has done it again. I cried when he did it live on Later in 1999, and Ive just cried again, as I watch my favourite singer of all time perform with such emotion and feeling. Jeez, I miss David Bowie 😢 I feel we will never see his like again 😭❤️❤️🙏
The album version of this song is already quite raw, but this performance took that up to 11.
Loved this song on the end credits of the American Psycho movie. It really fits with the ending.
Geez .. was there a 90's movie that didn't end credits with a Bowie tune?
I want to tell this version of Bowie to not worry, he will find the love of his life in less than two years 💜
Wdym? He married Iman in 1992
@@SequinMaddox this was filmed in 1990
@@vivianawalker744 the caption says "1999"
So does Google
@SequinMaddox then I am wrong and he's already happy and I need new glasses.
it's so good to see these live renditions that have been archived and hidden for so long. i never saw them the first time around. amazing, keep them coming!
This song was used during the end credits of the film ‘Memento’, the Director, Christopher Nolan, originally wanted to use Radiohead’s song Paranoid Android instead but he couldn’t get the rights. Great live rendition of this Bowie song! 😊
What a damn great performance. Nearly gasping and sobbing as he gripped the mic
Love this song, always makes me cry but I still love it!
I saw him for the first time in a while and I was blown away by how cool he was!
He's the best!
Bowie is eternal!
My fav Hours song. It's just awesome

David, if you can hear me in outer space somewhere, thank you. Your music is providing a badly needed distraction for how sad I feel right now.
Ti ho conosciuto nel 1978. Da allora ti penso spesso. Mi manchi ❤
Beautiful, I love ❤️ his songs. Bravo my darling David Bowie, Love ❤️ you forever!🎶🎤👏👏🎶🎤👏👏
velvet, round glasses, purple, cigarette, with raw throated expression and a uniformed Gail Ann Dorsey.
Possibly amplified by reflection off Garson's head in some diffuse antimetaphor or a reversed magnifying glass.
His were well girded for this performance.
Impressive performance, this is the first time I've heard this song and not instinctually laughed at "Abracadoo, I lose you"
What a wonderful song.
Stupenda versione! 😍❤️
Anything David Bowie touched turned to gold.👏🏻👏🏻
Not always to be honest...tin machine was a mistake..as was most of the 80's.
