Murad Awawdeh, Executive Director of the New York Immigration Coalition, showed us the spots around Little Palestine in Paterson, NJ. Let us know which spot in Paterson is your fave 🤝
Stereotypical "American culture" is pretty interesting hodgepodge of different European cultures. They were all immigrants too, once. Baseball was British, football was rugby, hotdogs were brought by german immigrants, fried chicken by the Scottish, pizza from Italians.
It’s a different country it’s never going to be the exact same, Japan has very stereo typical American food and even though they all originated from different cultures they are considered American food over there
Culture will always be mixed and have similar characteristics to other cultures because that’s the foundation of what it is. People being influenced by other people and making it their own.
Yeah but the current wave isn’t impacting the country in a good way. Spending tax money to have people come here and live for, when we have so many issues already Is worrying.

Italy didn’t have tomatoes until the colonization of the North American continent occurred, but I get your point regardless
@@Partyhatpossum that's an interesting point of history!
Yeah I see what you are trying to say but at the same time you could say that about literally so many cultures lmao

"We're only as strong as our neighbor"? I think COVID showed us that a modern developed country should have a real medical system.
*LEGAL* immigration no one has an issue when you come through the front door.
The only way to move forward is together
Im from Paterson and feel like it's a microcosm of the entire country.....55 Different nationalities trying to figure it out for the next generation.
@righteouseats Can you find a chamorro place to eat in NYC? I went to a spot in SF and I cannot forget the food I had... Loved!
