MOON -- Panasonic G6 and GM1

Two traversals of the frame with a highly magnified moon. The two bodies were mounted to a Tamron 500mm mirror lens with a Tamron 1.4x teleconverter and the built in teleconverter was also switched on.
Note that the focus appears to be shifting slightly all the time, but what is actually happening is that you are seeing the effect of what astronomers call "seeing", which is the clarity of the air. With such high magnifications, even slight turbulence in the air can cause dramatic distortions in the image.
