      Congrats! Glad the current situation didn't stop you from buying it, perhaps you even got a discount. I've had mine for 3 years now and loving it. But I must admit, the mods are hitting my wallet pretty hard. :) though saving lots of money by DIY and buying OEM parts instead of from the P dealer.

      Thank you. I got a Zoom sound recorder and placed it in the engine compartment, literally, as the GoPro picks up too much wind noise, lol. Still saving up for the Europipe exhaust.

    JW, they look great. I have centerlock and can’t make that adjustment...... I’m thinking that you should be thinking about a set of the updated 997.2 turbo OEM wheel.... it would drastically change and update your car.

    Hi Jim, Thanks for the videos! Did you also lower the car in a later stadium and did that work well with the spacers?

    • @atm4jim
      @atm4jim  4 года назад +1

      Thanks, No, car is not lowered, still on stock springs and shocks.

  • @js002003
    @js002003 2 года назад +1

    it seems 7 in the front and 15 in the back the magic set up. did you lower the car as well? (wondering if it would still work with slightly lowered car or if i'd get rub).

    • @atm4jim
      @atm4jim  2 года назад +4

      Yes, I recently upgraded to Bilstein B16 Damptronics adjustable coilovers and it's slightly lowered about 3/4 to an inch and no rubbing. The stance looks good now IMO. Thanks.

    Did you get a new 4 wheel alignment?
    After all, you did change the factory geometry

    • @atm4jim
      @atm4jim  2 года назад

      No, I don't think I did and it was fine. It may have changed the camber a bit but not much. The toe and caster stayed the same. I eventually did do an alignment to increase camber for better handling on HDPE events but I wasn't in a hurry as it drove fine. Thanks.

    Jim- they look great with the spacers! Do the spacers get held on by separate screws/bolts? Or are they simply held on by the bolts that hold the wheels on? There is some debate about the additional pressure put on the bolts, hub and other components with spacers and now what it has been a year have you experienced any issues? Thanks for sharing.

    • @atm4jim
      @atm4jim  4 года назад +1

      There're simply held by the longer wheel bolts. No issues so far. I think as long as the spacers aren't too wide, you shouldn't have issues.

      @@atm4jim Thanks! Glad to hear they are still working well.

  • @jechoon

    Any reason you didn’t go for bigger spacers like 21mm on the rear? You’d get a more aggressive stance with those

    • @atm4jim
      @atm4jim  5 лет назад +3

      I'm happy with 15mm as I didn't want it to stick out and possibly hit the fenders. From reading the forums, it seems most people are running 15mm on the rear and 7mm on the front. I'm also concern about the added impact on the wheel bearings by going wider.

    What brake setup do you have Jim? I have BCCB brakes and I am thinking about swapping the ceramic discs for steel.

    • @atm4jim
      @atm4jim  5 лет назад

      I swapped out my PCCB to Brembo Type III steel rotors for track use due to their replacement cost. I assume that's the reason why you're planning to switch.
      I got the Brembo Type III rotors which are pricey but I got them for much less used. I'm currently using Ferodo DS2500 brake pads which are good for street use with some track. I will need to go with track pads such as DS1.11 when I start to go faster but they are noisy on the street.

    Can you post the size of the lug nuts used for front and back with 7mm and 15 mm respectively? Thank you!

    • @atm4jim
      @atm4jim  3 года назад +1

      37mm for the front and 48mm rear (45 would also work but not available form Numeric). I got them from Numeric Racing. OEM were 30mm thread length.

    • @atm4jim
