I bought a wedge pillow for only one purpose that you didn’t mention. I use it upright behind my back when I’m sitting up watching tv. Regular pillows don’t support your lower back for this.

Okay I did not buy my pillow my wife daughter bought this pillow for my wife well my wife passed on she had a lot of health issues I don't even think my wife use this pillow but anyhow I didn't want to throw it out so I had it here in my house for more than 2 years well one day I decide to try to use it to see what it's about well normally I get 4 to 6 hours of sleep lately with this wedge sleeping I'm getting 7 8 hours of sleep so yeah it helps with a lot of stuff I'm 56 years old okay that's my two cents

How to not slide off of the pillow? I end up waking in awkward position like I've melted down the pillow
I also found I had a sliding problem. Therefore I put a yoga block behind the top of it (the bit where it was in contact with the head board). This keeps it a little further away from the head board and I can now put my pillow further up the bed on the wedge. It's hard to explain but if you try it you will know what I mean.

Buy a longer wedge that is a more gentle angle.
Put a pillow under your knees. It can keep you from sliding!

I sleep on my side and I have that pillow which I use to elevate my legs because they swell. My problem is that by the morning my knees ache and feel bruised. How do I position the pillow so my knees don’t hurt

@34rd-uv9nc Not sure if it is possible to find a perfect pillow (maybe if I was a billionaire and could afford to test every pillow on the market), but the one that has worked best for me is tempur original pillow (the smallest size for adults).

I agree! I’m a Chronic Pain patient in the USA and they’ve made it impossible for millions of us to get any good rest to be able to function. I’ve got multiple conditions and fibromyalgia is about the worst.
I had a total hip replacement Dec. 5th and was given nothing for pain relief in the hospital or to have at home. Pain meds are almost impossible to get here, unless you’re very lucky and can find a doctor that the DEA hasn’t scared off of adequate pain treatment, you just deal with it. Thank you democrats for everything you’ve done to destroy any chances we had for a little bit of normalcy. I’m going to get one of these as soon as I get paid and see if I can sleep in our bed. We have a hospital bed I’ve been sleeping in downstairs and I’m ready to go back to MY bed! I sure hope it helps🙏🏼🙏🏼
The way they treat disabled people since the democrats’ ACA, the CDC sticking their noses where they don’t belong and the DEA making medical decisions without any med school AT ALL. They’re arresting good doctors with many decades of caring for complex patients with narcotic analgesics, putting them in federal prison.

@@st3590 Yes Amazon has a good ones, but almost always when you look up some products on Amazon it says "currently unavailable" and that's very irritable.
I get so frustrated with Amazon because of that! although I have ordered stuff from them a few times now_ but still I looked up for these pillows and almost all of them are "'Currently unavailable"' 🙄😟.

Just bought a wedge, for my daughter ($70) as she has acid reflux. We tried it, and she only lasted half a night, saying she had a sore back. I decided to try it the other half of the night, as I snore, although no-one was around to hear it. Maybe I was not lying on it properly? I had the most dry mouth I had ever had. Took water sips through the night, still very dry and I had a hard time getting back to sleep, so slept on the couch. Not happy, but will give it another chance tonight. Anyone else have a problem with the wedge?
It takes getting used to. You pretty much have to sleep on your back. But it’s really good for digestion etc
I do. I bought it for acid reflux as well, but can't find a comfortable way to sleep on it as a side sleeper; my neck cramps, and my hip hurts.
Are you and your daughter also placing pillows under your legs? It is very comfortable and also helps with lower back issues (for me).

Regardless of the merits of this product, to me, it loses all credibility by the presenter sitting/laying on a bed wearing high heel shoes (which are poor for posture and can cause serious problems to health anyway) to demonstrate how the wedge might be used.
