2016 BMW R1200 GS Adventure : Oil & K&N filter change during COVID-19 in NYC

Im wearing a facial covering because I am in public in NYC during a pandemic.
I was getting close to 18K on my 2016 BMW GS ADV so I figured I could still get service from BMW. I was quoted an outrageous price for the service and I decided that I would do it on my own.
I ordered a new K&N Air filter element from RevZilla along with a new K&N oil filter
Servicing my bikes on the streets of NYC has its own set of challenges like limited space, laying in the street(literally) and being exposed to the weather. Thankfully I took advantage of this nice spring day to knock out the very important service my bike required. I bought the oil that my local auto parts store had on the shelf, nothing fancy and definitely not BMW brand or anything.
